As a professionally trained musician, producer and educator I offer lessons that awaken creativity while helping young people discover their own creative voice and talent. Children experience ways of self expression through playing piano, singing, drumming listening, creating and experiencing music. One of my strengths when working with children has been incorporating playful methods such as easy piano improvisation in order to light a musical spark. Studying songs will encourage your child to learn about melody, harmony and expression while practicing and developing his/her singing and language skills. Drumming and clapping will help awaken his/her own sense of rhythm. Using the recording studio we will record your child’s musical ideas so the family gets a CD of the recorded performances.

History

Established in 2007.

During my studies, I worked as a full time piano teacher at «Schmitt Music» a renowned music school that offers classes throughout the Midwest.

I also taught music appreciation classes at «Kreative Kare» a kindergarten in Brooklyn.

Currently I am teaching private piano classes at the «Noël Pointer School of Music» in Brooklyn. Furthermore I give private piano, singing, composition and music production classes to children and adults in my home studio.

Besides teaching I work as a freelance producer and run a recording studio.

My understanding of and passion for popular musical genres have been extremely helpful in the teaching process. My music class is intended to familiarize the children with the different instruments, musical genres and musical elements such as rhythm and melody. Most importantly it is meant to help children tap into their own creative ways of musical expression. One of my strengths when working with children has been incorporating playful methods such as singing, drumming, dancing, acting, listening and easy improvisation in order to light a musical spark at a young age.
