Nothing new, most of the stores are run of the mill. There are no decent restaurant here, this place is packed with fast food, so lower your expectation. Avoid coming here during peak hours, way too crowded and packed with unruly kids and teens.

Frequent here quite often… Great stores, good selection and cool place to pick up snacks and eat as you shop. I absolutely love going to the nail salon in the mall where I get my manicures and pedicures. Different stores have great sales and promotions including Bath and Body Works, Macys and Forever 21 just to name a few.

Kids coin operated cars was not working. My son put dollar to each and they did not worked. My son was very upset. After we left I know that several kids had the same issue.

Nicely renovated and plenty of good shopping and fast food. Don’t like the entrance from the indoor parking lot and no free parking. Sometimes feels like a hassle and would rather shop on line.

As the only decent shopping center in Brooklyn, Kings Plaza is OK. One tip: there also good stores in the surrounding area of the mall, so keep that on mind if you are coming for different items.
Nice selection of stores, including electronics like best buy and few gift shops. But I guess the main reason to come here is clothing. Many different brand names, keeps everything in one place.
I think that if you are plan into make a big buy, it may be better for you to check other malls or outlets. They may be farther from Brooklyn, but you can save a lot of money.
There is room for one more in Brooklyn.

Was in the mall yesterday, my rating still hasn’t changed, however, they seem to be making improvements every time I come here.
When it comes to appearance: They have made alot of improvements in appearance when it comes to the exterior and interior appearance of the mall, and the seating and phone chargers they added are a plus. its come a long way from the seedy, subpar appearance it had 4 years ago. I also saw a reasonable amount of security guards patrolling the mall, which has been a concern to partrons and neighborhood residents for quite some time.
When it comes to stores: They still have a long way to go on store selections, however, adding stores such as Michael Kors, Solstice, Vans, Zumiez and Hot Topic are definatley a step in the right direction for this mall, and of course customer service can still be hit or miss depending on which stores you go into.
When it comes to restaurants: I’ve stated this in my previous reviews, they have improved on more healthy choices such as Panera Bread, Chiptole, Starbucks, both in the Lobby and in Macys, but still, this mall is lacking a proper sitdown restaurant, the rest of the eating facilites are garbage fast food places scattered randomley around the mall rather than in a designated food court. On a side note, the mall has a cinnabun/​21 toppings within the mall, however, when i wanted to get a frozen yogurt none of the machnies were working, there wasnt even anyone behind the counter, what the hell is the point of having a 21 toppings in the mall if it’s never open?

Big mall, Parking lot inside you have to pay which isn’t so bad. Usually you will get lucky an find a spot on the street.

Went with my wife for the first time a day after christmas and expected some kind of chaos and for the most part it wasn’t as bad as I thought. It was busy but it wasn’t sardine can packed, enough to breathe and had 2 stories of stores. Not much of a variety of food selections but enough to get the job done but! The seating area for food consumption was small not much seating so you will either have to stand and eat or wait for a spot. I didn’t see much security, 1 guard in each floor which isn’t enough for the gigantic size and 2 guards hanging near the entrance

Haven’t been to Kings Plaza in yearrrrs. Last time I was there it felt like half the mall had been shut down. Recently though I needed to do some shopping and Kings Plaza seemed like a better option than the {dreadful} Atlantic Terminal…
Such a good decision! Realizing that KP had implemented ‘holiday hours’ at the beginning of December — I arrived just a few minutes after the mall opened at 9am on Saturday. The place was basically empty and it was magical. I was in and out of all the stores* I needed to visit in under an hour! Plenty of stores have either moved or been given makeovers — so the mall doesn’t seem nearly as sad as it once did.
If you had asked me before Saturday if I wanted to visit KP I would have needed a couple days to consider it. Now… sure, lets go! But probably only early Saturday morning.**

** I’ve now been to KP on the random weekday, on a holiday like MLK or Columbus Day and early morning Saturday. Saturday is definitely the way to go — less chance of crowds, kids hanging out after school, etc.

Decent mall. It can get packed, however that’s to be expected, it is a mall after all :-). They have a good variety of shops and seem to be adding more. The best thing is that they have two MACs! My inner Makeup addict loves it!

This mall is alright. I can’t say it’s bad and I can’t say it’s great. It’s in the middle pretty much. From times of coming here when I was a lot younger to seeing the mall now, I have to admit that this mall has come a very long way. Lots of renovations and reconstruction has really beautified this mall. I still don’t understand why there’s still construction being done on the parking lot. It seems like there’s been construction being performed on the parking lot forever. I think this mall needs more varieties of stores and a larger selection of food and restaurant options. Not enough healthy options here at all.

This mall is OK. It is not the worst, you can find parking anytime, they offer many nice stores, and they even have Best Buy inside. Maybe it is not amazing, and maybe it is not one of the huge outlets you can find in New York, but it definitely do the work when you need to but something, and you don’t have the time to travel far. And I will tell you a secret (And it is not Victoria’s one ;), if you go early in the morning, you will have the whole mall to yourself for two hours.

This mall has been around for years. I remember when they use to have the store «alexandria». Now sears is occupying that store. Their are many stores and if you are coming from other boroughs. Its’ worth the trip. What I like most is the 3 dollar all day parking fee. Plus when you enter the parking garage. Their is a sign that tells you how many parking spots are left in each level.

I used to hate this mall. I live in Brooklyn and would travel to Roosevelt field mall to do my shopping. However, this mall must have new management. It has more stores and doesn’t seem too crowded with noisy teenagers as it used to be a few years ago.
I only go to this mall to visit one store and if I need to purchase something that I can’t find at other stores. I noticed that they got rid of the parking lot cashiers. Now, you need a ticket upon entry and you have to pay before you leave the mall. And, yes, you can assume that the price for parking went up!!!

Save yourself, it’s worth traveling somewhere else if you have the time.
Last minute Mac supplies, or a jaunt to Victoria’s Secret or H&M, may be worth it. Otherwise stay away. They don’t really have good stores anyway.
Funny experience: The Starbucks chick told me that I was wrong when I asked for decaf iced coffee. Starbucks has never served that. She knows. She went to a company conference. Or her manager did. Or something.

I haven’t been to this mall in years and some things never change. There are still very little options for men, There are still hood rats running around the mall, and they are still overpriced.
I went to purchase a pair of Jordan 1’s which were $ 119 EVERYWHERE else. But not in kings plaza. Those same kicks goes for $ 150 there.
That’s why I use fashion stork to build my wardrobe. Malls don’t cater to men at all. This mall is worth only 2 stars but get an extra one for the low parking cost. You can’t go wrong with three bucks to park your car.

Kings Plaza is a last-​minute destination if you’re in need of something that you absolutely can’t find anywhere else in the area. While it is less crowded than Atlantic Terminal, you will still encounter large groups of high-​school children from time to time.
The majority of the mall is food shops and restaurants — Godiva chocolates, pretzel stands, Subway, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Chipotle and more. There’s a GNC which is relatively well-​stocked and has friendly staff.
The Forever 21 store has some of the most present and helpful employees of any location I’ve visited. The only problem is that some items are mislabeled — today I was told I could not purchase a dress clearly labeled 50% off because «they forgot to take those tags off a while ago», which made no sense.
The H&M is sad. There are not very interesting offerings (mostly «basics» and children’s clothes) compared to other stores of similar size. While I’ve had pleasant interactions with employees in the past, today I witnessed an interaction with a cashier being so rude to their customer that I put back my items and walked out of the store.
The mall itself is kept clean and tidy. However, it is INSANE that there is one restroom location for the entire mall and it is both dirty and run-​down at all times — not to mention the fact that it’s located in a far-​flung corner on the second floor.
On the plus side, their Subway franchise is probably the calmest one of any that I’ve visited in the entire city. Which is bizarre, but worth noting.
Also. The balloon booth upstairs. If someone would buy me a giraffe balloon buddy, I would love them forever.

the sickly sweet smell of diabetes-​inducing cookies won’t leave your skin, and a mob of unruly high schoolers just pushed you to the ground on your way to the McDonalds. around the corner, tucked away by the parking lot exit, is a formalwear store that can only be outfitting the very, very blind – or, you know, giant parrots. «I must be dreaming,» you say. «is this hell on earth?»
«no,» someone whispers. «it’s kings plaza.»
but if you come here, count your blessings, because at least you’re not at the Atlantic Terminal. shudders.

My second visit to this mall in two weeks. My prior visit was approximately eighteen months ago. I’m paying more attention this visit.
Construction still in progress. It’s not as rowdy as I remembered it to be but after 7pm on a Thursday fall evening, uuummmm may be the norm.
It’s a big enough mall with some high end and other reasonably priced stores but they need to do some PR to bring folks to this place. It’s a ghost town. If you enjoy shopping in peace while being attended to by slightly lethargic CSRs you’ll be in shoppers paradise here.
I don’t know if this may resonate with other Unilocalers but my New York (American) experience has been based a lot on comparisons. I’m a Caribbean expat. I compare what we have home to what I see and experience here in the «big city». This mall wouldn’t be able to touch some of the malls we have back home with a 10 foot pole.

Basic mall. They keep trying to add more stores. Service for any known chain location will be much lower than the standards at locations in the city. Keep that in mind when coming here. You won’t get as much inventory as in the city.
It is very convenient if you live on this side of Brooklyn.
Good for doing an exchange or a return.
The best thing about this mall is the Cookie House. I would travel for those before coming here looking for an outfit or shopping.
