Trusty Amigos

Oh Trusty Amigos. what can I say. our family wouldn’t know what to do without Cristal.
Cristal is not only the most amazing dog walker IN THE HISTORY of dog walkers but she is truly a one of a kind young lady. She genuinely cares about our pups and will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure they are happy and taken care of as if they were her own. I could list all of her outstanding qualities… but I’d be here for quite some time, so I’ll leave you with this:
Since Cristal joined our family, our buddy Peanut got very sick, the old man needed a lot of special care and TLC. He had his eye removed, broke out into the most horrific ulcers all over his body, needed medicine, vet visits, you name it he went through it… and there was Cristal, always by his side. She never hesitated when we asked for help and was so incredibly gracious, flexible and understanding, truly just an angel. With all of this going on, she still made our other old lady Petunia feel like a million bucks… walks, playing, loving her
A couple weeks ago, Peanut had a bad cough but we couldn’t get to the vet so we asked Cristal to take him. It turned out that our beloved buddy had cancer with a very aggressive tumor near his heart… I don’t really need to go into details over what happened over the next couple days but I will say we couldn’t have gotten through it without Cristal. She was there every step of the way, checking in on us and Petunia while giving our Peanut all the love one could ask for… she is really is something special. We had a trip planned which we couldn’t cancel and we felt really guilty about leaving Petunia alone, well of course no need to worry when Cristal is on the job. Upon our return, Petunia was a happy little bug and Cristal gave us the sweetest picture frame with a beautiful quote for our Peanut
I tell you. you have a gem

Trusty Amigos is awesome! Yeranny walks our dog Grace once or twice a week, and I know she is in great hands. Yeranny is so good with her, and she’s very responsive by text. I am so happy I found them!

Very happy with Trusty Amigos! There’s alot of pet care services out there but we wanted to support Trusty because it’s a worker-​owned coop. The service was excellent. We have two aging cats, 12 and 17, and wanted the best care for them while we were away for a weekend. We felt comfortable with Cristal right away. She sent us pics and updates throughout the weekend and we came home to a log of her time with the cats and descriptions of what happened each visit. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

I would definitely use these guys again. I was anxious about leaving my cats alone for the first time while I was on vacation but Trusty Amigos reassured me with regular updates and pictures. On the next vacation I’ll have peace of mind.

Amazing service! We will definitely use again! We were away for 2 weeks around Christmas and trusty amigos looked after our two cats. Isaac sent us pictures every day to show how they are doing and we always felt like they were taking care of very well! He even came over to feed them over Christmas Day. Highly recommend this service!

It is very hard to leave my 15 year old cat, Maya, when I go away, but since working with Trusty Amigos, the process is so much less stressful. Maya is in excellent hands with Issac who comes in daily when I am travelling– not just to feed her and change her litter, but to spend time with her. He spends at least 30 minutes giving her attention and care, which makes a difference. He sends several daily photos by text and gives an update so that I am secure in knowing she is ok. He also looks out for the apartment, offering to close windows if it gets too cold, etc. Communication is excellent and it’s easy to book him and to get in touch with him while I am away.
Issac has an amazing affinity for animals and his compassion is evident. Trusty Amigos is the perfect name for this coop, because I trust them completely.

I’m the first to admit we have a problem pet. So, we were nervous about calling in a professional pet care provider. The team at Trusty Amigos asked all the right questions and put our family at ease immediately.
Our Jack was relaxed in his spot when we returned home, which is a sure sign of his being trauma free. Jack clearly had a great day with his new friends at Trusty. We also got great feedback on the how to manage some of his behavior issues.
Finally, I’m thrilled that the staff are all owners of the business fully committed to providing the very best care and customer service.

First off it’s a worker coop, which means that you’re actually giving your money to the people who help you, not some middleMAN who then shells out some miserable wage to the people doing the bulk of the work. This is cool.
But the more crucial question: are they good, and is it worth the money? Yes and yes, IMO. We’ve got two cats who required occasional stop-​bys over the course of three weeks, while we were away on vacation. The woman who helped us was attentive and friendly, came beforehand to meet us (and our kitties), texted us photos and videos while we were gone, and was totally cool when we had a payment mix-​up that required her to come by our house an extra time after we’d gotten back.
Came back to happy and healthy cats, litter box clean, etc etc. Well worth the money for the peace of mind, and remember, you’re supporting a business that’s run by its workers, not some place trying to squeeze the most out of its employees for the least money possible. This makes a difference, both in the world and in the superior quality of care you receive.

Laura came to walk my dog Noodle and she was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. She asked great questions about my dog– he has a few health issues– and gave me great feedback about him when she returned. He loved his long walk, something that I have not been able to do with him for such a while. He was much calmer and more relaxed and happy when he returned. I am very happy with Trusty Amigos and intend to continue to work with them.

We hired Trusty Amigos to care for our 6 year old cat for about a week when we went to California. The member was super friendly and arrived on time for our initial visit. She showed genuine interest in our cat which made us feel like she really cared about his well being. When we got home «Colito» was happy and healthy and the apartment was clean. Thank you Brisa for a great job with our kitty!
