Tribeca Pediatrics

The doctors are fine — some of them are great even, but it’s getting beyond difficult to make appointments. To make annual physical appointments, calling 6 weeks ahead of your preferred appointment date is no longer sufficient.

My husband and I just had our first baby in October. We live in the area so we decided to give it a try. I was a little hesitant because I know sometimes with bigger practices, patients do not get to see the same doctor… We have been a few times now and have seen Dr. Kasia every time. She is wonderful! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and takes as much time as we need at every appointment to answer any questions we have about our baby boy. We would highly recommend Dr. Kasia at Tribeca Pediatrics in Greenpoint!

The doctors range from sub par to very good. That is part of the problem. My daughter is only 11 weeks old and we’ve seen a different person everytime that has zero knowledge of our child and it shows. The sleep training emails are absolutely horrid. My daughter sleeps up to 9 hours through the night and that wasn’t good enough for our doctor. I am looking to switch out of this practice.
They are just a machine. No thought or subjective insight into your particular child. They follow the Michel Cohen handbook like a bunch of robots.

We started with the Williamsburg location before the more convenient Greenpoint office opened. While we were pleased with Tribeca Pediatrics to begin with, we became major advocates once we were introduced to Dr. Kasia! Beyond her gentle and sweet demeanor, she is incredibly comforting and encouraging, which is so important (and often lacking) as a parent. Thanks to Dr. Kasia’s invaluable and simplistic advice, our daughter quickly became a great sleeper and eclectic eater! She holds your hands through the transitional milestones of your baby; giving you the confidence to get through the challenging times.
Now with our daughter just over 2 years old and our new 1 month old son, we are appreciative of her knowledgable guidance more than ever while we juggle and do our best to raise the two greatest loves of our lives :)

Update: since the below disappointment I’m happy to say that Adam has been nothing but excellent. He’s been attentive and considerate throughout. I highly recommend people book with Adam.

Really disappointed with our first appointment with Dr Kasia today. Despite what I read on here and witnessed during the induction class the doctor was abrupt, aggressive, and inconsiderate. My wife had a very difficult labor and was in the hospital for 4 days, she is still suffering and has to go to the doctors for her own care. dr Kasia was late to the room and didn’t take a moment to show a hint of empathy to my wife.
We are going back on Friday to meet doctor Adam, but the experience of Tribeca pediatrics Greenpoint was awful and left us feeling shaken up. As if we don’t have enough else to concern us after just one week of delivery.

I couldn’t be happier with the care that my children have received from Tribeca pediatrics. Dr. Kasia has been a consistent source of good advice and is always accessible & available for my queries no matter how insignificant. Being a parent can be a nerve racking experience, it’s a great source of security to have a Doctor that you trust to guide you through some of the bumps. I could not recommend Tribeca or Dr. Kasia more.

I absolutely love bringing my son to doctor Kasia. We feel so at eased discussing all or parental concerns. She is warm, understanding and so affectionate to our little boy. Liam talks about her for days after a visit. The place itself is very children friendly and makes little people want to enter it not run away from it. Very happy to have this location in greenpoint.

Dr. Kasia and her staff have been excellent with our daughter from the time she was an infant. We’ve been very happy with the advice and treament. Dr. Kasia and her team are very knowledgeable and make the visits quite easy on us as well as our daughter. The office is also very clean and although we left Greenpoint after nearly 10 years there, we still drive back over from Bedstuy. Very pleased and highly recommended.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Kasia since our son was born. We were actually one of the first visitors to this lovely, bright office just 2 days after they opened. We’ve had positive experiences at this office during the past 14 months. It’s very easy to get ahold of a nurse and ask questions or schedule appointments. Kasia’s assistant, Shirley, is so good with our son and always makes us feel welcome. Dr. Kasia always takes her time with us, offers advice, takes an easy-​going and relaxed approach and has been flexible with us in regards to vaccine timing. As with most Tribeca Pediatrics offices, the doctors offer some parenting advice based on Dr. Cohen’s approach. While I agree with much of what he advocates, our family did choose to approach certain things (like baby sleep) differently. Dr. Kasia often makes her suggestions but has always been very respectful of our approach.

My son first saw Dr. Kasia when he was a few months old. Kasia spent a lot of time with us, asked us questions and had an amazing bedside manner. Jack has had some issues with his vision and Kasia has helped us through several surgeries, and a lot of post-​op maintenance and follow up tests. She communicates with his other doctors and follows up with me regularly to make sure Jack is okay and getting the care he needs. Jack just turned 1 and is doing great, in large part to the care he has received at Tribeca. (We started with Kasia in Long Island City but followed her to Greenpoint when the new office opened a few months ago.) She is a fantastic, thorough and very caring doctor. We are very lucky to have found her!
