Specialties
St. Mazie’s Supper Club is the warm, intimate restaurant space below St. Mazie’s Cocktail Bar in Williamsburg. The cellar was built by Italian maisons over 100 years ago, apparent in the beautiful old stone walls and wood beamed ceiling. The menu is a wonderful array of Eurpoean comfort food such as Mazie’s Famous Porchetta For Two, generously stuffed with herbs and spices and served with roasted root vegetables, the savory Three Mushroom Risotto served with housemade foccacia, or the Fresh Steamed Mussels in a white wine and leek sauce with grilled bread. St. Charles Cellar has a full range of delicious cocktails, as well as a nicely balanced wine list to complement the food. Head down to the cellar after enjoying a pre dinner drink at St Mazie, or dine first then head upstairs to enjoy an amazing line up of nightly entertainment such as live Flamenco on Fridays or the New Orleans Baby Soda Jazz band on a Sunday.
History
Established in 2012.
Opened in what was formerly the Vutera restaurant space and downstairs from St Mazie’s Bar which serves great cocktails and drinks, in a beautiful old cellar. The cellar is also a great late night drinking den with an authentic speakeasy feel.

Business Owner
John McCormick also owns Café Moto in Williamsburg and has had a hand in designing and building many other well loved Williamsburg establishments such as Five Leaves, Maison Première and Nameless Bar. John’s inspiration for St. Mazie is drawn from Joseph Mitchel’s book «Up In The Old Hotel” — a collection of short stories one of which is based on Mazie Gordon who worked at the Venice Theatre int he 1920’s. Mazie was a big hearted brassy blonde who would feed the Bowery bums and let them into the theater to warm up– after giving them a nickle and a bar of soap to go have a bath first.
