We love going here! Both my 8 month old and 2 year old love it here. Luke delivers some excellent classes and always handles the craziness very very well! Marika is excellent too. We will miss them both when we leave NYC soon

This place is great! My daughter is a handful and all the teachers have been beyond patient and encouraging. Now my daughter squeals with delight when I remind her about her weekly class. She began the semester requiring constant redirection and supervision but after 20 weeks of classes she eagerly follows the routine I am so proud of her and quite impressed with how great these young teachers are with the children. The structure of the classes is perfect for my child and I highly recommend the Little Gym, Brooklyn Heights

Beware! I walked into the gym to try a free class and was told this location doesn’t offer them and that I could sign up to an intro 3-class package($ 100!) and try ONE class with my then 10 month old and that if I felt she was too young I can come back in a few months when she’s older and take the other two classes. If after taking the other two classes(months later) I liked the experience, I can then sign up to the whole semester. I called to see if I could now come in for the remaining two classes and the woman on the phone was VERY rude and said basically«no one ever said that to you, you should’ve read the fine print, sorry for your confusion but you can’t take the remaining two classes anymore and if you’d like too sign up to a full semester I can throw in a few make up classes» !!!(Which are included) I tried to explain that an employee at their gym told me otherwise and she said I must be mistaken. I asked to take the two classes again, in order to see if my daughter enjoys the experience, she said no. I asked for a refund, she said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she blew me off and said she had to run! THISISTHEFT in my opinion. I will wait till end of day to hear from someone, but I doubt I will. This is not a customer oriented company and is more like a money pit … read every letter of their documentation before signing up, because they couldn’t care less what their employee says… completely ridiculous notion, having to go home after signing up to classes and researching policies to confirm what was told to me BEFORE I paid… while changing their tune afterwards. The way the woman spoke to me sounded like this is the hundredth time she’s had to break the news to someone about this«policy».

I don’t have much experience in kids’ gymnastics classes, so I guess I don’t have much to which I can compare. I will say that the staff is absolutely fantastic! They are friendly, patient, understanding, and just great with kids. The cons aren’t enough to deter anyone from joining — not enough seating for adults to watch the classes, not enough classes(they fill up quickly!), and the fact that the only restrooms are located inside of the area where they do classes(so if you’re watching, you have to walk through the class and interrupt it to use the restroom).

I absolutely LOVE This place. My daughter is about to wrap up the fall session and we just signed her up for the winter/spring session. My daughter is enrolled in the«Beasts(19 months-2.5)» age group so parent involvement is a MUST. The instructor is amazing. She is super patient and knows how to deal with the various toddler personalities. She is great with names and seems to have a connection with each child. The kids love her. We were in a different session before this but felt our daughter was a bit more advanced. We were able to switch her out. Our previous instructor was also amazing. Although it is hard to get kids in this age range to focus, the staff does a great job(with help from parents, of course). The Little Gym has a great curriculum. You spend so much time chasing after your kid, trying to get them to do the activity of the day that you sometimes forget they are learning. I realized how much my daughter was learning when she climbed out of her crib for the first time. I put her back in to watch how she did it(so I can make changes and prevent a repeat) and her techniques were techniques she learned from the Little Gym, fluid and safe. Needless to say, I always make sure she is in her wearable blanket for naps and bedtime. So far it’s working. My child does not go to daycare so this is a great opportunity for her to interact with other kids her age. And as others mentioned, great teacher-student ratio. Definitely a plus. If you are on the fence, you can sit in on a class(free of charge). We plan on growing with the Little Gym and can’t wait to see how she progresses!

Everything is wonderful about this place. The staff is amazing. My children have been taking classes here for years and every teacher we have had has been incredible. We have also had 3 birthday parties here and they do a fantastic job.

This is a safe, nurturing environment for young children with a good teacher-student ratio. My daughter is taking gymnastics there and was very nervous about it but the instructors there are friendly and supportive and she quickly became comfortable with them. They also separate hovering parents from the classes, which is GREAT. My one complaint is that their schedule is very limited. caveat: I have not been exposed to anything but the 5 year old«giggle worms» gymnastics classes. I have no idea how they rate as a more serious gymnastics facility.
