Spartan Souvlaki

I went there with my family of 4 plus baby for a dinner. All the food was awesome, especially the Gyro. Lots of flavor and everything was great. The only thing that lacked was the bifteki which my wife had that had no flavor at all. Other thank that the Chicken kebab was great and even the double espresso and the desert was wonderful. The Staff there was A++ they were super friendly and so nice. Maybe its because i had a baby but even so they were even more friendly to us but either way i am looking forward to coming back every few months.

Terrible service and the wait staff is rude. Three waitress ignored me when i tried to flag them down to take my order

I am a huge fan of their gyro garden salads! The gyro meat is always juicy and flavorful. Their tzatziki sauce is creamy and garlicky. I used to order lunch from them all the time and a friendly old man used to deliver the food. However today, a rude Chinese guy delivered my food. He was very hesitant to give me my change and demanded more tip. I was very taken aback but still obliged. It was very rude and will make me question whether to order delivery from them again.

This is my daughters favorite place for getting her Greek salad I’m not much of a salad person but I do get it because it is delicious and refreshing. The staff is friendly and the place very clean. I go here often for a late lunch with her it’s worth the trip.

I’m very surprise this place got such high reviews. The food is ok, not great. Service not good. It appears they don’t have their act together. The atmosphere was too bright and noisy. I couldn’t wait to get the check and get out of there.

Best Greek place I have tried and I’ve been going here for years. I love the people who work here because they are extremely nice. I remember coming here as a kid and they would give an activity sheet to keep kids busy and it was just great. The chicken souvlaki is also delicious every time I go. The fries are always crunchy. And the pita bread is my favorite here! Everything is always on point and it’s definitely worth it’s price. You must try this place if you haven’t done so already!

My husband and i were craving something different to eat so we went with greek food from here. Best choice! Gyro was delicious and so were the greek fries! Will definitely be ordering again. :)

Spartan Souvlaki is a wonderful restaurant. One of our regular weekend places when a few of us want a comfortable, simple place with good food and nice staff. Being a family operation, you get the feeling you’re dining at someone’s home. Friendly and pleasant always. I cannot comment on the entire menu because I usually order the same thing each visit. The Gyro plate with garden salad or tomato salad. Satisfying and delicious, and as you know, when you’re in the mood for gyro, nothing else will do. Try it, you won’t be dissapointed.

I was craving a good Greek authentic gyro deluxe, I’m so happy I found this place my brother in law called last minute an invited us to lunch, I’m so glad we where able to make it last minute because this place is awesome gem.
From our wonderful server Penny who introduced me to so many new things besides me just eating a gyro.
Their Greek salad was so delish I couldn’t finish, the espresso was great I also had a traditional beef lamb gyro let me tell you this thing is huge it’s one of the best gyros I’ve ever had seriously no joke. My husband had the chicken gyro he enjoyed it as well. The chicken is like chicken kabob meat but very good.
There Greek frys where very tasty I enjoyed the feta on top.
I seriously recommend this place it’s very authentic, looks like it’s a family business very friendly. Everyone was very nice an greeted us with welcoming arms.
I can’t wait to come back an pig out: D

EXACTLY what you want when you crave Greek food — fresh flavors and generous portions. The gyro sandwich is the way to go. This place is IT.

One of the best restaurants in my area. Everything tastes like home made food. Really fresh and delicious.
Their dishes are simple but soo tasty. The greek salad is like no other salad, you just eat and cant stop eating it, the greek fries are a must, having a lot of feta on and oregano, their tzatziki sauce its delicious for who likes garlic. And all the meat its great cooked and tastes fresh and delicious .And the kebabs are huge and really have a great taste .
The staff is super friendly as well

Amazing! My first visit here. My cousin brought me here, he’s a regular. I ordered the gyro garden salad. He ordered a regular gyro. Absolutely loved it! The tzatiziki sauce with all its garlicky goodness! So much food and all was reasonably priced. Going to try their 3^rd Ave Bay Ridge location the next time I’m in town as it is closer to where I stay.

Great setting for family or friends. Greek music playing and the smell of awesome food wafting! You are here for the food. The tomato salad is amazing… everything is fresh… olives, tomatoes, feta, and olive oil! The gyro pita is huge… it can feed a family of 5… just kidding! Very delicious gyro meat and the tzatsiki sauce are delicious! Everything is well priced and parking is easy to find!

Ordered the gyro with french fries. It was enormous and delicious. I love ordering the mystery meat and it always hits the spot.
French fries could have been crispier but its ok bc the gyro made up for it.
Definitely will be back.

Surprised this place is in business. Went with a group of friends and all of our food was luke warm and the service was horrible.
I would suggest to spend your money elsewhere.

Absolutely delicious greek food. You feel like you’re eating in an authentic family restaurant. Gyros, greek salad, spinach pie FRIESSSSS delish. You can tell people that go there are locals and first responders.

But that’s a good thing. I had never been there, and my friends suggested we get the gyro platter and a tomato salad. Is that enough? I wondered.
YES. YES YES YES. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable. We had the gyro platter, a tomato salad and a small garden salad, pita, and spinach pies. I am waddling right now.
