This is a shitty place! Scammers!!! They tried to sell me a TMOBILE sim car for $ 35 and I told him no it was only $ 25 on the tmobile website. And he said it only cost $ 25 if you buy a new phone. Then he proceed to show me a SIM card. It was a USED SIM card ! A new one will not be ripped from the actual big card that it comes with. I said no thank you and started to walk out. Then he said how much do I want to buy it for and he’ll sell it to me for that price. NO THANK YOU asshole. And the annoying ass parrot guy in front of the store, get a real job!

I’m not sure how this place has good reveiws. I went to find an apartment through this agency and was dissapointed. All I found were a bunch of children wearing sweatpants that were uneducated on the business. I was told to «buzz myself in» at the 1 and only listing I went to. I did not meet with the broker at the location. I was told to basically hunt for the super that would «probably be on the first floor somewhere». We waited for 20 minutes then left. All this office wanted was my money. I worked with Jonathon or «JB». This was a waste of time.

I will never do business with t-​mobile over here.

If u guys are dealing with these people there nothing but a scam. They will take your money for a deposit and and play a game of cat and mouse. I was extremely disappointed with them and they way they go about there business. It’s a shame when u are so called a real estate company but can’t help me find a place. Basically I learned my lesson look for someone well established n someone who works for a established firm. NEVER USE THESE SCUM BAGS!!!

About a week ago, I received a text from Lawrence asking if I was still looking for a place. I told him yes, but that I wasn’t interested in working with a broker and paying the excessive fees. He responded and encouraged me to look on the website for any no-​fee apartments and send him the reference ID. So I did. I found a great looking place in Sunset Park and was interested in seeing it. I sent him the number, and about 2 hours later, he wrote back saying it was available. We spoke on the phone discussing the apartment, and I very clearly stated that we didn’t have a lot to put down (money-​wise), so we had to be pretty picky. He didn’t seem to think this would be an issue and was very excited to help me out.
The next day, I asked if he had heard from the tenant at the place I wanted to see. He told me that he was just informed that the place was rented, but that he had another option for us. The place was over our max price, so I told him I wasn’t interested. He told me just to come see it, and if I liked it, I could put in an offer to the landlord for less. I considered this for a minute, and then I asked if it was also no fee. His response was something along the lines of «Just come see the place. If you like it, you’ll put in the offer for $ 2100 or whatever, and if the landlord approves, then my broker will discuss fees, if any». Um, no. I was very clear from the start that I didn’t want to work with brokers specifically for the fee aspect. Now he’s trying to show me a place out of my price range that more than likely has fees. I stopped talking to him at this point.
A couple days later, he texted me again asking if I’m still looking. I responded and said «yes, but please know that we cannot and will not pay fees. We can’t afford to. I don’t want to find a place I love only to find out I have to bring my life savings». As this was my biggest point the entire time he and I spoke, I really didn’t think it was a big deal. He, however, wrote back and said «I will not work for you for free. Have a good day». Now, he knew from the start I was solely no fee. He told me he had no fee listings and to check them out. But he continued to push listings with fees, and then gets pissed because I remind him I won’t pay fees. I wrote him back and told him that I had been warned about Rapid from the day I moved here and knew he was full of s**t from the start. He responded and told me that he wasn’t a mind reader and that I just wanted someone to do all of the work for me so I could be lazy and that I wasn’t someone he wanted to work with.
1) the point of a broker is that they find apartments for people.
2) he doesn’t need to be a mind reader. I was never unclear as to what I was looking for.
3) I would rather be homeless than use Rapid Realty ever again.

Lawrence and the team were helpful and intuitive in finding and delivering results. They were willing to work out solutions to find the right apartment for us.

These guys are my new heroes!!! When they say «Rapid» they mean it! It was the first apartment I looked at!
Duane was spot-​on in listening to my requests and accommodating them! Within one day of my search, not only did I find a place that was EXACTLY in the location I needed, but even had some bonus features that I didn’t even think were possible in this market! My 9-​year-​old referred to him as «AWESOME» and I agree!
Naim was fantastic in completing the business end of the deal. He exhibited professionalism, flexibility, & motivation to close the deal. Deals in NYC *ARE* high-​pressure! So that’s not a tactic, it’s reality…
I’m not sure what some of these other reviewers are talking about. I wouldn’t say they are «kids with no experience». They are younger and down-​to-​earth, sure, but so are lots of tenants. I don’t want a stuffy real estate agent, I want one I can level with and who puts me in the right apartment. These guys did that for me. IN A DAY!

I attempted to use this real estate office because they are a contact that came through TRULIA and seemed to have good listings. I was very very wrong. The boss, niame, is unprofessional and agent, Peter Chang was unreliable meeting me. They were quick to take a deposit then ceased to call me or return any calls for over a week.
DO NOT USE this office you will be unhappy with their professionalism. The office is compiled of kids that have no experience. Disregard good experiences and believe this when I tell you it is not the «real estate agents» they portray themselves to be.
I still don’t have my money!!!

My experience with Rapid Realty was fantastic. We worked with Naim-​he was professional, courteous, and best of all, he got us our dream apartment! Everything was super easy as he was knowledgeable and seemed to have a good relationship with the owners of our building. I highly recommend him and Rapid Realty!

I used Rapid to find my place in Bensonhurst and they were great. It is NEVER fun looking for apartments in NYC especially under the pressure of making a quick decision. The guy who helped me at Rapid was patient, professional and really made sure we looked at places that were right for me but more importantly for my family as I have 2 young children. Lastly, Rapid has the best inventory of listings and website for the NYC rental market by a mile. They are also everywhere when you Google them which to me means a lot.
