Magic Jungle

I recently celebrated my son’s 4^th birthday here it was great!!!
from start to finish the staff was kind and very helpful and attentive to all of my guest.
My son was the happiest kid alive, and kept saying mommy this is the best birthday party ever!!! the magician was awesome and the owners were also kind (I called almost everyday to make sure things were perfect) no one ever rushed me or got annoyed with me. I LOOOOVED IT!!!

The place is very big, but there was a strong musty smell which seemed to be remnants of possible water damage from hurricane Sandy. The jungle jim area was big and kept the kids busy, but that’s all there was, well that and a TINY ball pit jammed into the corner. I wouldnt throw a party there, but I wouldnt discourage someone else from doing so either. It’s all right, but just all right.

having 2 kids i had an experience with couple of party places in brooklyn, but Magic Jungle is on top of them. first of all its huge play area for big and small kids separated areas. Girls who work there are very friendly and pay a lot of attention to kids and parents. the dining area is huge, where my guest could sit and enjoy their coffee and cake separated from kids. the puppet show, bubbles, games and music made my kids birthdays more than excited. finally i d like to thank the owner who helped and served us himself. after my kids birthdays all of my friends celebrate their kids bdays in magic jungle!!!

Great facility, kiddie bowling lanes are a lot of fun (but stopped working after about 40 minutes of party, promised unlimited use). Dance floor is spectacular, but the music was too loud, I made about 5 – 8 attempts to make them lower the music, but apparently the show was run by stubborn teenagers, who refused to satisfy my demands. Btw I asked if the music could be adjusted before I booked the party, since I had my twins 1 yo party there and my oldest was sensitive to loud noises at that time, and I was told I could control it. I would say that this was my main issue with them. Also you could pay extra for character Carvel cake, which we chose for our oldest child to honor him, since the twins had their two cakes ordered from somewhere else. The same teenagers who ignored me before, decided to cut our third payed extra cake without showing it to us, they though since we had 2 other cakes, we would not need the 3^rd one :) I was not charged for that cake after talking to the owner. When I told him that it would be nice to have adult supervision on the floor, he said I dont understand the business !! For the premium charge of $ 750 per 12 or 15 kids, my guests about 10 3 – 4 year olds had ½ slice of pizza each (i also specified that i want plenty of pizza for our guest before hands) and I was not offered the leftovers :) they called Chill private party nowadays, maybe they under new management. But back in 2010 they had great place and typical «russian» customer service!!!

Had my sons birthday party in Magic Jungle. All was great, the place has a great gym and the people that work their were professional and attentive to all the kids. We had to order the food through the place which was fine, however found it kind of odd that the owner of the place, Gene, kept eating all the food, and the most gross part was that he kept grabbing the sushi with his hands and then running in to his office to eat. Then we got the bill… it turns out that they are in business by over charging… there were additional fees on things that we never spoke about. He charges $ 6 per child for decorations, he charged me for 15 kids when I only had 12, when I pointed it out he blamed the people that work their meanwhile I confirmed the numbers with him over the phone. He charged me $ 75 for the elmo character however when I booked the place he said it would be free with the cake. So when I questioned him he said that Elmo with cake is only 10 minutes but I had Elmo for 15. I have never wrote a review before but this really took me over the edge, it is so upsetting to go to a place and have such a horrible experience at the end. He threatened to call «3111» so the cops come and arrest me because I refused to pay for the things that I never agreed to (this part cracked me up). Everything about the place was all about scamming people. They have a machine that gives change for video games, a few of my guests put money in and never got the quarters. When I told Gene about this he said that he cannot give back the money because its not his machine and if I want the people that fix it will be here tomorrow and I can get the money from them. As if I am going to come back the next day to get the money. Its not about the money but the principal. Your choice to make parents… you have been warned! And apparently I am not alone, I went on face book and posted about the place and instantly got comments from other parents that had the same experience when it came to the bill.

I recently went to a birthday party at this place and I must say it is by far the worst place for a kids party that I have ever been to. The hostesses working there didn’t pay any attention to the kids and just kept on chatting among themselves. There was no supervision in the jungle gym and the parents had to get in there themselves to help small children.
When it came time to eating, the kids got ½ slice of pizza and a cup of apple juice. No one asked if the kids would like seconds or a refill on the juice. Good luck getting someone to help if you have a spill. The entertainment was poor and there was only so much the kids can wave that parachute.
The kicker for me was when they turned on the bubble machine while the cake was being presented to the birthday kids. Bubbles all over that cake!
Would not recommend to anyone and will probably not attend if invited to this place.

We had our daughters 1^st birthday party at the Magic Jungle and it was spectacular. The kids ranged in age from 1 — 10yrs old. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how organized the party was. They did an excellent job and kept the kids entertained. Parents were impressed! It was, by far, the best kids birthday party I have ever been to and I am not saying that because it was my daughter’s!
The play room (jungle) is amazing and so much fun! My husband and I even went down the slide a couple of times with our daughter. The second half of the party took place in another room where they served food and cake, played games and danced. It was nonstop action and fun! The music was great! This place is super clean and well worth every penny.
The Magic Jungle exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this place.

Magic Bowling is a big brother of a Magic Jungle. We have observed the place being built as we attended numerous parties for our friends at the sister Magic Jungle, which is an ideal place for anyone under the age of 8. My son was turning 10 and we wanted to find a place that would be fun for someone his age. Traditional party places just were not too interesting to him anymore. Having it at a regular bowling alley would mean no privacy and not enough room for adults. When Magic Bowling opened its doors at the beginning of April 2009, we went to check it out and booked the party right away. The place looks like a swanky night club and it has a virtual bowling, Wii, table tennis, air hockey, lighted dance floor and various other activities. Everyone had such a blast, my son said it was the best party ever. The space has two floors and second flooris reserved for adults only. We had catered food and brought our own liquor and had quite a blast ourselves. This is definitely a place to have a party for anyone from the 10 – 16 age set and to be honest, I could even see some adults who like to kick back and relax would enjoy this place.
