This is the place you end up at. Is that insulting? I ended up here. I have no idea what kind of base urge for self-destruction temporarily replaced my facility for decision making, but I was attempting to go out on a Saturday night in Park Slope(haven’t made either mistake since – Saturday night OR going out in Park Slope). Every other place was either horrendously, obscenely full, and/or horrendously, obscenely overpriced. The place feels like Dad’s full-bar-in-basement but on a bigger scale with a little more sleaze and cash thrown in. Some kind of crazy furniture projects in the works in the back room. Basically, nothing offensive happened to me here. $ 2 bottles of beer, able to have a conversation without being elbowed or jostled or having to shout. Based on the context of a Saturday night in Park Slope, the aforementioned attributes are enough to merit a 3-star rating for a place that I probably never would have gone to, and never will go back to again. About the rating… I can’t decide, actually, whether it’s worse to lower your standards and say something is better than it was, or be overly harsh about a place that never did anything all that bad to you. OK, this review is officially not even about a bar anymore.

Went there last night after dinner with some Meetup friends. The décor of the place is very nice giving it a cozy feel however the place at 9pm was rather empty on a Saturday night. This was probably because they had the radio station on as music and it was blasting commercials. I have never walked into a bar in NYC where radio commercials were subbing as music. When we asked the bartender to turn it down a notch she actually turned it UP! She also was one of those female bartenders that ignore women and are chatting/flirty with male customers. Well we women have money too and would like better service. The drinks were weak and god awful bad. I really wanted to like this place but there is absolutely nothing positive I can say about it other than the décor is nice. AVOID!

This is a decent, casual, chill spot for some stiff drinks. I went on a Friday night, DjTy had the place jumping and the hookah boys have the best flavors. its nothing super special but its a good neighborhood spot, i would go there again.

I want to like this bar, as I live about 3 minutes around the corner. But it is the deadest, dullest place I’ve ever been in, and not in a charmingly divey way. I hope something new and fun moves in there, because the area could use a laid back but fun dive bar. This however is not it.

The kamikaze shot I had was good but my first so who knows. The place is well decorated. Annoying radio playing though.

CHECKYOURBANKSTATEMENT!!! I was accidentally charged twice– two charges of 51 dollars to be exact. When i called to inquire about the charge, I was hung up on repeatedly by the manager. Please Do a favor and check your statements when going there.

I went out with my man there this past week it was GHETTO as hell. We were nicely dressed casual looking for a good spot all we saw were jeans sneakers baseball caps hoodies. Hood spot wish someone would have told me so I would have waisted my time.

Cool place, went to see a pool game, the game was pretty boring but the drinks were good and cold on a hot summer day. They don’t have a kitchen so I ordered from a Spanish restaurant across the street, the name escapes me now but the food was sooo good, ill have to look them up and give them a review. The place was pretty empty it was a Monday night though, so it was just me and my friends, I didn’t mind, background music was cool and the place was clean, I have no complaints,

Went there with a lady friend to have a drink and catch a World Series game. Maybe because it was still a bit early for the neighborhood(or the fact that no one cared for the Series anyway), but the place was empty when we walked in. There were a group of people in costume heading out to a party as we arrived and only 1 other person at the bar. Despite this, we sat down. However, the drinks we ordered(Vodka and Cranberry) were very weak and we asked to bartender to make them stronger, which she indicated she would have to charge us for a shot. Instead we just ordered a shot of Patron which did nothing for us either. Perhaps the scene gets better later at night or with a different bartender, but there is not much that would draw me back there.

I have been here a couple of times for the music showcases hosted by Green Sofa Music Group… Let’s just say good music, and great bar staff…

This was my first time, music mix was good but the drinks are water down, if you don’t know the real taste of a drink you will not share the same view. Other from the water down drinks the vibe is good.

Voodoo Lounge is a cool spot to grab a quick drink in the neighborhood and hang out for a few, a good buddy of mines«Junito» works there as the Bartender, go see him he is awesome! The Staff is pretty cool here. Friday nights are the best in my opinion. Live Dj’s are available on weekends most of the time. Pretty cool spot to watch the game, they don’t sell food but you are welcome to bring some snacks to enjoy while watching the game.

If you’re looking for a place that has good music, a great vibe and stiff drinks then this is the place. I came here on Friday night at about 11 pm. Since we were traveling in a pack of 5 and wanted to be seated together we asked the waitress for her VIP section we were only kidding but as it turned out she led us to a spot that was had a reserved sign in place and kindly seated us. We tipped her $ 20 for such excellent treatment. The place was packed with a nice crowd and the music was on point. The waitress was very attentive probably too attentive as she kept clearing the table and emptying drinks that weren’t quite finished. The appetizer bites were very delicious and served fresh and hot. I would definitely come here again

I had a great time at this spot for my friends birthday on a Saturday night. The bar/lounge isnt that big but its a decent size in a nice location. There was no cover for women who got there before 12. The music was great, I didnt drink since I was driving. There was a mature crowd and it wasnt jammed pack so we were able to move around, take pictures and dance. They had their staff offering free birthday parties if you sign up. I would definitely check this spot out again.

Met some friends here last Thursday that used to attend their weekly karaōke with DJ Ron. Definitely attracts a very mid 20s wild, loudly drunk crowd by 11 pm. There were some very confrontational«ladies» arguing directly from the front door and obstructing uninvolved patrons(us) from exiting the bar. The ONLY reason why this place didn’t get 1 star is because their drinks have consistently been good, and you can go early and probably have a better experience. The bartender makes pretty mean kamikazes…

Looks like it could be a nice spot with a nice crowd. i wouldn’t know though because the day I went it was pretty empty. I didn’t drink anything either but I could see having a private event here or attending one with more people. Star lost because within the short time I was there the DJ repeated his play list twice and was about to go in for a third. No bueno.

I went here last night with my friend for her birthday party. The place was empty *I“m assuming because of the Thanksgiving weekend, everyone went out of town) The music wasn’t bad at all… you were able to make requests. The drinks were moderately priced. $ 7 for a nice sized apple martini isn’t bad considering you would get a very small one in the city for like $ 10 or more. I would def go there again but with more of a crowd. The dance area is small. But its a good place to go on a Saturday night and just run around the room and act crazy with your friends. Which is exactly what we did! lol

Tap beer was flat. Bartender didn’t really wanna be bothered and overall just not my kinda place. it seems as if Staten Island landed on Park Slope — in the worst possible way. I’d be surprised if this place makes it 6 more months! Don’t waste your time.

Now if you live in Park Slope you may think a sports bar is where you talk to other parents about your kid’s little league game last weekend. But no, this is indeed an adults only sports bar. Yes the baby carriage capital of Brooklyn does indeed have a cool bar where you can watch football, baseball, hockey and even soccer(by request or when USA is doing well of course). The bar is beautiful and they offer so many delicious brews on tap that your drunken head will spin. They give you a big ol’ bowl of pretzels to scarf down while watching the games on one of their 7 Plasma TVs. So when you want some ice cold beers with a decent crowd on a Sunday to check out the defending Superbowl champion Giants(Go Big Blue!). In the back area of the bar you have a pool table and an mp3 jukebox.
