I ordered food off of Grub Hub for my brother and I. Two horchatas, one pollo burrito, and one pork torta. The burrito that came only had rice and beans. No problem, mistakes happen, I called to see if I could get what I ordered and I was met with rudeness. The woman who I talked to literally laughed at me, and said that the cook would never do that. She suggested I open up the burrito to see that she was right. I didn’t need to but I did anyways. Still not what I ordered. She laughed more and told me she has no way of knowing if I am telling the truth. I at least am getting a refund, supposedly. This socially inept woman is not someone who should be working the phone.

Great options for a cheap, easy meal but there are way better mexican food options in NYC so don’t waste your time with this one. Burritos are TINY and there isn’t much flavor in the food either. Nice décor and good atmosphere.

Mediocre tacos at a high orice dished up with terrible service. The main guy at the register was tasked with doing everything, taking orders in person, on phone, handing out tacos, etc. Even though there were two guys standing there doing absolutely nothing while my tacos sat three feet out of my arms reach. Because the cash register dude was busy I had to wait 10 minutes just to have my tacos handed to me, even though they were made and ready. Not to mention they charge 5 dollars for a can of modelo.

I discovered and frequented this location during my senior year of high school, Bedford Academy, down the block. I wanted something different and this place was it. I’ve lost count of the visits there since around this time last year and I’ve brought friends there, and referred the place to many others. Now I enjoy their 33rd Street location because it’s the closest to Baruch. I get the same quality food and service. Great Mexican franchise/chain. I’m a loyal customer and always will be. You stirred my love of Mexican food.

The atmosphere and décor here are fun and cute! The staff is friendly – they waved and shouted goodbye to me last night! This place is just a block from my apartment, so it’s super convenient for me. The prices are pretty normal for a place like this. I’ve gotten tacos, burritos, and quesadillas here, and the tacos are definitely the best. The bathroom is spacious and clean. No complaints really! Not amazing, but solid. The wait for food can be a bit long when they get busy.

The Korean taco is TODIEFOR! I’m not sure if I can order from any other Mexican places in the area now that I’ve had this taco. The chicken mole taco is also pretty delicious. I will order all of it again and soon!

If only negative stars were possible… This joint already has some of the weakest Mexican(shudder to call it food) I’ve ever had. But at the very least I thought they might be capable of delivering their sub standard fare quickly – because how long can it really take to churn out that slop? But alas, no. They’re not even capable of that. This is where I might be tempted to make some excuse for I place I gave a half a poop about – like the fact that they could actually be inundated with orders from poor Brooklynites that just don’t know better, but these guys get no sympathy. Oaxaca besmirches its namesake state. Don’t go there and definitely don’t order delivery.

I’ve eaten from this place before and loved it but got food poisoning the last time I ordered from here. I think it was the quesadilla. This is unfortunate because I did like this place a lot. Oaxaca, please double check your food process so it doesn’t happen again to anyone else.

I just had one chicken taco and I’m convinced that their food is good. If you like real Mexican flavor this is the place. I only stopped in to use the restroom but I like to support local business’ so I brought a taco. Yummy! I’m looking at the menu now. I might have take out from them for dinner tomorrow. I’m a Ny’er and I never really had real Mexican food out here. They chose the best location! The last time I had Mexican food was when I lived in CA almost 2 years ago. Also the guy taking orders was really nice and pleasant, good customer service is something we NY’ers don’t get much of. Good food and customer service; refreshing!

My husband and I went to grab a bite to eat and the cashiers were very rude and rushed us to order. The food was so tasteless and when my husband ask for salt they told him he did not have any? How can a place not have salt? WILLNEVERCOMEBACK. the food is so bland, sucks!

The first few times I got food here, I was very happy with the timeliness of the delivery. For the last few months, that has not been the case. There have been 3(dropped/lost/forgotten) orders in August alone. I called to cut past Seamless(just in case it was a problem with the site) and was put on hold until the line went dead. I called back and told them that I was being patient, but I might have to go somewhere else. The guy on the phone(rude every single time I called) asked me to do that. So I informed him that I would be leaving a negative review because of the bad service. He told me it wasn’t his problem! Honestly, I think it is the store’s problem when its customers are being charged for food that isn’t delivered and are hearing nothing but rudeness when they call in. I am done with this place. And I suggest that you do not order from here. They clearly don’t care about you.

Love this place! The whole menu is amazing. The host this evening was a little on the assertive side. I’ll let it side for a good dinner. It also seems a Like more folks are taking notice of this place, more packed than normal.

My boyfriend moved a block away, so we went here for dinner. We went here once last summer, and I loved it. Perhaps my memory is faulty, or I was drunk. Most likely the latter. We went here for dinner. I had a carnitas salad, he had a barbacoa quesadilla and chorizo enchilada. There was only a tiny amount of meat on the salad. It was mostly lettuce, I was left with a bland pile of leaves and a few beans after I finished the minuscule meat portion(along with the appropriate ratio of lettuce) The barbacoa quesadilla was better, I had a bite and it was fairly decent. The enchilada was relatively abysmal. They put all the sour cream on one half and all the guacamole on another, and the meat was bland and burnt. Very disappointing. My drunken tastebuds cannot be trusted. So sad that this place is so close but so bad.

Ok this is not about the food — which perhaps is great, this is about the service, namely the delivery policy. I was told that they deliver in a 15 block radius, which I live very comfortable within, to the east of the establishment. When I told the dude on the phone that I lived on Hancock Street, I could hear quite clearly a female respond«eww that’s the ghetto». Save to say they would not deliver to me, although I clearly fit the parameters they set. My request to Oaxaca Taqueria, if you wish to have a business in Bed-Stuy(and tout it as such) do not hire employees who harbor disgust for the neighborhood and its inhabitants. If you simply want to have the comparatively cheaper rent that Bed-Stuy offers while only servicing the«whiter» enclaves of the borough, do us all a favor and move your a** on. Apologies for the implied language but I’m so so so tired of being discriminated against in my own neighborhood. [Side note: why do all these new establishments import labor from far and wide instead of employing those in the neighborhoods they supposedly service???] xoxo

The carnitas quesadilla here is one of the best things in NYC that I’ve ever put in my mouth. Cute, friendly atmosphere — but the food is REALLY outstanding.

Been going here for a few months, it’s my go-to Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Literally, it’s delicious. I usually order the Barbacoa quesadilla. It’s amazing. Great atmosphere, decent service, and above all AMAZING food.
