Description

Specialties

On the border between ocean and beach, no place is more extraordinary than Luna Park in Coney Island. This quirky and clean entertainment area features more than just sun, sand and the world-famous Cyclone Roller Coaster.

Luna Park offers over 30 attractions, including 8 high thrill rides, 6 roller-coasters, games, go-karts, restaurants and an arcade, but the amusement park is so much more. Coney Island’s thriving nightlife mixes with a calm, beach scene in a district that has been entertaining visitors of all stripes for over a century.

Minutes from local transit and an easy drive from Manhattan, Coney Island is a mix of colorful, local history and today’s cutting-edge technology. Its edgy charm provides a unique experience that is a must-have for every true New Yorker.

History

Established in 2010.

Opening in 2010, the current rendition of Luna Park is situated across the street from the site of the original Luna Park, from which we take its name, to honor its impact on Coney Island. We take pride in the fact that we boast the most adrenaline-pumping and exhilarating rides in all of New York City and feature a wide-variety of rides and amusements to satisfy thrill-seekers (and scaredy cats) of all ages.
