I was a little skeptical at first but once I sat down and was greeted so warmly I knew I picked the right place. The customer service was great, attentive, kind and courteous. Food was off the hook! And ambience is nice and cozy with great décor and clean.

Usually pretty damn good but last time I ordered, I had to throw everything out– chicken was underdone and the food was inedible. Maybe I’ll give ‘er another shot sometime but probably not.

Lunch special hot vegetable plate for $ 6.95 and a glass of cold lemonade for $ 2.75. If you’re into those days where not eating greasy food is a must have, this spot is just right. Quick service, good customer service and a coZy spot to eat and relax. While I should have tasted the falafel, I was keeping lunch expenses at $ 10 or less(actually spent a lil over $ 11 with tip). The food was good for the price, not screaming awesome but just about right.

i like this place. don’t order from the menu – go up to the counter. the falalfal balls are fresh, but there’s a whole counter of fun ingredients that aren’t listed. i could easily upgrade this to four stars, but i’ll need to go back once more.

Mr. Falafel is fantastic. I get the falafel platter that comes with salad and a bunch of delicious sides, the falafel is so flavorful and cooked just right, the hummus is creamy and the pita bread is so good, you get a ton of food but its all healthy and the price is right. I would recommend. Def going back soon

Mr. Falafel claims to be an Egyptian restaurant but take it from the Egyptian I was with and myself the food isn’t all that great. He wasn’t too impressed and neither was I. And he said some of the dishs are Moroccan not Egyptian. But the food really wasn’t that great. The blackeyed peas that came as a side were disgusting. I couldn’t even eat them. The service was good. And the seating area was nice and clean. But all together it was a disappointment. I would say the best part was the mint tea. Which my friend said was in very Egyptian style which was delicious.

Oily and greasy, and not in the good way. I had their lamb and my wife and the chicken gyro, both were equally dissatisfying. There’s other great falafel places on 7th ave.

That was one of the BEST places that I’ve eaten in NY, if not the best. I ordered Koshari and Molokhiya and they were phenomenal, my gf ordered Falafel combination #4 and was in awe from the deliciousness! Very friendly and kind staff, LARGE portions, I was full. Great great place, very highly recommended

The perfect spot for a quick lunch in Park Slope. Their food is authentic, the atmosphere pleasant, and the service is fast. Owner, Aladdin, always has a smile on his face and great to chat with.

Best kept Secret! I come all the way from South Brooklyn to eat at this family owned place! I love the falafels, salads are always fresh and delicious, the pita sandwiches are amazing, and they make their own hot sauce that I bought a few bottles of because my wife is obsessed with it. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Always serviced with a smile as well!

The gyro plate is amazing. But recently I’ve been INLOVE with the lentil soup. Ordered it 3 night in a row and slightly disappointed that I just figured out how good it is as the summer is beginning. Other than that their lemonade with rose water is ridiculously good. Have yet to try the actual falafel from Mr. Falafel. That will be my next order and I will update.

Was in the area and saw this place. Wanted to find out if they deserved the name«mr falafel» — and they do! Falafel was amazing. I got mine in a pita(pita was toasted) Every bite was perfect. They have a great hot sauce if you’re into it. I also got the lemonade which was Fresh and amazing. At the end we got a dessert the kadaif — was a nice sweet ending — I recommend this place 100% and will be back :)

One of the best Lamb Shwarma sandwiches I ever had. I ate about one a day after we had our baby at NY Methodist up the street and were kept for almost a week. My wife also loves the falafel. I found the employees very friendly and welcoming, even on a night I strolled in just before closing. The interior is pretty standard. Kind of like a Mediterranean version of a typical Brooklyn pizza shop. They also have pretty great t-shirts.

Large portions, good prices, nice staff. This place is dependable. Have only ordered to go and found the quality to be consistent in every order. Good and good quality food. They have great middle eastern staples like falafel and kebabs but there is also a great selection of egyptian dishes like koshary, molokhia stew and foul medames which are less commonly found in nyc.

Cool staff and food was amazing! Had the #5 with the chicken kabob and might I say it was quite delicious! Also you need to get the rose water lemonade! To die for. Food is fresh and the place is clean. 5 stars no question, I love Mediterranean food! They don’t call him Mr. Falafel for nothing! Great to have experienced this place!

The main reason I don’t stop in to Mr. Falafel more is sometimes when there is a line, you have to wait awhile. I believe the main reason is the online order stuff which is great when you are ordering online.(I have ordered online via grub hub) The good news is the last few falafel’s I have eaten from here captured a bit of the old glory I was looking for. The soups are always pretty tasty especially when it’s cold out.
