This place is a hot mess when it comes to delivery. NEVERAGAIN!!!

Order through seamless. Didn’t put the dressing for my salad. I called they said they would send it. Never came when I called back again they told me it was a different shift and they know nothing about that. I will not be ordering from here anymore and I would suggest you do the same.

I have been ordering from Fuel for years. While it is not necessarily the best health food I have ever had, I am never disappointed with an order. My personal favorite is the Bison Burger Deluxe with sweet potato fries. I would also recommend their teriyaki chicken dishes and wraps and the turkey BLT with turkey bacon. Their smoothies are fantastic, and if you are someone who works out you can have protein added. The staff is always very welcoming and they have a nice interior where you can sit down with friends and enjoy a nice lunch/dinner. My only complaint was when we ordered to a friends house that was only a few blocks away it took quite some time to get there and the food was no longer hot. I am sure this was only a one time event, but it left me a little upset with the service.

As I have said in other reviews, I hate giving a subpar review, but this is with the hope that this contributes to this place making some changes. In fact, this review is slightly generous, deserving close to 2.5 star instead. The good. The Banana Nutter shake is a favorite and one of the main reasons I come here. The #51 Super Protein Plate is also tasty with bison and chicken smothered in peppers, onions, and a savory, spicy sauce. These are the only things I tend to get. I sometimes get the quesadillas but they are not that great and his is something that’s not hard to do decently. I likely wouldn’t eat here as much as I do if I didn’t work so close by. So the bad. I sometimes get a salad to try and make myself feel healthy, but that is often disappointing with beaten up lettuce and overpriced toppings. I have had many things from here which are really bad or just unsatisfying with the falafel being the worst thing I’ve eaten. The food quality is sometimes poor and the cooking is inconsistent. This place is not cheap and promotes itself as a healthy food option, but the actual food does not match these aspirations. Their recent grade pending and previous B rating are also discouraging. The people are very nice but the food is just not that great food. Go for the banana mutter or super protein plate but even these are kind of things you can find at other health food spots. I think that places like this, like Natures Grill, often suffer because their menu is too large and ambitious, allowing more opportunity for the food to be inconsistent or poor. Some place should just stick to a few things they are good at, and Fuel would benefit from that.

I have been here several times. The food isn’t the worst but it definitely isn’t the best. The best word to use is bland. I always get the chicken teriyaki and it tasted good but the vegetables are dry and not very tasty.

If I can give this place ZERO I would. The service is TERRIBLE! The lady who picks up the phone(Tara or Sara) is so rude. She completely ruined my order — I specified NOBREAD, due to a holiday I am observing and she sent me an egg sandwich and then had the nerve to ask me if I can just take the eggs out of the bread and eat it that way. I waited for an hour if not more for an omelette and juice. The management does not care about their customers and do not do anything when people complain. I’ve had problems in the past with wrong orders and have never complained because there are not many healthy spots in the area. I will never order from here again!

I had a mac and cheese and it was literally just oily pasta and chunks of dried up oily cheese. Took a bite of it and threw it out. It is definitely NOT mac and cheese. My turkey burger was ok. I like the patty but wheat bread was terrible. Everything fell apart once I took a bite. My friend had the Fuel BBQ, most of the meat pieces were burnt. He also had a bison burger. He described it as «way too dry for a burger». His food were both overcooked. Would not recommend this place.

Ordered food and it took FOREVER. The food was not only cold, but lacked any kind of taste! I’d rather have tasted cardboard with baby vomit! I’d stick to the one on Ovington &3rd Ave!

So I ordered two juices both the same drink one was fine the other however was more like a disgusting purée of left overs that I had to strain in order to be able to drink(I’ll post a pic) I paid for two juices not for one juice and a cup full of left overs!!!

Pleased to find a place close to home and the D train for a quick healthy juice meal. The Banana Nutter was da bomb. Prices were reasonable. Noticed several regulars ordering meals that looked delicious. Hmm. Instead of cooking, I think I should try going here for dinner. To be continued. ..

Don’t even waste your time ordering from Fuel, just go throw your money in the garbage. I ordered the grilled turkey over grilled veggies. The veggies were frozen, not fresh, and very over steamed. STEAMED. Not grilled. The«grilled turkey» definitely was not turkey. At least, not in any form I have seen outside of a school cafeteria. It came in a patty form, sliced, and very dark in color. The texture was rubbery, floppy, and sort of looked like cheap cat food had been molded into a patty. I made the mistake of taking a bite, which I instantly regretted and spit into a napkin. Its a shame that the two main health food take out options in the neighborhood are complete shit, because it’d be nice to have something besides pizza, sushi, or Chinese once in a while. I wouldn’t order from here again if you paid me.

To be honest, I really didn’t expect much from this place but I was obviously proved wrong. Food arrived on time and was still hot/warm. Food for 2 people. The bison steak panini was fulling; I only had ½ of it. The bison steak wasn’t dry or tough. It was also very juicy. The fuel bbq plate was also very delicious. The grilled chicken breast was not dry and the grilled potatoes was just yum. Not a fan of brown rice, but it worked. It was also served with a side of toasted whole wheat pita bread. I do plan on ordering from here again.

By far the best Health Food restaurant in Bensonhurst Brooklyn. The food here is delicious and the entire menu caters to the health conscious, they don’t use oil or fry anything, and it still tastes great. The staff and owner Ramy are very friendly, and make you feel like a friend of theirs when dining here or picking up take out. A great spot for vegetarians like myself, many veggie dishes, I recommend their veggie burgers, their air baked spicy fries and their Mediterranean plates. Or when I don’t have time for a meal their banana peanut-butter smooth is my favorite! I will be back!

Today I ordered a Kobe Burger with Wassabi spread, Fruit Salad and chicken noodle soup. The fruit salad was soggy and everything except the banana slices tasted like it was frozen and not fresh. I asked the Kobe Burger to be cooked medium rare however it also tasted like it was frozen and it was cooked well done. The soup was ok. I also ordered air baked sweet potato fries last week and they were delivered in a plastic container and were cold and soggy when I got them although my job is only 10 minutes away. Kind of disappointing…

The only thing I order from here is the«create your own» salads. I usually get my salad with grilled chicken and egg whites. Their chicken is pretty good and not too dry but their egg whites are very oily. Their delivery is kind of slow but staff is very friendly.

So they close at 11 but when I call for an order to pick up at 1015 they tell me it’s too late the kitchen is closed. Lame. I understand if it was 10501055 but 45 minutes before u close? Here’s some advice. Close when your kitchen closes. Restaurant business is to serve customers not serve your staff so they can clean up and go home on time.

This place is good, it really is. Im in here a few times a month. The cooked/prepared meals are delicious(one of my favs is the salmon mango wrap. The price is OK. Since it is health food I justify the cost. The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because they are SOOOOSLOW. Delivery time is approximately an hour plus, I live literally down the block, come on… When I go in to eat I sit down and just try and get comfortable since it takes just as long to eat inside the place. I’ve watched full shows while waiting and eating. The girls who work inside are sweet and accommodating, however, be prepared to wait 15 minutes for a juice while they make it. The owner seems affable as well, always says hi if I run into him. Overall I recommend the place if you don’t mind waiting for your food and you have no plans or plenty of time to get to work.

It disappoints me how our neighborhood spot can be so polar with the quality of their food. Super hit or miss. Ordered some today. Bison steak(side) was good as always, bison pita perfect, then a California blend side that smelled worse than it looked. Garbage. I can microwave broccoli w better results in less than 2 mins. We expect better from you guys! Stop this! Add a dollar to your prices if you have to but this is unacceptable.

So I like to sometimes try and eat health and I always love to try new stuff so walking past this nondescript storefront that I never realized was a restaurant I happened to see the words«try our Elk burger». Thats all the persuasion I needed. The deluxe deal is you get the burger, fries and water or soda for 10.50.a little steep but so be it. The burger served on a whole wheat pita was good and filling. Elk tastes like slightly gamey beef, similiar to bison. Its pretty dry though as is the concession for having so little fat, the air baked fries were good if a bit limp. The menu is quite large and my next target to cross off is the ostrich.
