Alrhough the prices are good and Danny is open for a good bargain, our bar-mitzva caked turned out to be not even close to the shape we ordered, and it tasted old and very very greasy and gross. The small French pastries were delicious but Danny failed to tell me that I was purchasing small boxes so there were not enough desserts for all guests ! Big shame !

Unfortunately, my wedding venue exclusively uses Chantilly for the cakes for their kosher affairs. After this horrific and frustrating experience that I had«working» with Danny from Chantilly, we have urged the venue to find a new kosher bakery. Danny was an absolute nightmare to deal with and I hung up from every phone call irate and pulling my hair out. He is a liar and a scammer. Danny refused to tell my what flavor cakes he could make and when I asked if he could do fresh fruit, such as strawberries, he told me yes. Fast forward to the final cake flavor selection and I am told that strawberries and raspberries are not kosher and I cannot have them. He then tried to get the venue to pay extra money for a special washing technique which would make the berries«kosher.» When we decided to go with a different flavor, and therefore he didn’t get his extra money, he proceeded to charge the venue an extra $ 100 because our cake was fondant. For the record, we ended up getting a strawberry shortcake, which didn’t have fresh strawberries but had strawberry«purée.» Additionally, Danny refused to show me any pictures of any wedding cakes he had made but said he could make«anything» we wanted. When I showed him a picture of what we wanted, he told me he had made that cake before and could do it. The picture I sent him and the cake that we had was night and day. If I had known what a terrible job he would have done, I would have just asked for something plan with no decorations. Luckily our cake design included fresh flowers provided by our florist and our cake topper were the focus of the cake. While the cakes themselves tasted awful during our tasting(and we warned our guests to steer clear of the cake and enjoy the other desserts made in-hour at our venue instead), many of our guests surprisingly told us that the cake was very good. During our cake cutting, my husband and I gave each other the smallest pieces because we were worried how it would taste, but didn’t think it was that bad. Working with Chantilly was the most stressful and aggravating part of my entire wedding planning experience. If you have a choice for your kosher parve wedding cake, GOSOMEWHEREELSE.

Very rude employees — refused to deliver to a party in Queens– said«their $ 5.00 delivery fee is nothing»! Cake tasted gross– box cakes taste better– overall very bad customer service and awful tasting cake

They’re desserts look pretty, but taste okay. I guess you don’t really have a choice when you have to accept parve at an occasion serving meat. And you will laugh, cry from laughter, if any of you see the picture I sent them for my wedding cake and the actual wedding cake I got. The only part of my wedding that I hated was my cake.

Delicious! Kosher parve cakes are usually inedible and no one eats it at weddings. They made us the most amazing 3 tier wedding cake(white cake with strawberry filling) it looked so beautiful and even had an elegant bow on the top! Photographed so well and tasted even better! Every guest had a piece and some even had seconds and thirds! Can’t wait to eat the top tier in a few months for our anniversary!

Terrible. The only thing that is worse than the taste is the service. Lets begin: ordered cupcakes and a cake for a child’s party, inedible, artificial tasting, dirty preparation, sloppy packing, with smeared chocolate fingerprints on the outside of the box — mind you nothing i purchased even had chocolate in it. And the cake — it was frozen!!! Did I mention, the items were supposed to be delivered, and I was charged for delivery, except they don’t have a delivery service, and did not inform me of that. so very money hungry. I had to pick up the items myself during a child’s party. The owner refused to refund my money, did not apologize, and tried to yank the cakes out of my hands to smash them on the floor. BIGGEST mistake!!!
