N-Diya

Wonderful gem in Bedstuy Brooklyn. The place is small but very clean and inviting. Even though it’s located on a very busy street you are in complete zen and relaxation during your treatments. The products are all natural and even without specials the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be going back.

I had a Living Social deal for an hour deep tissue massage. The massage itself was decent, but it wasn’t a full hour. I was summoned into the room at my appointment time, but my masseuse entered the room 5 – 10 min later after conversing with someone in the lobby. Then the massage ended 6 minutes before the scheduled end time. So basically it was a 45 – 50 min massage. And she definitely rushed massaging my right leg and arm to end it. Still a good massage for half the price though. This always happens with voucher deals, but in the end these businesses opt to offer these deals so they should honor the vouchers the way they are presented.

I purchased the Groupon massage and facial combo. I had no trouble getting an appointment unlike other reviewers. I fully expect not to get as good of service when I buy one of these deals but for $ 100 I expected better.
The massage was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I usually go to a cheap Chinese place where I get something pretty good for $ 40. But this was weak. I was under the impression it was supposed to be an hour but it only lasted about 30 – 40 min (which was fine if I was wrong). I’m almost certain the women was playing on her phone the whole time since she was only using one hand, barely using any pressure and seemed very distracted. I’m not really one to question a massage during it since everyone has their own style but come on…
I’ve never had a facial before so I didn’t really know what to expect. She used series of different natural products, a giant brush for exfoliating (think big electric toothbrush), and then a steam treatment. My face tingled a bit for a few hours after but my skin was smoother for a few days and I had less undereye bags, which was nice. I thought I’d come away with cleaner pores but that didn’t happen and maybe that was just my wrong assumption.
It’s too bad I was left feeling disappointed because the space is very nice-​small but clean and quiet (considering it’s on a busy street) and there really isn’t another spot like it in the neighborhood. I hope they step up their game and do well.

Had an amazing aromatherapy massage with Safiya; I do wish it was longer though :-(. I also had an anti acne facial. I left glowing, smelling good and well relaxed!

I was excited about a LivingSocial deal recently for a facial and a massage combined, and I bought it. When I tried to book the massage immediately though, I left two messages and called over five times all at different times of the day and was never able to get a hold of anyone. The answering machine said N-​Diya, but nobody ever answered the phone. :(

I’ve had massages all over the world and the hot stone massage I had at N’diya takes the prize for best ever. The venue is clean, warm and smells great due to the homemade products that they use. The music was relaxing without being cheesy.
I had the hot stone massage with firm pressure by Safiya and probably dozed off a few times because the hour flew by. I left there feeling like I was on a cloud. The back pain I’ve been having for the past two weeks was completely gone.
Ask about their membership deal. You need to commit to having one massage a month for a year but you get all body work at half price and a discount on their products. Well worth it.

Took my mom there and she loveeessss it. Place is small and inter mate but the smoothing sounds and the massage took my mom to another planet. Will definitely treat her again and myself.

I love this place. I gave it a shot after reading its positive Unilocal reviews and visited in April 2014 before for a Pre-​wedding facial. there was initially some breaking out because all of the crap was being pulled out of my skin.
The owner is divine, honest, and calm. I love the energy of the space. I ended up buying her skin care regimen and my skin is 90% better than it used to be. i had problematic skin with frequent breakouts before starting her line. I’m just getting used to people telling me I have great skin. And I had tried EVERYTHING.
I currently use the Tea Tree Cleanser and Grapefruit Toner. I ended up switching moisturizers for something with a thinner consistency. But I love that her products are all natural. I look forward to going back for a facial once my finances allow :)

Great hair care and facial products. The owner is very friendly and attentive. I used my buy 2 get 1 free coupon I got last summer at a festival and she still took it. So I was glad. They also have a line of lotion and body sprays. They give massage and spa services which I have to try one day.

I travel all the way from West Harlem to get massages here. Why? Because Safiya is the most talented and gifted Massage Therapist that I have ever experienced in my life. I will not have anyone else massage me now. When I stray and go somewhere else they end up damaging my body. Then I have to come back to Safiya to fix me!
She knows your body so well! She can tell what side of your body you carry your purse on based on the tension in your shoulder. She massaged away my knee pain after I injured it. I don’t know how she does it. She is just amazing. Instead of leaving in pain (like I did when I went to other massage places) I leave ridiculously loose and relaxed. It is easier for me to breathe because she removed the tension in my chest and back. It is also easier for me to dance and hoop because my muscles are loose. I also smell delicious when I leave because she uses her scented natural body butters on you during the massage.
I will never stop going here. She is incredible.

Smelled so good I really wanted to taste it… ok we’re family here right? I did taste it. Wasn’t half bad.

So i was told about this store by my best friend who lives in NYC. I went in the day that I was getting my «big chop» after a year of growing my natural hair. It was a scary day but the store owner (Olivia I think), made me feel right at home. She encouraged me to go through with it and didn’t come at me trying to sell products, rather to understand my experiance.
She was super sweet and asked me to come back after to show her the afro. I walked down the street and got it cut at a salon and of couse I cried because all my hair was on the floor. When I came back to N-​Diya, Olivia raved over my hair and made me feel so much less self-​concious. Before I left I felt compelled to buy her MAXIMIZING MOISTURE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER. Best decision ever! I used this product every single day for a year. I swear by it! It smells so good and really moisturized my dry hair. Every day that I put it in, I’d compliments from guys and girls who thought my hair smelled incredible. I’d definetly recommend this place for it’s experiance and it’s great natural products.

I love getting pampered, especially if it’s with exceptional products.
Over the years, I have seemed to develop super-​sensitive skin and adult acne… KACK! I’ve tried a couple of different products, but none of them seem to combat and kick my problem areas. When I forst came in contact with N’Diya products, I tried the moisturizer. I absolutely loved the feel of it on my skin. I even put it in the refrigerator since I loved the cool feeling on my face. I should have never stopped using it, but once again my commitment issue got in the way of me going back for more.
Today I went in the store and broke my situation down for Ms. N’Diya. She took the time to analyze my skin and recommend the right regimen for me. I left as happy as a pig in mud and can’t wait to try my new products. She also took the time to tell me that she may start a promotion for school teachers in the local area to get pampered.
