Prospect Heights Music is a new music studio opened in the summer of 2010. The studio specializes in voice and piano lessons for children and teens, but is open to music-lovers of all ages.
Our mission is to foster imagination, creativity, confidence and personal growth through the study of music. Through active listening, music gives us an understanding of ourselves and others, as well as the opportunity to explore the world around us in a way that is engaging, honest, and inherently meaningful!

Angela O.
Business Owner
Angela graduated cum laude from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education with a Bachelor’s of Music degree and has been teaching voice and piano lessons, as well as songwriting workshops, children’s music appreciation classes, and musical theater workshops in and around New York City for ten years. Prior to opening Prospect Heights Music, Angela taught at Larchmont Music Academy, St. Luke’s School, The Dwight School, Queens College Conservatory, Lynbrook School of Music and at the NYC Department of Education.
