What a terrible, unprofessional service/​experience I had with this company. I had a dresser that was delivered with a scratch across the top, informed the delivery guys, they documented it on the purchase invoice, told me to call customer service. When I opened the box that the mirror was delivered in, the framing to the mirror was broken. I called them and they told me to send them pictures and they would review. Never got back to me. I called again and they attempted to send me another mirror at least. Never mentioned anything about the bureau. Well the second mirror that was delivered was also broken. It was never replaced, I paid to have the mirror repaired and when I told them they offered me a $ 40 refund. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I am still shocked that I had this type of experience purchasing Ashley Furniture.

This place has the worst customer service on the planet! Called in prior to ordering telling them what we were looking for. Gave information to us that was totally incorrect. Items came in damaged, missing hardware, doesn’t even fit the description we were given prior to the order. The girl says today that we are stuck with the items. We’ll just have to see about that.

Let me tell you as how disappointed I am to your service. I originally purchased a product from you on February 2, 2015 (order no. 20 056 240) for a Vennilux Vintage Casual Bisque Door Accent Cabinet. I was originally thinking of getting two of this but I decided to just get one to try your service first. I was thinking that if my order goes smoothly, then I will order the second product again. The first order arrived smoothly after one week. So I went ahead and did my second order on February 10. The second order arrived, however, the product was almost entirely damaged. I reached out to your customer service on February 20 (the same day that I received the product) and I sent pictures of the damaged parts to Debby Jacobs, one of your customer service representatives. Instead of sending a brand new product to replace a product that was sent to me that is almost entirely damaged, your customer service said that I just accept replacement parts. I accepted the offer since I wanted to work with you on resolving this matter and also I did not want to go through the hassle of packing and unpacking again since I am a very busy person. In exchange for that, I was offered a partial refund. This arrangement was agreed on February 29, 2016. I have followed up on March 6 on the replacement parts and I was told via email that it should be shipping soon. I followed up again via email on March 16, and I was told that Ashley should be shipping the parts by the following week (week of March 21). On March 21, I called your office and I said that I need the product shipped to me by Friday (March 25) due to some schedule that I am trying to meet. I was told that you will work on it. I even said that if the replacement parts will not be shipped to me by that Friday, just ship me a brand new product and you can take back the partial refund that you gave me. I have asked for a return call that day and nobody called me. Every single day that week, I called and asked for return call, but still nobody returned my call. I was told that you will work with Ashley to have the replacement parts delivered to me that week. Until on March 23 (Wednesday), I called again and I was told that the replacement parts will not come until the following week again. It has almost been a month since this hassle started.
This was very unacceptable to me. I have worked with you on resolving the issue despite that fact that you sent me a product that is almost entirely damaged. In the first place, I could not believe that you sent me a product that is almost entirely damaged. I had plans that will require the product on time but even with the replacement parts, did not come in time for such plan. You screwed my plan and you have given me so much hassles. You ignored and took for granted my issues not understanding how important for me to get this product on time. I will never ever purchase a product from you again! You don’t know how to provide customer service well. A simple return of my phone calls would have been nice. Every day that I called, I requested that you call me back the same day to update me after you talk to Ashley, but nobody called me back. I have asked you to just sent me a brand new product if you are having a problem with shipping timely the replacement parts but one of your customer service personnel said that you did not do that since you «thought that Ashley can still ship that Friday.» This was so much hassle that you caused me. Also, one thing that I noticed about your customer service is that one day would passed before a simple question can be resolved. If I don’t follow up via phone, nobody will get back to me even if I asked for a return call. I hope that you take action on this and teach your people how to take care of your customers.

Terribly misleading on everything. Ordered a table for a house in MN in early February and didn’t hear anything for 2 weeks so I reached out to them regarding my order. Apparently when the website says «ships in 2 weeks» they don’t mean ship to you, they mean the shipment to their facility THEN you have to wait for it to trucked across the country to you. I also asked about delivery because this is a 2^nd home and we live out of state — said we could schedule delivery for when we are there… Well delivery was set for tomorrow, we are not there. I called the delivery company and they said they can’t guarantee a delivery date — it’s only an ‘on or after date’. We also cannot pick up from the hub because the hub is in Iowa.
So now we have no idea if we will ever get our table. Feels incredibly sketchy that none of this is disclosed even when the correct questions were asked.

I had no issues from start to finish so there isn’t much to add. I read many negative reviews so I felt I needed to add our experience since many typically only put negative reviews and don’t report their positive experiences.
The Dominator sofa was out of stock when ordered but shipped exactly when listed on their site. Received in flawless condition with virtually no signs the packaging even touched anything during shipment. AM Trucking was pleasant when they arrived but their job was over quickly as we opted for curbside delivery. Since we can still easily lift the couch ourselves and have French Doors to make the entry even easier, we didn’t go with the white glove service.
I’m rating The Classy Home itself with this review and understand some have overlapped their reviews of the site/​company with the quality of the furniture itself. I will be reviewing/​rating this specific sofa elsewhere as this is not the appropriate venue since they are not the manufacturer.
For added context outside of my rating and site review, we bought a $ 300 sofa which lists for up to $ 800 elsewhere. This was to replace an expensive sofa which was destroyed by our two young children and we were looking for a cheap replacement which could serve as a throwaway, if needed. The Dominator by Ashley Home Furniture met out requirements for dimensions and we read many reviews on the durability and overall satisfaction of previous/​current owners. We are pleased with the quality for the price and we are thinking of getting a second for the basement play room!

Went online looking for a specific king size bed for my room. This place had it at a great price (very competitive pricing) and was glad that they had it in stock. Ordered it and got a confirmation I will receive a call for delivery within the next week. And they did call me within the time frame specified. I requested a late delivery since I would be working and they said they will try their best but no guarantees. Delivery was made at 10 min to 5pm the next day they called me. I was extremely happy to receive it. Now when I read the original reviews for my bed it said that the headboard was extremely complicated to put together and it was flimsy. I took a chance because I really love the bed. When it arrived it came in two big pieces which the delivery guys helped bring it inside my house. When I opened it the headboard was already out together I just needed to but the side and end pieces on. Extremely easy and directions were clear and the best part of it was the headboard is absolutely a beauty! Not flimsy AT ALL! Great design and functionality! I’d definitely buy from this place again. Their timing and customer service is great!

WARNING! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM «THE CLASSY HOME»!
I have been in a battle with them over the purchase of a brand new sectional for months now to no avail. Received the items in what I would consider absolutely destroyed condition. Immediately notified them of the slices in fabric, tears in seams, missing pieces, the list goes on…
Their response? Oh, they can send a random technician out to repair my «brand new”(I put in quotes, as I’d expect better quality from used CraigsList sofas) furniture.
Would you spend thousands of dollars on «new» furniture to turn around and have someone come out to repair it upon delivery? I would consider that «used» or «refurbished» if a «new» product requires immediate repairs, before you’ve even set it up!
I see no end in sight & have had their dilapidated «furniture» sitting in my basement for months, but they will not pick up. I have never had such an issue with a merchant in my life. I will be contacting the BBB, followed by Ashley Furniture next & then quite possibly filling in small claims court over this absolute nightmare.
I can’t say this strongly enough, their pricing seems impressive, but when you receive someone else’s used furniture, that they’ll send a technician out to reupholster upon delivery, yeah, what a joke!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service is terrible. I cannot get a straight answer from them why I have been waiting for 5 weeks for a twin bed! I ordered a mattress and headboard for my 4 year old and have been waiting and waiting and waiting. They keep saying, «it is now coming available,» whatever that means. I should have read the other reviews here first. I am already anticipating a damaged headboard. Tried to support local business but I think they running a shady business. Do not use them!

Ordered a Magnussen coffee and I must say its beautiful. Everything came up impeccable. No scratches nor imperfections. Table is beautiful, I get compliments on it all the time. The only downfall is that Classy Home did take almost a month to deliver. I was kinda nervous because I was reading a lot of bad reviews saying their stuff was arriving damage and what not. From my experience, everything arrive excellent no complaints here. But after reading reviews, read that they won’t refund you if the item is damage that’s a no no for me. If that’s the case, I don’t think I will order from them again, hope that’s not that case though. Correct me if I’m wrong. Overall, I’m happy with these guys, they delivered my table in pristine condition.
Marking down a star because it literally took more than a month to get delivered.

Wish I read all previous reviews earlier and I wish I could give ZERO stars. I ordered 2 complete bedroom suites from Classy Home online and my order status said Processed for over a month. Finally when I received the furniture 38 days after I placed the order, the 4 drawer chest for my son was completely trashed. All four drawers hung by one side and there were cracks and broken pieces on the top and bottom of the chest. It was obvious that the chest was wrapped and packaged that way before it ever shipped to me because I found the chipped wood in the top drawer. My husband could have bought parts to fix the drawers but there was no way to repair the cracks and broken wood on the frame of the chest. Don’t waste your time on the rude girls at customer service, mainly Tzipi who was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered during a customer service call. When I asked for help or to speak to someone else she would just interrupt me and talk even louder. I was told I would get a call back by the end of the day so I got to speak with her when I called back an hour before closing time and she insisted that the claims department will email me back when they know something and she could not transfer me to anyone else. I called back and spoke to someone else and I’m still trying to get this resolved! Stay away! Trust the other reviews. This is obviously not a freak instance. This is their way of working.
Update– The customer service rep I spoke to after I hung up with Tzipi was able to give me a full refund for the chest. They will NOT accept returns or pick up damaged furniture so be aware that you are stuck with it if you have a problem with your online order whether it was their fault or yours. I also received an email from Tzipi offering me a $ 30 credit to remove this review.

Wish I had read the other reviews prior to ordering. Similar to other reviewers, my experience with this company and their customer service has been horrible. Ordered a bedroom set in September and a month later still didn’t have an update on the status. Tried to contact customer service and got a message about them being on holiday (similar to other reviews). Received an email saying the item was on backorder from the manufacturer (again, like other reviews) and that it would be sent in November. Went ahead and ordered a bed suit from another company and notified the company to cancel my order. Magically, I received an email saying they couldn’t cancel because it had already shipped but offered to charge me over HALF the price of the item to bring it back and restock it. NUTS! The customer service reps are not professional, friendly or helpful. Dealt with Molly and Debby, both of whom raised their voices, cut me off and spoke over me during each conversation. Will NEVER use this company again. Like another reviewer said, sometimes you get what you pay for.

Great company! Easy online ordering, brilliant customer service, prices unbeatable! Had my Avery Home Elegance dining table delivered this morning in a perfect condition without scratches or missing parts. Good job Classy Home, I’ll be ordering from you in future again!

2 Stars states «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» from Unilocal.That’s pretty much how I feel. The price was good for what we got BUTTTTTTTT there was nothing but problems from there. They used AM Home Delivery to ship items and they are horrible to deal with, and we tried to contact The Classy Home but oddly they were on «holiday» all last week. I initially called September 29^th and they said they’d be out 1 day. (Btdubs, here are the holidays listed for that day: Confusius Day, Happy Goose day, National Coffee Day, World Heart Day, Broadway Musicals Day, National Attend your Grandhild’s Birthday Day…). So whatever, they’re playing hooky… so we call the next day, same line, «we are on holiday until next week». So their customer service is non existent to me. We eventually worked out a compromise with their delivery company (which is also in brooklyn btw… coincidence??) and everything came. ****Caveat, we have not opened furniture yet as our house is having some renovating done, so I will update if there’s a problem with furniture. You get a «good» deal in terms of $, but you get what you pay for, for sure. We won’t use again.

We bought the Maribel Kingsize headboard and 2 bedside tables recently and were very impressed with the ease of ordering from the website and how quickly the shipment arrived. The pieces were exactly as shown on the website and well constructed. We were extremely please with the pricing, and the fact that we were unable to find anything even close to what we were looking for at local stores, this made the purchase even better. Our experience was very favorable and we would not hesitate to purchase again from The Classy Home.

I bought a sofa sleeper from the Classy Home because its price was lowest with shipping, even though I’m on the west coast. Everything was delivered on time and as expected. However, I had a warranty problem when part of the frame broke. I contacted Julie in customer service and she was amazing. I was authorized to have it repaired locally and be reimbursed. After the repair was done, I sent the invoice and check I used to pay, and the Classy Home deposited the reimbursement in my PayPal account the following day. So the initial purchase and the follow-​up customer service on the warranty were fantastic. I’d order from them again without hesitation.

We ordered and vanity set on line and in the photo it looked antiqued, When the item arrived it was pure white. We didn’t received the mirror that was ordered. We were contacted right away by the company and they said they had a mix up in shipping. They sent out the matching mirror within a week. When we received the mirror and put everything together the back leg of the vanity broke at the base. The wood was rotten inside the hole were the it screwed into the leg. Classy home was notified and they said they had to contact the manufacture. They would let us know if they could send out a new leg to fix the issue. Within two weeks we got the new leg. With in a month the leg on the stool as now broken off at the base and is also rotten, We have contacted Classy homes and they again say they have not manufacture warranty on their product. hhhmmm… You would think that someone who says their product is great should back up their words! Well we have since contacted our CC company and have a dispute on the charges and The Classy Home thinks just shipping out a new leg to the stool is going to cut it! BS! We have asked to have a box and call slip shipped out we do not want crap furniture in our home! They have yet to respond. We purchased the item in August it is now November!

I am an Internet customer and new fan of The Classy Home furniture. I knew exactly the chair I wanted and it was priced $ 300 more on other websites so after much research, I ordered from The Classy Home.
The shipping was reasonable and took 10 days. My chair arrived packed so well, it wouldn’t have broken if it were a teacup. The wooden parts and corners were reinforced with layers of cardboard and the whole thing was wrapped tightly in plastic.
It was exactly what I wanted, in perfect shape, and a great price. I’ll be buying more furniture from here in the future.

Horrible service!!!
I ordered a couple of tables and received an email from the vendor saying they had cancelled me order. No explanation, NOTHING! Only when I called did they tell me the item was discontinued by the vendor. It would have been nice to get that information from them as opposed to chase it down. Further they told me that the credit card charge would be refunded in the next 10 business days. Thanks for taking my money and your crappy customer service.
I have no idea why a company would even bother to list items they cannot sell. I should have come to Unilocal to see that they were not trustworthy.

It has been one year since purchasing a bed set from classy home, and because I believe in giving time to resolve a situation, I have not posted my experience until today.
We ordered the Parisian bedset, paid for the best shipping method they offered. Pieces arrived cracked and the inside base was cracked as well (both mirrored glass and wood). Glue was stuck to the sides of one of the bureaus.
Lastly, the headboard was incorrect.
After 5 months of speaking with a disgruntled and defensive employee named Molly, we kept the original headboard and were sent a second incorrect headboard.
Still working on resolving with her and hoping that somebody from their company is able to correctly resolve this. The headboard we want is still available on their website which is the worst part.

Surprise surprise. I just got my delivery today and have no complaints about this place.
I ordered a bed and sofa from these guys after a different furniture company cancelled on me saying the stuff i wanted was out of stock. I had to find a replacement bed and couch and all the internet reviews like Google n such gave it a high rating so I went with The Classy Home. After I ordered, THEN I saw the Unilocal reviews (which of course, I rate higher than everyone else’s) and went EEP! But since I’d ordered already I decided to cross my fingers and pray everything went ok. Because they had the couch the previous place said they couldnt get me. And it did!
My delivery estimate was within 2 weeks of placing the order. They charged my card prematurely and I emailed asking if it was company practice to charge the customer’s card before the item ships out. They responded the very next morning apologizing but confirming that yes, thats how they work and thanked me for my patience. So don’t get alarmed, that’s just how they operate.
The website said scheduled to ship out between ⁸⁄₂₉ and 8/​30, and ⁸⁄₃₀ they called saying the furniture would be delivered that Sunday. COOL. Because I was expecting to have to take off from work to wait for it.
This morning, 10am, ring ring, we’re be there in 5 minutes. And they did. I shelled out for White Glove Silver, so they brought everything in, up the stairs, 3^rd floor walkup, assembled it all, no damage anywhere. Godsend.
Everything looks great, sturdy, and I’m loving my new digs. Soo, I think I trust The Classy Home now and may shop with them again. Hopefully this transaction with them is not the anomaly.
