Margaret and Max were utterly exceptional! I searched through many wedding photographers to find them, and they are unparalleled in their ability to capture the essence of their subjects and artfully compose even the most spur of the moment, candid photographs! And the quality of their photographs is just gorgeous — somehow they get colors to do things colors don’t normally do… I can’t explain it but I love it. My husband and I are beyond thrilled at our wedding photographs, and in fact can do little else but look through them over and over and over again. All of our wedding guests are sending us emails saying that we got the best photographers imaginable! We are forever indebted to the worlds most fabulous photographic duo for perfectly capturing the best day of our lives. All I can say is, you can’t go wrong with these two!

I was the other half at Joanna L’s cape cod wedding, and I agree with everything she said, but I’ll add another couple cents. Most wedding photographers we looked at had pictures that all looked basically the same. Lovely, sure, but all the same kind of shots throughout the event, no matter what they were shooting.(And, for what it’s worth, the same kind of shots as other wedding photographers.) Not only did Margaret’s pictures totally stand out from other photographers, the pictures she took are amazingly varied — from big brassy colors to soft-washed colors to black and white, from totally kinetic motion shots, to beautiful calm portraits, to loving close-ups of ripe tomatoes… Her shots are really multi-dimensional, as a wedding is. Yet, despite that amazing variety, the photos don’t feel scattered at all when you look at them as a group — there’s a real cohesiveness that comes from her amazing eye. Also, all that stuff about Margaret being an amazing person — the exact type of person you want around on a day like that — that’s all true as well.
