I don’t give a f*ck what other people gotta say. best authentic Mexican burrito I’ve ever had. Period hands down, no bs… this place hit the spot and it did not destroy my pocket! Margaritas are good even when their bad… lol!Happy 5 de Mayo!

Terrible Burrito… Don’t Do it! Just don’t! I’m sure other things are better… Burritos should be wrapped in aluminum when completed and be held in the hand not packaged in a to go container. They should have taste too rather than just bland rice with black beans and random zucchini bits. I read other reviews and didn’t want to believe a burrito could be this bad, but alas it’s true. Too bad this could have been good because they are so close to me!

I came here last night in expectation of drinking one pint of Mother’s Milk, since I had already eaten. Unfortunately however, the Mother’s Milk was removed from the tap and replaced by Negro Modelo. I’ve only seen MM here, so them letting it go hurts them much because I didn’t think of this place as a place for great Mexican food, but a place for affordable drinks off tap, specifically this one. I ate here last time and remember it to be okay, but in Park Slope or Sunset Park, you need to be better than okay to be successful with Mexican Food. Also they charge extra for chips and other pithy things that don’t make any sense. The atmosphere is just off; I don’t get it. I like the architecture and the size of the room, but everything in it is strange. The table we sat at had promotional pictures and posters from the movie«Grease» which I thought was odd. The waitress is nice and sweet, but all of a sudden she slaps you with a $ 1.50 charge for an extra small bowl of chips. This is a place you don’t want to get into a committed relationship with because just when you think it’s going good, you get bitten; making you confused.

Best Mexican I’ve had in NY so far. That’s not saying a whole lot since I’m comparing it to LA, but still, it’s damn good. Extra stars for delicious thick, rich, lovely mole. And the prices are just right. Love the laid back almost abandoned vibe. This is a great sort of undiscovered stretch of the Slope. Staff is always super sweet too. Check it out and keep them in business.

Pretty solid burrito, and mighty big. I was a tad disappointed that they charged me $ 1 for a side of jalapeño in my order from seamlessweb, and all I got were 3 small pieces, good for about ¼ of my burrito. Still, overall a thumbs up.

I’ve been here a few times, and have always been unimpressed with the food. It seems like the kind of place that should be good, but it never is. How do I keep getting fooled? The meat is pretty bland. And they don’t do a good job preparing. Bones do not belong in burritos. Burritos should be big, zesty and maybe even kinda messy. This wasn’t any of those things. The tacos were also uninspiring. Too bad. There are plenty of other Mexican joints in the area. I suggest checking one of them out.

you know those crazy vegan friends you have? the ones that you can’t ever go anywhere with since they won’t eat delicious things like cheese and sour cream? well you can take them here! nice little place with tons of choices for vegans and carnivores alike. kind of average mexican, but the ability to please everyone make this place kind of special

Best burrito I’ve had since arriving from LA10 months ago… That said, I will continue on my quest for delicious Mexican food. We tried the super enchiladas w/o cheese and the bay burrito. They were large and tasted fine, nothing special, but not bad. The waitress was pleasant and the décor was festive for the Cinco de Mayo holiday.(Think free key chains and giant blow-up beer bottles.) If I can’t find better Mexican food elsewhere on the Slope, I will be back.

First of all, food aside, the two people I talked to on the phone and the delivery guy were all really nice. I’d almost forgotten what it was like to interact with food service people that aren’t just civil, but engaging and friendly. The food could have been terrible and I’d give them another chance based purely on customer service. The food was very not terrible. We called first to confirm that, yes indeed, the taqueria and torteria are different places, and have to be ordered from separately. Both places have quite a few vegetarian/vegan options. The spinach burrito was great, a lot richer than I expected. You could actually taste a little of the char on the shrimp in the shrimp burrito and it was delicious. I got spicy pork/mole enchiladas, which were kind of a big muddled mess. They definitely tasted good though. The horchata is on the very sweet side, the tamales were better than average. The meal came with chips, a container of avocado, cilantro and onion salad, and another container of those same ingredients blended together into liquidy guacamole. It was all tasty.

Pedro’s CalMex burritos are the best! Thought we had lost his awesome cooking at the demise of Healthy Henrietta’s in Brooklyn Heights. Glad to have him in Greenwood Heights. Whether you eat in or take out(we have delivery several times a month) you have to get«D.F.‘d»

So thanks to the market up the street, I’ve kind of become obsessed with this organic nut brown ale they sell in six-packs. As I was walking to my BFF’s place in Sunset Park the other day, I happened to see a sign outside that Taqueria D.F. happened to have to very same ale ONTAP. Awww yeah. Uh, detour. Sorry BFF, I’m gonna be a little late. I’ve meant to review Taqueria D.F. before– really I have. But hiiiiii, nut ale! My reviews are now revolving around your presence. They then proceeded to give me a massive frosted mug of it for $ 3.50(and a kick-ass cheese-and-bean quesadilla for $ 4). And I walked away remembering why I love the living hell out of Brooklyn.

Yummy! What a winner for seamless. I had the veggie quesadilla, which was more like a veggie burrito with lots of cheese. But I don’t complain when the cheese comes a-melting down. The nachos were super cheesy too, and delicious! The guac here is neat, they put some cilantro in it I think? Overall was very good. My roommie got the vegetarian burrito and said it had some odd items in it, like cauliflower. Points for creativity, maybe not so much for taste. The delivery was quick n easy, just the way I like it. Kudos.

I finally found a decent Mexican place in New York. My friend and I had giant burritos that were as tasty as any I’ve had in Mexico City. The sangria was allright, but nothing to write home about. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, skip Pinche Taqueria and Chipotle. Taqueria D.F. is where you want to go.

Okay, the burritos are good, but a $ 6 «frozen margarita» should probably have alcohol in it. Or at least a «BYOB» message on the menu. You’ve been warned.

Just updating because I can. I went there the other night for dinner with my friend before I moved out of my apt nearby the next morning. We had sangria(I’d skip it, it was red wine with lemon slices in it) and she had a ginormous burrito while I had the bistec con salsa verde. We were both starved so it was even more delicious! Main reason I wanted to update was because I had said I would update on the décor. There weren’t any Cinco de Mayo decorations left on July 30th! Waitress was great again, and there were more people than just us in there that night, which was a good sign since it was a Wednesday at 8pm. I will miss the giant burritos :(

Mmmmmmm… Cactus Burrito. I love this place and I love the fact that the owner has«Tacoman» on his license plates. This is a cool place to go and have close to what I think as authentic Mexican food. The service is pretty fast for carry-out orders and since its a block away, I really never have a problem getting a yummy burrito when I want it.

The burritos here are so good! I used to live across the street and it was so nice to have a really good mexican restaurant right there. The margaritas suck balls to say the least, but the burritos are fantastic!

YUMMY burritos! WAY better than Chipotle. The people who work here are awesome and the food is so good. The delivery unfortunately takes forever, so I would recommend just going there. If you’re in the area, stop by.

These Baja-style burritos are affordable, delicious, and in addition to getting burritos, you can have an excellent watermelon ice, which does NOT have added sugar and IS really delicious. Also, they deliver, which is great for when it is winter and you are too lazy to walk and pick up your own damn burrito.

This was my initial 3 star review: I got takeout, I didn’t love it. The chili was good, guacamole was awful… everything else was ok. I’ll probably go back because it overall wasn’t terrible, but i’d never go there for a nice dinner out. This is my review 10 months later: I love their pork tamales. I search everywhere for good pork tamales and these are fabulous. I also love their chicken flautas and their veggie chili. This went from being my least favorite place in the neighborhood to being a Gina standard. Also, while I’m full of love, I have to comment on Rachel, the bartender/waitress their who is ridiculously funny and very helpful. Guacamole still blows.
