Vogue Optical

EXTREMELY disappointed with our second trip to Vogue Optical — especially since we went out of our way to come back here after a fantastic first experience.
First, I was quoted for a pair of glasses and told by an employee that they would be fully covered under my insurance — and then as soon as it came time to pay, a different clerk told me that they would be $ 80. I pointed out that the person who had been helping me the entire time had told me they would be completely covered (and she came over agreed that she told me they were covered) –but it didn’t seem to matter that their stories contradicted.
The same person who changed the price on me implied my mother did not even know her name — twice badgering her «Are you sure _​_​_​_​_​is right?» because my father’s name was on the insurance papers, which my mother tried to explain. The staff was particularly short with my mother, whose first language is not English.
Finally — and the nail in the coffin — my mom decided not to purchase any frames and instead just have her eyes checked — they said this was totally fine and kept her voucher to supposedly file for the exam. When we got the insurance claim back from our provider, we saw that Vogue Optical had gauged our insurance for an eye exam, frames and lens .We will be informing our insurance of this misconduct.
I want to chalk it up to the staff just having an off-​day, but this kind of behavior and the false insurance claims is really inexcusable.

Great shop, excellent customer service — Alevtina definitely took care of me very well and provided a great experience, I am a repeat customer and this was my third visit along with a third pair of glasses I purchased here. A+++

Love them all. Have been my eye doctor for years. Always nice and pleasant. Wonderful with what they do. Good selections and suggestions with frames. Fast service as well. Nice premises. Never a long wait. And yes they make courtesy call.

Great selection of frames. Staff is friendly, professional and eager to please.
Prices are reasonable.
I just needed new RX, they ordered the lenses and were ready to put in my frames in a matter of days. I’ve been there a few times and bring my teen aged kids aswell.
They are tough customers. We told the saleswoman what they were looking for and she pulled out a giant assortment of frames, she helped the kids narrow down.

A good neighborhood place run by twin brothers. Very polite and attentive people with a good sense of humor. Definitely eager to help you out with selection or glases or contacts. They dont spike up their prices, which is not something many optical stores do in the area. Been there already 3 times for prescription renewal and always had a pleasant experience.
