I had a really great experience with this service. Jomar was really communicative and easy to work with. He came around and gave a free quote and then got to work the next day. He and one of his guys finished the job way faster than what I expected they would and for far cheaper than the other quotes I got from other services. On the whole they did a really wonderful job with my walls and my apartment looks great now. I highly recommend this service to others.

Jomar couldn’t come my way on the short notice I needed, so he sent Eddie — one of his weekend guys to my apartment. I’ve had an annoying time finding reliable contractors and handymen, but this team seems on point.
I must say, it was a great experience. Eddie was quick. Knowledge. Helpful. And very nice.
He uninstalled and reinstalled a bunch of guitars I had hanging on the wall, a TV, and fixed an issue I had been having with a bad install on a mounted coat rack. He did it all in a little over an hour and a half. It’s nice to know I have found a reliable place that also does quality work and are nice guys at the same time.

Having a different handyman improperly mount my shelves (they soon toppled) is what lead me to Jomar, and he did an excellent job! He explained every step of the process for me, and did multiple furniture assembly jobs in the time frame I needed, all while chatting to me and making the hours go by quicker. Fairly priced!

I met Jomar after contacting another painting company that was too busy and referred me to Jomar’s team. I was a little hesitant at first and asked for some references which Jomar had no problems supplying. Everyone had only glowing things to say about him and since he offered to paint our place over the weekend (and thereby letting us move in that much faster!) we went with his company.
All the reviews are spot on! Jomar gets 5 stars for 5 reasons:
1. GREAT at communication. He was very responsive to me (replying within minutes most of the time) and he e-​mailed/​texted status updates, even if it was just to say that he would be 10 minutes late. This also shows how incredibly on time he generally is. If he says he’ll be there, he’ll be there.
2. Flexible and willing to go the extra mile. We needed some furniture moved to our basement and he and his team were gracious about doing it for us. He was really nice about meeting up with me on my schedule for random things (picking up a copy of the keys, picking up the payment, etc.)
3. Beautiful work. He obviously pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. The paint job was perfect. Completely uniform and no stray paint anywhere.
4. Fast! He was able to get 2 other guys to help him on a Saturday and they were done painting the walls by 4pm. Incredible.
5. Honest. Jomar gave me a quote for the labor and then e-​mailed me copies of all the receipts for the materials. I didn’t even have to put down a deposit and didn’t pay Jomar until the week after he was done because he wanted to make sure we had time to look at the job and be happy with it before paying him. He really stands by his work!
Highly recommend! His pricing was middle of the range of the price quotes we received but I think worth it because of the ease of planning, speed of execution (and ability to work weekends), and quality of work.

Jomar did a wonderful job! We had him come mount a television. He worked quickly and left the place spotless when he was done. We will definitely use him again with other projects.

I’m so so happy I found these guys. Jomar responded to my inquiry promptly and was incredibly helpful in fitting me into his (pretty booked) schedule. One of his partners, Andre, was able to come to my apartment the next day. Andre was awesome — he did the job (lots of furniture moving and assembling) quickly and I’m very pleased with the results. I would absolutely recommend them!

So this review is for the professionalism of Jomar and how much I appreciate his business ethic. I was debating between «WoW NYC Handy Men» and two other contractors. In the end I decided to go with another contractor just due to scheduling, but Jomar answered all of my questions quickly and was extremely nice. The rates here are definitely competitive with other skilled and licensed contractors and painters. I will keep them on my list for future jobs I will need done.

Jomar painted my livingroom for me in Williamsburg. He was courteous and most importantly right on time. He did an amazing job and the lines were perfect. I highly recommend him for your job. So happy with his work.

I had bought some shelves I wanted to hang above my bed.
While I usually pretty handy, I wasn’t confident I could hang 4 in a row to make them all totally even spaced out properly and level.
I started looking for a handyman, and came across this business.
I was slightly unsure about having a stranger in my place, but this business had good reviews So I went for it .
So Glad I did!
Jomar was my handyman, he got my shelves hung exactly as I wanted them. He were quick, professional and extremely friendly.
I will certainly be keeping this business and number handy, incase i need help with another job in the future.

I first got to know Jomar when I needed an entire pre-​war apartment painted before moving in. He and his team did a great job, which also included some other handy work — such as removing closet doors, installing shelving, a ceiling fan, and light fixtures. Since then, he has become our go-​to handyman: patching leaks, installing shelves, hanging pictures, etc. He takes real pride in his work and prefers to do a job right rather than rush it. He is also good about staying in touch and honest about when he will and will not be available. i really appreciate that kind of transparency.

WOW! This is a FANTASTIC service. My handyman (Clynt) went above and beyond my expectations. I had a variety of jobs that needed to be done, and he tackled them all with skill. Courteous, professional and very very competent and knowledgeable. I will be using THIS service for years to come. Highly recommended!!!

I would give Jomar more than 5 stars if I could. Excellent communication, pride in his work, helped me out with an additional small job I had and didn’t charge extra as it was still within one hour. So glad I found Jomar since moving to Bushwick. He will remain my go-​to handyman for everything going forward! Not only does he do great work, he is a kind soul and a pleasure to be around. As a non-​native NYer, I am thankful to have found a great and trustworthy handyman!

Jomar has been my go-​to handyman for more than six years — from getting my son’s nursery ready, to moving into a new house and patching up those odds and ends that you get stuck with. He tackles a job like it was his own property and stays until it’s finished. Unlike a lot of contractors or professional handymen out there, he isn’t about the upsell, he’s about getting it right. For anything painting, hanging, installing, or even just changing a lightbulb (15 feet in the air), Jomar is the man. Highest recommendation.

I was looking all over for a painter that would tackle a small job. Jeff the gentleman that came to paint a bedroom in queens was more then professional he arrived early which is always good start. Jeff got straight to work upon entering the apartment he offered his advice on colors and and asked for my input as well. Jeff removed all the residue and patched my walls especially one large crack that he patched so well I can’t remember exact where it was on the wall. The price was reasonable given the extent of the job. The project was projected to take 2 days and Jeff stayed later then he actually wanted to in order to complete the job in one day. Working through his break. The thing I especially like about there service was they left the materials that they purchased to complete the job. (a lot of other companies charge you for materials and then keep them to use for other jobs) something that is a pet peeve of mine.
I would definitely recommend their service and I’m actually inquiring about another job with them that I needed completed in the coming weeks. Amazing job

Jomar and his team did an amazing painting job in my 3 bedroom apartment in LES. Were on time, reliable and very professional. The crew was very helpful with all my questions and doubts about colors and finishes. An overall pleasant experience
