Bloom

This was my first (and last) time using Bloom. I chose them because their website states they take pride in their artistry and claim that «inadequate [flower] substitutions» will not be received. I ordered a birthday arrangement via Bloom’s website. The arrangement I chose was colorful (mostly reds) with a lot of floral variety («‘Razzle Dazzle’ rose, Gerbera daisy, red hypericum and more!») and texture. I also paid extra to up the arrangement to «deluxe.» I was so disappointed and embarrassed by the arrangement that was received. It was a bunch of standard white daisies, green fern and leaves. I contacted the store via email and asked for a partial refund or another arrangement. They didn’t respond. Bloom delivered a disappointing product and service.

We had a last minute decision to add candelabras to our wedding reception tables, to intermix with our florist’s centerpieces. (We happen to live in the lofts above Bloom so what a convenient choice!) This turned out to be an AWESOME choice –the candelabras looked great and the owner was wonderful to work with. We ended up choosing the tall gold candelabras and the three mint julep vases with flowers, which we coordinated with our florist since we had already chosen the color roses with her. While we were at it, we also rented the card box, a tall white pillar that locks. At the end of the night, after you empty your gifts from it, you lock it up and throw the keys in and Bloom comes and picks it up the next day, along with the centerpieces. All extremely convenient and well organized. We were so happy we chose Bloom and would highly recommend for centerpieces and wedding knick-​knacks. Browse through their unique selection and you’re bound to find some chic décor! Would use them again for an event in a heartbeat.

We used bloom’s for our wedding this past July and they were AMAZING! Orlando was super helpful and accommodating! He created beautiful centerpieces and made sure that everything was set up correctly and looked great! He even created additional arrangements with the extra flowers which made our venue look so beautiful. I would definitely use blooms again!

My fiancé and I had an appointment at 5 o’clock for a wedding consultation. The shop closes at 5, but Orlando offered to stay after hours to meet with us. We showed up at 4:45 and the store was already closed. We waited for 20 minutes and called, but no one showed up or answered the phone. If you can’t make an appointment, at least let us know. Completely unprofessional.

I had never noticed this before, although driven by many times on my way downtown. This time I was on foot. One evening around 6 I parked on Main street, dropped a quarter in the meter (pay until 6 pm), and started walking to Coco to meet a friend.
I was planning a quick visit to Hyatts, hey, I was in the area, first. So up Main I start walking, and I pass this storefront that was just soooo cute. All sorts of flowers and other little tings.
I had to pop in. So I did. Behind the counter was a man on a phone, he waved a greeting, and I wandered around. They call themselves a florist. But this is so much more. This is a wedding and party store. You come here they help you do everything from plan the wedding theme to the flowers to the wedding party gifts to the guest favors, And not just weddings. All sorts of parties.
That weekend he had 4 planned, so he was a busy man, happily he has three co-​workers (partners?).
But, you can also buy «that perfect gift» here. That person who is hard to buy for? Come here. You may just find the perfect things. From single bud vases (really unique ones, to high fashion shoe coin banks. And of course, flowers.
I talked to the man for a few minutes and I think he said they have been there for 4 years.
On Main between «The Wine Bar» and «Coco» at 846 Main Street. Yes, I placed it between the bars/​restaurants, really what other landmarks do you need?
Street parking. 4 stars because these are unique gifts and gorgeous flowers.
