They seen to have a hard time understanding basic English. I ask for a salad, they give me a sub…

The owner of this subway is scum! He barely puts the ac on to keep people from eating here. Super hot in here to eat lunch! Basically buy your sandwich and leave. I asked the guy what’s up with the ac and he smiles. Smh

What happened to this place!!! I came here a year ago & its like night and day. Not only was this the slowest service in history, with only one person ahead of me. The this place is nasty, the table tops are dirty, even when you make a comment about it being dirty, no action gets taken place. If Unilocal had a negative star i would give this a negative 10! Wost part of everything, I witness a critter problem, and clerk does absolutely nothing. Place should be shut down by health dept or get an F!!!

Really bad service due to the fact that they gave me only 3 slice of roast beef for a roast beef sandwich. At another subway’s I can get at most 6 slice of roast beef. Talk about cutting the cost, thats not the only thing that they cut corner on. They also cut corners on the preparation items such as sandwich paper and gloves. They REUSE each one of those things for customers. For the sandwich paper they make the sandwich on it and then put in on the side only to be reuse for the next customer. They also do that with the gloves that they make the sandwich for, and then toast it in the corner only to take it back out to reuse for the next sandwich.

I use to work at this subway well over five years ago so I know the amount of cold cuts each sandwich gets. When I get a sandwich made I watch them make it. And I’ve noticed I’m not the first to say this but! They short you on the meat! I got the BMT cause it’s the favorite sandwich as well as the monthly special. So I’m watching him make it and counting the slices of each meat and I noticed I’m getting shorted on my meat! I brought it up with the owner and he laughed and said«This is the special. We have to make money.» After arguing with them for awhile and causing a sense did I get my «fair share.» Also they put no effort into their sandwich after I asked for my «fair share» of cold cuts they simply throw it on top of the rest like it was crap. I seriously am thinking about never going there again.

This is one of the worst Subways I have ever been to. I normally go to ones in the city for lunch. I’m used to a lot of meat and veggies, at least a few inches piled up. This place had more bread than meat and veggies… Not good… Even though it’s $ 5 for a footlong, at least put more in it. The staff there isn’t really helpful. One as on the phone while she was preparing a sub and the other looked like he didn’t know what he was doing. They didn’t put any effort in making the sandwich. Like they didn’t give a f*ck. Take my advice and don’t go to this Subway!!!

This place has the best staff ever… true some are freaking annoying… but a few are the best, great service, absolutely friendly… i go here from time to time, and say its a good place to go and get some eats… I’d say some of the previous reviews thus far are a bit harsh.

I have read some good reviews, and some bad, all the bad fortunatley were before us taking over on 7÷15÷09. I hope to see you all eventually, and I hope you all will give us another chance! Any complains please ask for Peter or Mike we are there most of the time, unlike the old owners. Btw, we are open at 6am now serving breakfast and coffee!! Good night. Best, Pete

I’m thinking that the kids who work at Subway are kind of hoping to be fired so that they can collect unemployment. My partner went to pick up sandwiches on Sunday night, three hours before closing, only to be told that they were out of bread. Not just one kind of bread, all of them. This would be one thing if they were, say, a chicken restaurant, but you’d think that a place that serves NOTHINGBUTSANDWICHES would be well-stocked in bread. As I suspect this was a ploy to get out of serving random customers, apparently preferring to spend their time standing around with their thumbs up their asses, I was tempted to go there myself to see if I’d get the same story. This was not the first time they’ve mysteriously run out of items, just the first time it’s been something as overall ridiculous as every kind of bread they serve. Usually it’s some kind of lunch meat, and the news is given by the same slack-jawed lunkhead I always see working in there. Dude, seriously, if you don’t feel like working, just quit. I know, you’re probably reading this and thinking, «Gena, you live in New York friggin’ City, why are you wasting time on a Subway?» Well, sometimes you just want quick, cheap sandwiches that go down easy. The hassle from this particular outlet’s «sandwich artists» ain’t worth it, though. EDIT12⁄09: They’re now under new management and seem to be doing better. Changing my rating to 3 stars.

Ok, I think they’re under new management since the last review. Or the people running it were severely beaten. Something. In any case, I no longer feel like an inconvenience when I go there, like I’m imposing on the people at the sandwich shop because I’d like to buy a sandwich. The quality is still on a par with every other Subway everywhere, but at least now you get to experience it. ///Ostensibly closes at 10, frequently stops serving by 8. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. They are consistent in not serving at night, when people are most likely to go to Subway. The review yesterday says the neighborhood lacks dining options, but I’m willing to go to CI Ave for a non-chain sandwich if I get to spend my money somewhere other than Subway///
