The pizza is ok… Just ok. Every time I go in there I have to make sure to tell them to give me the«fresh slice» because if not they’ll try to stick you with the one that’s been sitting there for hours. Gross! Place is mediocre. Doesn’t have much of a variety. No garlic knots, no different types of pizza. Do yourself a favor and walk a few blocks down to 18th Ave(Pizza Den).

Last day of good pizza at joes 12÷27÷15 what a shame. Gonna miss the rice balls and egg plant slice best around. Good luck.

Pizza Plate has been on 86 Street over 30 years, that I know of, he(JOE) must be doing something right. I have been in Brooklyn all my life(Over 70yrs) and their Pizza certainly rates among the best.

I really don’t understand why anyone would write a negative review. Joe’s Pizza is the best I ever had. I know the quality of the sauce and its excellent. The squares are my favorite. Also, his chicken rolls are huge and made with fresh ingredients. Every time we go to there, I have to bring back chicken rolls for my friends. The owner Joe is very friendly and cordial. More people should know about this place! DON’T LETTHELOOKSFOOLYOU!

The pizza is always very oily with so much cheese that half of it falls off. The pizza also always has just one spot of oregano on it, usually on the tip part. Inside it is dirty with hardly any pizza variations to choose from. The chicken rolls are okay but sometimes are burnt. The only reason I gave this place a 2 and not a 1 is because of the rice balls. The rice balls are absolutely delicious and the best I have ever had. The only reason I go here is because of the parking lot and its convenient. Do not reccomend.

There are a lot of pizza options within walking distance, and it’s almost as if the place itself knows that. It’s like they know you’re too lazy to walk a few blocks in any other direction. Each time I go in there, the pizza on display looks like it was the first pizza made that day. You know, it has that several-hours-old pizza look. When you make your order and they toss it in the oven to warm up, it morphs into regular looking pizza when the grease is able to melt. Why do I keep going? Well, every once in a great while, I am too lazy to walk in the other direction. Each time afterwards, I’m cursing myself. It’s not the worst pizza in the area, but they’re not trying very hard to be the best.

You would never know this palce existed because it’s squeezed into a tiny strip mall, right next to a giant Food Dynasy. It’s one of those Brooklyn Pizza joints trapped in the late 70’s/early 80’s, nothing has been done to it in years. The most important thing about it is the oven in the back they use to cook. About 6 tables to sit and eat so there is enough space. Bought an eggplant roll and a can of Mountain Dew, cost was $ 6. It was greasy goodness! Trust this place, but only if you’re in a rush or have no desire to get to the better places in the area.
