Worsest service ever I’ve waited one week and still didn’t receive my delivery they said they called me twice bullshit I didn’t receive a single phone call… Beware!!! Of this place think twice before you deal with these assholes. The receptionist at the front desk was a total bitch she didn’t even look at me when I came in the front door she was miserable from the heat and not able to have her cheeseburger. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE YOU’LL BE HAPPY YOU DID.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would.
I used this company to move from San Diego to Brooklyn, based on the recommendation of a friend who had also done a cross-​country move with them (albeit originating in Las Vegas). She gushed about how wonderful and communicative the company was. However, my experience has been the exact opposite.
To begin with, nobody talks to each other. Period. The main office is located in North Carolina, and seems to have very little communication with their terminals located in various cities. I was told the San Diego terminal would contact me 2 business days prior to my move to coordinate the delivery of the truck. That day happened to be a Friday. And when Friday came and went with no call and my move on Monday, I attempted to call both the local San Diego office and the main office only to learn that, guess what! They’re closed on the weekends!
I called the main office the second they opened on Monday morning only to be told that the San Diego terminal had claimed to have attempted to contact me FIVE TIMES on Friday. Confused, I verified that my phone number was correct. Guess how many missed calls I had on Friday? ZERO.
The man who dropped off the truck gave me no instructions as to how I was to pack it. So, naturally, I packed it incorrectly. Not knowing this at the time, I asked the dispatch office to have the person picking up the truck later that day call me a half hour in advance since I was loading out of a storage unit and didn’t want to sit around there all day waiting. She assured me should would pass along that message to the driver. My pick up window was between 4pm and 6pm. 4pm came and went. No call. 5pm came and went. No call. Finally, at 5:30, I drove over to my storage unit, only to find the driver banging on the windows of the closed office of the storage unit company. No one had bothered to communicate my message.
It was at this point that he commented on my «interesting packing job». Confused, I asked what he meant. He asked me if the other driver had explained anything to me or showed me the video. THERE WAS A VIDEO I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHOWN THAT EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. I said no, and he graciously allowed me to move some things around at the last second.
Flash forward to New York. I moved over the holidays, so I understand that people were in and out of the office. On December 30^th, I called the main office to check up on the shipment and was told my items were in Tennessee. All the offices were then closed for New Year’s. On the morning of January 2^nd (another Friday) I called the Brooklyn office to check on my stuff. The guy I spoke to was apparently not the regular guy. He said he was «pretty sure» my truck was there, but that it wasn’t ready to pick up and that I should call back on Monday.
Throwing caution to the wind, I went ahead and booked a UHaul for Monday. I called the office the second they were open and confirmed that I was able to pick up my stuff that day. When I arrived at the Brooklyn office, the customer service was less than stellar. However, none of that mattered when they removed the security divider to reveal CRUSHED BOXES and BROKEN FURNITURE.
Now, I have to take some of the blame since I was the one who packed the truck (although very hastily, since I had little time to re-​do it the correct way). But that was no excuse for the state my items were in. I understand the truck drove across the country, but was it on back-​country dirt roads? That’s the only explanation I can think of for the condition of all my worldly belongings. Currently, the top of my dresser is cracked and the top of a beautiful trunk is completely smashed and caved in.
When I finally got all my stuff to my apartment, I thought this horrifying ordeal was finally over. That was when I saw I had a voicemail from the main office from that afternoon saying my shipment was ready to be picked up and if I didn’t pick it up, they were going to charge me for storage.
Thinking that the Brooklyn office would notify the main office that my shipment had been picked up (HA!) I ignored it and when about trying to literally pick up the broken pieces of my life.
Today is Friday, January 9^th. I get home from work and find a BILL in my mail for $ 395 for a month of storage. The bill is dated from 1÷5÷15, the SAME DAY that I picked up my items. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS OF ERRONEOUS CHARGES. I immediately got on the phone to the household services department to dispute this charge but, guess what? IT’S FRIDAY EVENING AND EVERYONE IS GONE UNTIL MONDAY MORNING. I tried calling the Brooklyn office, but they were not able to help me with the charge despite BEING THE ONE WHO PROCESSED IT. I even got ahold of someone in the main office, but they apparently aren’t able to help me with a claim in the household division.
THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You’d be better off leaving your boxes in the street and hoping that they teleport to your new home.
