Its great cause its only one block from me. They close early and don’t open early enough for me in the morning. They need to increase their hours in someway.

Of course, a huge reason why I love this place so much is because it’s around the corner from my place, but another plus is that the staff is the friendliest laundromat staff I’ve ever encountered. They are very nice and make an unpleasant task a little bit less unbearable.

This spot isnt pretty or spacious but i only used it as a drop off service and have never actually done laundry there. However my clothes are always ready by the next day and everything is neatly folded of course with the exception of curtains(get ready to do some serious ironing). They also offer a pretty good dry cleaning service also and their prices are very reasonable. All in all this place has held us down and could probably be seen as a part of my relationship seeing as how they’ve washed mine and my gf’s un-mentionables at least 20 times. I even remember leaving some of my gf’s lingerie in there by accident, awwwkward but hey were practically family at this point… right?!

If only I could leave just one star! I just moved to the neighborhood and thought this was the closest laundromat, hence my choosing it in the first place. The washers are tiny(especially for the price) and old. Many of them don’t even function, which leads me to my experience today. One of the washers I had added money to wasn’t functioning, so one of the attendants helped me find some that did, added $ 3 and set me up there. I returned later to get change for a $ 20 from the attendant to put two $ 10 bills in the quarter machine and to add my washed clothes to the dryer. However, upon my return to pick up my dry clothes, I was yelled at by the attendant from earlier then later by her supervisor about not having put money in the machine, even though I did. The machine was now working, unlike this morning(which has nothing to do with me) and I had to fight with the supervisor to prove that I did in fact have money(How else would I have dried by clothes? How else would the attendant have given me change for a $ 20 bill?) Long story short, after telling the supervisor to check his security cameras(yes, they have security cameras in their laundromat and everything is behind plexiglass) and that I would never come back, I left. The place is filthy, the washers small, old and non-functional, and the attendants are rude and belligerent. Avoid this place like the plague.

When I moved to Bed-Stuy I started using the laundromat on Nostrand between Halsey and Macon. That place looks kind of fancy for the ‘hood, with two flat screen TVs, one per room, and fairly new machines. However their machines wash very badly(if your gym clothes still smell after you washed them, clearly something ain’t right), their«customer service» is atrocious(one machine once stole my money, and the kid in charge of the place refused to give me a refund b/c he didn’t see me putting the coins in), and a couple of months ago they jacked up prices by $.25. Looks can definitely be deceiving: time to look for a new laundromat, Matteo! The aptly named Laundromat and Dry Cleaning at 1253 Fulton St., is a Chinese-owned establishment: it certainly does not look fancy at all, their machines seem pretty old, but guess what? it’s cheaper($ 1.25/load) and it washes my clothes better than the old place. I also used their dry cleaning services once, and although they are not cheap, their prices are on par with those at any of the dry cleaners around here(and I tried quite a few). I still find puzzling that dry cleaning a shirt in Bed-Stuy costs me almost double as much as what I was used to pay in the UES… WTF?!? It certainly could be cleaner…
