Love, love, love this place and the people who work there are incredibly friendly! Thus far I’ve only had the Harvest something or other (can’t remember the name, but it was damned good) and the kale caesar, which was also great!

This place has great salads. Ingredients are fresh and local. But the 2 stars are for the service. At lunch time push it had two people working and a line out the door. The people working the line ask the same question over and over again like they aren’t listening. Get with it sweet green. Service counts!

Let me start with the fact that I love sweetgreen which is why I am giving it four stars. Otherwise it would be only two or three.
Positives:
The food is healthy and fresh. I have yet to experience an issue with food quality at any sweetgreen.
Negatives:
Service at this location is definitely lacking. I agree with other reviews that I don’t know where they got the employees from… But they are definitely not the best. At all. I have yet to have a truly bad experience with the service, but at the same time I feel like every time I’m uncomfortable because of the way they are handling themselves. I can’t quite put my finger on what exactly it is that is wrong, but it just feels off.
On a side note, I am on active duty and I know that at the DC locations they give a discount when you show your military ID. Once in Williamsburg they gave me one and when I was in last night the girl just kinda looked at me funny when I asked if they gave a discount and was sheepish when she said «no we don’t». I don’t really mind not having a discount, but I don’t like inconsistency, which goes back to the management and service aspect. I feel like she just didn’t know so she said no.
Anyway the food is good and I still go here often especially when in need of a quick and healthy meal.

Over salted, not fresh, waste of $$. Skip it and go to the nearest supermarket — it’s worth your extra time and effort.

I’m a massive fan of sweetgreen – the quality of ingredients, the roundness of flavors, and the seasonality of options. I want to review this location in particular because it’s the newest of the locations, in Brooklyn, and close to my home. The space is big, bright and airy, with a decent amount of seating room, and friendly staff. Everyone there is so nice and all smiles. I do find that sometimes they can be quite slow compared to the other locations, but usually it doesn’t affect me because I always place my orders online prior – so I come in for pickup. Sweetgreen is seriously one of my favorite places to have lunch.
The signature ready-​to-​order salads are pretty good, but I typically create my own – either way it usually turns out delicious. The ingredients are seasonal and locally sourced – so you can’t really go wrong. Ordering works like an assembly line: you start with your base (greens, grains, both), choose your toppings (4 included), and a salad dressing (2 included). There are also «premium» toppings that are about a few bucks extra, like chicken, falafel, bacon, etc. As winter is approaching, you can also order a stew, which comes with a salad base that you pour the stew over (also amazing!).
Sweetgreen is seriously so refreshing, and a great addition to the neighborhood!

Feeling bittersweet about Sweetgreen because I seriously wish this place was in Charleston. I went to the location on Williamsburg twice and each time the staff was sooo, pleasant. Yeah thats the word. I felt like they were glad to see me lol. if that makes sense. They were engaging and chatted me up a bit, which is memorable for a place like this because its an in and out kind of place. You cant get most people to even look at you, much less crack their windpipe to say hello to you.
The place is really beautiful. Its airy and open. The colors are pleasing and soft and bright!
Both times I got the Harvest Bowl. If its seasonal, get your fill, because this MEAL is so filling, so good, and so healthy. I felt really good eating this salad.
Kale, apples, quinoa (comes with wild rice but switched out for quinoa), goat cheese, sweet potatoes, slivered almonds with roasted chicken topped with balsamic vinaigrette. Delish sounding right?! Yeah, it is.
They make the dressings in house, and I am currently in the process of trying to smooth talk someone to give me their recipe for their balsamic v. If you know of one, or know theirs send me a message!
Good value, great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and healthy, satisfying, wholesome food – Sweetgreen is a win all around.
Now to try and figure out how to replicate that dressing…

I love you Sweetgreen. The employees are friendly and helpful! The food is so good I eat here 3x week. Why don’t you guys deliver!?! I crave Sweetgreen. I hate the drinks

Nothing beats a salad bar that provides quality, healthy and delicious salads made fast when you’re on the go — you can’t go wrong with sweet green. I often get the Harvest Salad which has kale, chicken, sweet potatoes, wild rice, goat cheese etc. it is my favorite salad by far. With ordering a salad, you get the option to add bread as well. If you order towards the end of the night, they tend to run out of fresh ingredients so you may not always get the salad or recipe you wish to order, but you can also make your own salad with any of the ingredients.
Ultimately giving this place 4 stars for the not so great service I have received here lately. The staff seems is pretty inattentive and more often than not, half of them are texting on their phones behind the counter and socializing with each other while customers wait in line to order and are ignored. Hope this doesn’t continue to be an issue and the service turns around.

What a nice little find! The Mr. and I were in the neighborhood waiting for another restaurant and the wait was seemingly never ending. We decided to cut our losses and see what was around… behold Sweetgreen!
The décor is cute and welcoming. You can sit cafeteria style or at a cozy table for two (appreciate the choice).
For a lack of a better description it’s basically like a Chipotle for healthy salads! You can choose from a pre-​designed menu list or you can do a build your own. I went with a pear and apple salad (SO GOOD) and my better half (awe) decided to forge his own path and choose as he went down the line.
Note to future salad goers… they ask if you want your dressing light, medium, or extra… the medium is a lot. I do wish I had said light. Salad was still amazing but with a little too much dressing. Oh — they also have a lot of unique salad dressings… jalapeño cilantro lime dressing… YES PLEASE.
The drinks were also great. Creative teas and juices with zero calories and fun flavors and then a few more sweet options with a little sugar.
The lunch was perfect and we would highly recommend!

Best salad place in the world!
I’ve had my fair share of Chopt, Fresh & Co, Just Salad and others, but nothing tops Sweetgreen. I especially love the Roasted turkey, sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts salad which is a season option from Sweetgreen.
This location is really nice and the staff is friendly. There is a usually line, but they move pretty fast.
I wish there were more Sweetgreen locations so I could have it more often.

Amazing choice if one looks for a good and healthy lunch.
Service is fast, place is cool.
They offer wide range of salads, and you can also combine one to yourself.
The Guacamole salad was good, whereas the Harvest Bowl was not less than divine.

Best salads ever! Everything of course is organic and the best part of it all its healthy!!! The lentil chickpeas soup is one of my favorite and the lemon freca I’m addicted to. It can get pretty packed during lunch hours so definitely feel free to order your salad online. They have an app which is what I use to collect points and to order as well. I usually make my own salad. They always have enough avocado and unlike other places give you just enough. If you decide to pass by, they make your salad pretty quick.

Sweetgreen makes the most perfect kale Caesar salad I’ve ever had. At one point I was having lunch here everyday. Kudos to the manager, at least I think he’s the manager, I’ve seen him encouraging and motivating the staff and he seems like a great leader. I’ve also witnessed the staff deal with less than nice customers very gracefully. Although it’s just a salad, the service and care that goes into making it is what keeps bringing me back!

One of my favorite salad bars in NY! I love their options, I’m such a big fan of their location and I think the atmosphere is very chić and fun!
Their freshly squeezed juices are always hydrating and refreshing!
The salads are fresh, the dressing options are plentiful and there are options for everyone.
The staff is nice & attentive as well :)
I highly recommend going here and munching on some salad and keeping it light, fit and healthy!

Awesome, but pretty pricey salads!
I had the Guacamole Greens and added goat cheese, but so many of the options looked enticing. The combination was perfect, and the salad was actually filling. Surprise! The chicken was really good, and tasted fresh, especially compared to other salad places. They give you tons of avocado, and the fresh lime juice was a great touch.
I’ll definitely be visiting again!

«You should give them negative stars,» my sister said. After explaining how this was not possible, I agreed with her disappointment in this place. To begin, ordering is annoying because the menu is blocked by everyone standing in line. Then when I ordered my salad, I watched it being made alongside two others at the same time and by at least four people. It made me anxious to see the worker grabbing all different ingredients, thinking he was messing up my salad only to soon see it was going in a different one. There was so many different people’s hands flying all over that a pair of tongs was dropped on the floor and a scoop of hummus was passed around only to be put back in the bowl after finding out no one needed it. It is SO disorganized it’s ridiculous.
After it took four people to make my salad, I took my wild child bowl and ran out of there. It was pretty good but I wasn’t able to taste the spinach because the entire salad was drenched in dressing. My sister was angry with her salad as well; one reason being they had no almonds left. And they had no other nuts to substitute for it. I also disliked that the to-​go bowls were placed in the metal mixing bowls. At other salad places, I usually see the lettuce put straight into the mixing bowl and then back once it’s mixed. But this place doesn’t care about cleanliness and just puts everything in the mixing bowl. And lastly, do they always give you burnt bread?

This place is the bomb! It really is the best salad place around and in fact one of the best places to get a quick healthy bite in the area.
One of the things that distinguishes sweet green from other solid players like Chopt is that they actually cook the food there in the open kitchen. So for example, the chicken that they use comes out of a pot that is on a stove and is warm and the chicken is moist and actually has flavor.
Another thing that sets them apart is that the people who work there actually give a shit about what you think of the food. So for example, they are doing a collaboration with blue Hill right now or they have a special salad that is made with «leftover» ingredients called the Wasted Salad. These are all of the vegetables that are too imperfect to be put to commercial use but still taste amazing. The guy gave me a sample and asked me earnestly what I think of it. When I said I wanted to get something else (don’t get me wrong, it was good) he went to great lengths to recommend the right salad to me. And at the end when he was ringing me up he asked me again sincerely to let me know next time I come in what I thought of the salad I ended up going with.
My salad was delicious; everything was fresh and tasted great. I woke up this morning after eating there yesterday and really wanted to go back.

Very nice place! Crazy tasty salads. Fast service (even if it’s busy), affordable prices. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that place! Earth bowl red tie are my favorites in here!
Food is very full filling, good alternative for a great lunch in Williamsburg!

Best salad place in Williamsburg.
This place is very spacious, which is rare. It feels a bit like a market, with plenty of space to sit and an open kitchen.
The veggies are mostly organic and fresh, the staff are great, and the line moves quickly. I particularly like that they list a bit about how they locally source the veggies. Veggies are sourced seasonally.
It’s also very light, which I like.
