Established in 2006.

The creation of White Knight Pest Control was inspired by the idea that we wanted to create a company that would provide growth opportunities for people who had a strong desire and passion to serve others. The true meaning of a White Knight in chivalric times is one that comes to the rescue when dire circumstances are at hand. A White Knight is pure in heart and will do whatever it takes to make sure the well being of others comes first! At White Knight, that’s just what we do. Our goal is to cultivate a winning environment full of service to those we have the privilege of building relationships with. This includes our employees, our customers, and the communities we are a part of. We take pride in our company name. It instills in our hearts a character trait that each of us at White Knight Pest Control strives to obtain and maintain each day. This is the driving force that motivates us to do what we do since opening our doors for business in the Spring of 2006.

Business Owner

Chip began his career in the pest control industry as a Sales Representative for a company in the Dallas area in 1999. He was offered ownership the following summer in 2000. Chip became the President of Sales and Recruiting and played an integral part in maintaining customer loyalty, retention, and growth. In 2006 Chip sold his portion of ownership and began White Knight Knight Pest Control. White Knight has become an industry leader in the Austin, San Antonio, Temple, Killeen, Waco, and Dallas markets.

Chip received his education from Utah State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with highest honors. Chip has had the wonderful opportunity to spend two years in service to the people of South America and was able to study its culture, religion, and language. He is an Eagle Scout from Sanger, TX and loves sports, strategy games, and motivational movies.

Chip is a husband and father of two boys (12 & 9) and two girls (6 & 3)

IF THERE IS A ZERO STAR THAT IS WHAT THEY DESERVE
as a former employee, their Houston manager have too controlling of a attitude toward the employees or think he owns them, think he is running a slave camp, do not let them have a say so at work and treat them like school children. Because the company’s sales persons trick the customers into signing contracts with them, customers are mean to technicians and technicians are not very happy for free redo, but that is how their sales people sell their contracts by telling the customers that they would get free redo.

Have only positive things to say about White Knight Pest Control. Have been using their services for a little less than a year. The technicians are very courteous, knowledgeable — ex. Damon who came last week to service was very patient, answered all of my questions. there were some biling discrepancies — I called and left a message — Emily called and addressed my billing issue today. Couple of weeks earlier, had a quick conversation with Linda Hall, Office manager, and the issues raised were addressed in time and to satisfaction. I do see mixed reviews across google reviews, Unilocal and others — but my experience so far has been good. If there is change to this service, I will definitely update. Cheers!!!

I HATE bugs and when scorpions, wasps, fireants and spiders showed up, this prior Californian freaked out! They came out, got the situation under control in one visit and I haven’t had a single problem or issue in 6 years. They are THE BEST!

I am a total freak when it comes to bugs and insects, so living in a subdivision with lakes and ponds is pretty much a guarantee for critters everywhere. SO Not ok with me. So when we were searching for a pest control company, a friend recommended White Knight. We are really impressed with the service thus far!
White Knight came out and we were really shocked at the attention to detail. Our technician came out initially to start treating for mosquitoes and such (we have a pool and lots of plants and shrubs!) — but he went above and beyond. There were a few ant hills that he took care of (I mean, massive ant hills!) and he removed about 8 wasp nests around our home. When we first bought the house, the nests were everywhere and wasps were somehow getting into our house. Good riddance! As soon as I got my service, I had a voicemail from their office asking how the service was and if I needed to update any contact information. The technician also left us his card with his cell phone # and the documented the things he serviced.
A legit company for sure. I would recommend this company to everyone looking for quality service at a good price point. Good service is tough to come by these days with everyone constantly trying to rip you off, and do as little as possible, and still get paid, so I give credit where it’s due! We are definitely going to remain long-​time customers!

Horrible customer service. Long story short, I found another company with way better prices. I cancelled White Knight service a few days after that came by for a quarterly service thinking we were good for the quarter (3 months). But I was never informed when I cancelled that the satisfaction guarantee turns into «30 day» guarantee. And we were at 34 days. We had a flea issue pop up so I called for someone to come out and take care of it. They said since we were no longer customers and outside of the 30 day guarantee they couldn’t service our house. So we paid $ 107 for less than half of their service. Mind you, the new company we are with are about $ 20 less than they are!

Issues from the get go… Miscommunication between office personnel and technicians.
We were told we did not have to be home for first service by 4 – 5 different folks but that’s not the case so we had to reschedule. Set a new time and tech showed up 2.5 hours early, asking why stuff was not moved outside so he had to «spray around». Waiting to see if activity goes away/​lessens but still seeing quite a bit of the critters we were hoping to get rid of by using this service. Overall, not a good experience, will not use again.
It’s been a few weeks now (we still have the bugs we initially had… granted it has been raining). They’ve recently called to come out for their «quarterly spray». We did not ask for this and I asked to be taken out of their database. She said she would call back in 2 weeks.

After some relentless cold calling when I moved to into my new home from White Knight, I caved and signed up for service as the price was comparable to others. I was aware of the poor reviews online, but thought I’d give it a go anyway.
1st visit, was told I’d get a phone call when the tech was on his way. Showed up without the phone call. Seemed to do his job spraying stuff here and there, though I can’t remember him looking in the attic. He sprayed outside as well. I gave him a check and signed some sort of agreement and that was that.
Two weeks later White Knight calls me, and asks me if I want to schedule my first appt. I tell them it already happened. Weird.
3 months later, I notice that I haven’t seen or heard from them. I call, and they tell me I have no active account, no agreement was signed, and service was never activated.
All of this jives with the other negative reviews, so I’m going somewhere else.

do not sign a contract! this pest control service doesn’t work. The service itself is great and the employees are super nice and helpful. The PRODUCT isn’t powerful enough to last any significant amount of time. They have to service your property often, because the product is WEAK. I can use product from Home Depot that is more effective and lasts longer. Saving me a ton a money.

Update to a prior five star review. We were scheduled today. In the afternoon, since the technicians hadn’t come yet, we called to get an estimated arrival time. And leaned that our appointment had been cancelled. Because they were too busy to get to us. And no one called to let us know; apparently it didn’t occur to them.
Guess it is good we called, as I’d have hung around all afternoon waiting instead of doing the many other things on my work list.
We’ve been customers of the Salado office for about three years now. Reggie Sr. is our usual technician, and he is always reliable, thorough and highly professional. Other technicians are also quite good. Because we live in a rural area we anticipated that pest control would be a problem. But with our scheduled service, we very seldom have any problems, and when we do we call, Reggie handles it completely.
When it comes to customer service, it takes only one bad experience to negate years of positives.
Net-​net: five stars still for the technicians. But only one star for the back office.
So as a recommendation to potential clients of White Knight: if uneven back office service doesn’t phase you, then I definitely recommend this firm; they do great work and the technicians are excellent. BUT: if you believe the overall service experience needs to be consistently good to earn your business, then I guess I’d suggest that you look around some more. For example, if another firm called me today asking for a shot at my business with them, I’d try an alternative in a heartbeat. Who knows, maybe a competitor’s technicians will be great also.

This review is for scheduling, not for maintenance itself — we didn’t quite get that far.
Scheduling error #1:
I made an appointment for someone to come out on a Saturday. I realized a few days before that I could not make it, and called to reschedule. I was told that my appointment was switched to Monday without my knowledge because the technician scheduled for my appointment couldn’t make it that day… um, okay. They said they tried to contact me, but apparently had no issues calling me at any other time. Alright, whatever. I reschedule for an 8−10am slot Wednesday morning.
Scheduling error #2:
I get to my house at 8am Wednesday (we haven’t moved in yet) and hang around waiting. At 9:45 I get a call saying my technician called in sick and won’t be there by 10, but they’re sending someone else over. I ask multiple times what time I can expect the new person, because I’m already missing work and need to leave before 12. I couldn’t get a straight answer about when he’d be there, only that «he’s getting his stuff together and will head to your house right after.» Oookay. I made it very clear I needed to leave by 12 at latest, but at 11:40 this guy still hadn’t shown up. I called to just cancel the appointment and stated pretty plainly that no, I did not want to reschedule. Got a call the next day «just making sure» I didn’t want to reschedule.
I understand that things happen and I have tried to be flexible. For what it’s worth, the girl I spoke with on the phone (Whitney) was very sweet and clearly felt bad about the situation. Not her fault, but I am not interested in waiting another 4 hours praying that someone will actually show up or hoping my appointment hasn’t been rescheduled without any notice.

I’m incredibly thankful for White Knight coming to my rescue each time I called. They treat quarterly outside but we live in a 100 year old home that also needs care inside so roaches won’t find it too cozy.
Each time I’ve had to call for help with mice or bugs they’ve jumped to make sure the issue is taken care of. Great attitudes from each technician who has visited. That makes a huge difference for me as it makes my experience that much more pleasurable. Oh, and the work they do actually fixes me right up!

And really more than anything we just love our technician, Matt M!
He is efficient, knowledgable, and friendly! He also remembers little details about us and our property, which makes the visits so much more comfortable (like the actually care about your individual needs). My husband and I have both commented every time about how pleasant his demeanor is…
He and the company must also be really good their jobs because we never see a bug! Even though our property is old, backs up on a poorly maintained drainage ditch, is boxed in on either side by neighbors who don’t maintain their lawns, and was a bug nightmare when we first moved in.
Also our garage was covered in spiders webs/​eggs that we didn’t even know about and Matt took care of all that in like two seconds one visit (when we were actually even late getting home for the appointment).
We couldn’t be happier!

This company needs to hire more people to handle the amount of accounts that need service. They have too many accounts and not enough service technicians or phone reps.
The hold time on the phone is horrible, at least 20 min of waiting to talk to anyone to help you do anything… not to mention the horrible music you have to listen to.
When you sign up you are promised immediate service if anything comes up… But so far if we have an emergency we have to wait at least 4 days before anyone can come out. Even though we pay monthly were still having ants coming out of our walls…
Would not sign another contract.;(

First, I will say I did work as a technician for these guys about 3 years ago. However, the only association I have with them now is that I continue to use their service. Why? Because it freakin’ works. Really well.
My opinion as a former technician:
Their product is awesome at killing bugs. All types of bugs: ants, wasps (I hate wasps), roaches, bed bugs, gnats, etc. They’ll also take care of your mouse/​rat problem. They product dries really fast and is animal friendly (as long as they aren’t drinking it I suppose). I have 3 pets and they have never had a weird reaction to the product. If you have any weird pest problem, they will know what to do about it.
My opinion as a customer:
The normal outside treatment is almost always sufficient. However, if I ever have a problem inside, I just call them up and they will come take care of the inside as well. And within a day or two, the pests are controlled. I was almost hesitant to get pest control because it kills scorpions and I kinda like scorpions. But, if you hate scorpions, like most normal people, White Knight is good at killing scorpions :(
tl;dr these guys are scorpion killers
