Love subway but at this location they don’t ask you if you want it toasted they just proceed and go to toast… I don’t like it toasted and then there is always an attitude when I tell them no… Not TOASTED. I have decided not to give this location my business… Regardless of what I order I always get a better sub at other locations.

Subways sandwiches are great, but this place terribly cheap and give small piece of topping while tend to charge 2 dollars more for more. How is it that 6 inch sub end up almost 7 dollars with less low-amount of toppings? It’s completely less than what other stores give and the other stores give more toppings. I only asked for what’s on the menu. They’re being not reasonable.

One of my usual lunch spots to go to if I’m in the mood for something healthier than just burgers or pizza. The place is clean, the food fresh, and staff friendly, so that is a plus. And having been to a number of Subway locations, I can say that not all operate the same nor do they treat you the same. Such a example would be ones where they have no restrooms or ones where they just throw your sandwich together like some Picasso painting. But for this specific location, I can say that they stand out as one the few good ones.

The location is well places but the way they work is not pleasing. This is the ONLY Subway I’ve been to that gives the tiniest bits of toppings. If I were to count how many«pieces» of each topping I asked for, I would have more fingers than the total. Stingy on the toppings, always charging for more as well. I can EASILY walk down a few more blocks to the next Subway and get 3 times the amount of toppings I get over here. This happened multiple times as well, not only to me but to my family, friends, and even customers before and after me. Definitely not worth what I pay for; even the deli down the block will give me twice the amount of meats and toppings for less.

I went back recently and I didn’t like the way the owner tried to tell me how I should eat my meatball sandwich. I asked for veggie toppings and she initially refused to put any veggie on my sandwich telling me I’m suppose to eat my meatball sandwich the way it is — without any topping. She proceeded to put toppings on the 2 orders following my order. When she say that I didn’t leave or agree to eat my sandwich the way she wanted me to, she grudgingly put a few pieces of veggies on my sandwich. Its quite obvious she didn’t want to give me any veggies bc she participated in the $ 2 meatball sandwich for the whole month of December. If you are so damn cheap and do not want to let the customer have her sandwich her way — which is a trademark of Subways sandwich — then don’t participate in the December customer service $ 2 sandwich! AWFULEXPERIENCE! WILLNEVERCOMEBACK!

This is one of my spots I stop off at when my car goes for servicing. The place is big for a subways. The service is hit or miss depending on the worker. Some if the workers are quick and some still need to shake out the cob webs from being new. As for the out of service bathroom sign. That always makes me laugh as it’s usually in service but employees don’t want to clean up after patrons who claim to be adults but can’t seem to get it in the bowl. Although you are a food establishment and should always have a Working bathroom no question. This subway is maintained well and appeared to be very clean.

This is the newest, biggest and best Subway I have ever been to and since I love Subway I have been to many of them! This Subway is so spacious and has stools, booths and chairs so there are plenty of places to sit. The staff is friendly and even though many of them are rookies they do a good job with your order. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. If you are shopping on 86th street stop here for lunch!

Friendly staff, yes they have rookies here, but everybody’s gotta start somewhere… At least their rookies are careful, and they try, unlike some other places. Been here many times as this is my favorite Subways! Quality of the food is great, fresh and tasty. All around a very pleasant experience and will be back for more!

Staff here are super friendly and deserves an applaud! I wish I knew her name so I can give her a little shout out for being so awesome! haha –1 star for the food though. It wasn’t that great. I ordered the eggplant parm, which is my usual at other subway locations but honestly, I’ve had better eggplant parm.

Careful, we’ve got rookies! I came in during lunch time and I expected to be served quickly but to my surprise the line was held back by an amateur they had there running the bread and meat counter. Look I’m not one to judge what a man does for a living, it makes no difference to me but you cant put up a new guy with the 12 o clock lunch«heavy hitters» the kid just wasn’t build to take these type of orders. eventually I pulled up to the counter and made eye contact with him. I knew he didn’t stand a chance. «Listen kid, give me the usual. Italian bread, toasted, chicken breast and no cheese.» Blank stare, I could smell the panic dripping down his face. After a while you get used to a routine, I say give it a couple more weeks until the rookies get there things together.

Location, location, location! This brand spanking new Subway is a much needed addition to this stretch of 86th street! It’s a prime location because it’s near some big transit hubs in the area like the 18th avenue D train stop and the 86th street and 18th avenue B busses. This new Subway took over a spot that used to be a mom and pop pharmacy and is has a nice amount of room. They have high tables with stools and actually have some comfortable booths! The staff is friendly but you can tell a couple are new to making sandwiches because they can be very skimpy with the veggies, but i’m sure they will eventually get it! Great spot for a Subway and i’m glad it’s here! Parking is semi-tough here during drive times but you should be able to find a meter spot with realitve ease.
