The Brazen Head has 15 craft beers on tap, 1 cask beer at all times, killer cocktails, excellent wines by the glass or bottle, a large selection of single malt scotch, and an extensive American bourbon, rye and whiskey menu, all at very reasonable prices.

Now you can enjoy any of our draft and cask beers at home. Bring in your own growler and we’ll fill it for you. you’ll get 4 pints for the price of 3. For all those workaholics who like to come to a bar and work on their laptops, The Brazen Head is now Wi-​Fi accessible.

Established in 2000.

The Brazen Head has been serving Brooklyn since 2000. Our mission is to provide a haven for people of all alcohol preferences to have a place of refuge. For over 14 years we have helped people get a little wiser and bit more free, we look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.

Meet the Manager

Lou S.

Manager

Lou Sones not only is the Managing Partner of The Brazen Head, but also a working Actor. He can be seen in all 3 Law & Orders, 5 seasons of OZ as Steve Dawkins — head parole officer and the movie «The Interpreter. For 35 years Lou has worked on stage in Regional, Dinner & Children’s theatre.

Lou is also a proud resident of Red Hook and for the past 14 years has been a neighborhood activist fighting for environmental justice, affordable housing and the general revitalization of Red Hook. But he is most proud to have been a Red Hook Little League Coach for the past 6 years.
