Roma Furniture One Corporation

I’m guessing there’s a huge pressure to make sales because I was basically accosted when I entered the store. The saleswoman followed my mom and me around the entire time we were in there and wouldn’t stop until we finally left.
The furniture seems really overpriced for what it is, but you can bargain. They sell a variety of stuff, but not a huge selection. Everything is squeezed in really tight so there’s barely enough room to walk around.

For all of you concerned about a language barrier, I assure you, there’s at least one salesman who speaks English. They have a ton of great looking furniture here, and not just shoddy Chinese craftsmanship. A lot of the more quality pieces, like the sectionals or loveseats, are either made in the US or from Europe. Pretty big showroom too. They also sell mattresses, but I don’t know if I’d trust them. Went into their store to buy a couch for my parents. Everything in the store went smoothly, but then everything went to shit after that.
The reason they’re losing two stars: we ordered on a Sunday, and they said they would be ready to deliver the next day (Monday). Then Monday rolled around and they said they found a defect in the couch they were going to send us from the warehouse. OK, understandable. Then they said they’d have it out on Thursday. My dad called them to confirm and they said it was on the truck. Then later they said it wasn’t ready and to wait for the next Thursday.
Two weeks later, the couch finally came, and not even delivered in a truck (in a van). The delivery guys were kinda douchey, but they helped set up the couch and move the old one out to the front yard.
I have to give them at least 3 stars because the couch is amazing. An Ashley Furniture L-​shaped leather sectional with 3 reclining seats. So f’n comfortable.

There’s nothing less than 1 star here and if there was I’d give this place a minus 10 stars because it is just that ridiculous.
I bough something from here expecting a next day deliver (and promised a net day delivery too), waited almost all afternoon and evening and what do you know, it never came. Called the store no answer. Called the store the next day and no answer. Called the following after that and they said they could deliver it anytime… I said can you come Saturday noon?.. yes they said. Fine that’s okay. I waited an extra 4 hours and ended up having to stay on the phone with these two delivery people to give them directions to where I live… what a nightmare. Guy finally came 4 hours later, dropped the mattress at my door and I gave him the rest of cash in an envelope. Delivery guy is a piece of trash bc he threw the envelope on the floor of my building. What kind of business acts this way?! Next time I’ll spend the extra cash for a more reliable service!
DON’T EVER SHOP HERE FOR ANYTHING!

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST STORE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM! No one know what is going on in the store, the owner himself cant make promises to save his own life! I have been dealing with this store for over a month now. paid in full like an idiot and no delivery for over a month. The owner never respond to phone calls but every time I go to the store he is ALWAYS there. Every time I confront with him he always said «I’ll take care of you» «next week it will come» one week after another, months passed still no delivery.

Part 2
So Wed is here, I’m taken off and waiting at home for them to deliver my furniture, 12pm came and gone, I called them at 1pm, asking the sale person
So you guys going to deliver my furniture today, right?
He said: Yes, because of the rain, we are running behind (by the way, is no rain, just cloudy)
I said: No matter how behind you are running, I don’t care, I will be home all day today, just make sure you bring it here «TODAY»
4pm came and gone, I called again, asking you guys coming today right?
He said Yes, yes, they’re on the way, should be there in an hour
5pm, 6pm, 7pm came
I called, no answer, I called, no answer
I know some furniture store delivery late if they running behind, so I was still hoping I will get a phone call from them, unfortunately no…
Now they are really pissing me off
I called the next day asking what happen?
You guys just decide not to deliver after I ‘SET UP’ the appointment with you guys?
Do you know I took off from my job and sitting at home all day waiting on you guys?
The Sale Guy (Sing) «ASKED ME» (Yes, I said he asked me)
What? They didn’t deliver to you?
Are you kidding me?
You don’t know?
He then said, I have them deliver to you within an hour, if you are home, I can do it right now, within in hour.
Okay, tell me I’m a fool
I asked him again, are you SURE?
Sing (sale guy) response: Yes, yes, right now, about an hour
Once again, I took off work, I went home and wait, it is now 12pm
1pm came, I picked up the phone and called asking, where the hell is your people? I am getting pretty upset here.
He said is coming, they are on their way, should be there in a little bit, I told him I cannot wait too long, I still have to go back to my office, I have a lots of stuff to do.
I waited 20 more minutes, and my limit is up, I am about to burn down the place.
I called and tell him he can go fuck him self
He said come down and pick up your money, I don’t know why is so much trouble for this job
CAN YOU ALL FREAKING BELIEVING THIS???
First of all, because of the rain, that’s why they’re running behind
My answer to you is, YOU GUYS DO THIS EVERYDAY, IS NOT LIKE YOUR FIRST JOB, IF YOU KNOW IS GOING TO RAIN, START EARLY!!!
Second of all, if your delivery guys can’t do the job right, FIRE THEM, they’re many people needed a job here
Third of all, TELL THE TRUTH, don’t BS people
I went down there immediately because I wanted to make sure I get all my money back, the owner handed me back the money
I asked: What happen? I would still like to know.
He said: Oh. Wed was raining so we are running behind.
I said: You didn’t run behind, you running NO SHOW!
I asked: What about today? I was home for 2 hours waiting on you
He asked his employee (Sing) — Who told you to wait?
Sing looked at him and said: You did, I asked if we can deliver to him this morning.
Owner turned to me and said: I can do this, if you want, I can send it to you in an hour!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
SERIOUSLY???
NO, I MEAN SERIOUSLY!!! lol
I swear to you all and god, if I make this up, I will burn in hell, I told nothing here but the truth, nothing here I make it up on my own
Now, would I recommend this?
Hm…I’m not really sure, maybe you can try and you will have a story to tell. lol
