History
Established in 2013.
Marrakesh Express is the culmination of years of careful consideration, study and practice. The chef and owner is of Moroccan extraction, born in Canada and partially raised in Morocco by his grandparents. While in Morocco, he had the unique opportunity to assist in the daily preparation of traditional dishes from the age of four. Preparing dishes and assisting in the daily meals for dignitaries and visitors to the house-hold as his grandfather was a high official in the government. Jad was imbued at an early age with the traditions and depth of Moroccan cuisine derived from Moorish Al-Andalus from his grandmother.
