Embassy Suites by Hilton Buffalo

Room was great, had exc suite. Clean & beds were comfortable. Checked in late so hotel maintenance was cleaning & shampoo the floors, lil annoying. We didn’t eat free breakfast looked small & crowded. Price was good for what we got.

Best hotel in buffalo by far, We normally stay at the Hampton inn across the street & decided to switch it up for once. Well I’m never going back to the Hampton. Front desk lady was great, valet parking easy & quick & the room felt like a vegas suite… we got the 1 king with a whirlpool & couldn’t be happier. Clean, spacious, great workout room & pool. We will be staying here everytime from now on… With a aaa discount it was just over 150 on a sunday, cant beat it.

For a city with not too many choices for hotel this place is tolerable, but not great.
This is the second time I stayed there. There are 3 steps right when you enter the hotel. Kind of a pain with a huge suitcase. The first time I stayed there I struggled to get my bag up the steps to check in while 3 bellman sat and watched me and did not offer to help, the same happened as i was leaving and trying to get my bag down the steps. Three of them stood there 2 feet from me having a conversation. No help.
I was just there last night. Exact same thing happened! Getting to the hotel and leaving! Unbelievable! They just sat and watched me instead of offering a helping hand!
I stay in hotels 180 nights a year. I have never run into this practice at any other property. It felt extremely rude.

The worst! During our 4 night stay we had a less than clean room upon arrival and rude maid service. The pull out had dirty sheets. We needed a roll away that was delivered with no linen. Parking was a forced vallet for $ 18 a day and because there is only street parking which you have to feed the metor there was really no choice. A parking attendent went through our car and took snacks and $ 6. On a visit to the pool there were tons of unsupervised kids and mothers with babies in diapers in both the pool and hot tub. Which resulted in one of the babies having a bowl movement in the hot tub. We also notice prostitutes entering and exiting the hotel on a couple of the nights. It was loud at night. We will never go back!

The room setups are very nice. Very big suites available here. On the flip side, they need to tidy up a bit more. For the type of hotel that it is, there is no excuse for it to lack in that area. This hotel is very big when you walk in. Even when on the elevators and getting off there is just a lot of space!

I recently stayed at Embassy Suites Buffalo (NY). We had a few concerns during our stay which were resolved by the front office manager Michael Jackson.
To my surprise, he helped us throughout even after we left the hotel, and It has to be noted the level of customer service he has provided has been top notch.
This is a great example of after sales customer service. I wish this message reaches the hotel. As well as the people that can make a difference. Thanks Mike!

Very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We arrived early and were told our room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm. We came back at 4pm and the room still wasn’t ready! Are room was not ready until 45 minutes later! When check in time is four, it’s four! The hotel was not even busy for this kind of mess up!.They also couldn’t get a grip on the fact we were using Honor points one night and paying for the next night. The next morning while my husband and kids were gone, I was bothered by a maid asking me if i was checking out! I truly believe she would of came in (her card in her hand) if I didn’t answer the door. Then the phone rings a bit later with no one on the line! I really felt like we were treated like second class citizens because we were using Hilton Honor points! The stay is $ 200 a night to stay here. If I had to pay for both of these nights I would have NEVER stayed here! Because of how we were treated I doubt I will ever go back either way!

I could not be more grateful to this place if I tried. After getting shafted by another area hotel and booking at the super 8 as the only option I almost cried when I saw this place had openings.
My boyfriend and I had a room on the 5^th floor and although near the elevator you could not hear noise from the room. The room itself was one of their standard rooms and it was huge. Super comfy bed, spacious bathroom with giovanni hair products, a comfy seating area and a desk.
The front desk staff was also super helpful in helping us after we got back from the Rolling Stones concert figure out which places delivered late night which was so appreciated.
And the breakfast included was delicious and SO needed. Their breakfasts were so good that my boyfriend re-​evaluates the hotels we book now that are not embassy suites to make sure it is included.

I visited the hotel again — the room service has improved greatly. Everything else is as good. If you visit here, try the indoor pool — music and view are relaxing, water is great, and feels private. Both thumbs up.

Avoid at all costs if you savor peace and quiet. Whereas the surrounding areas of Buffalo proved to be eerily quiet on a Saturday night, the hotel itself was party central. Apparently the large suite-​style rooms are just ripe for that kind of thing. With management doing nothing to police the matter.
They gave us a huge anti-​partying spiel upon checking in which we laughed off. But clearly it’s really an issue given the roaring party we endured all night, and several others on the floor as well. And I’m sure the «managers reception» doesn’t help matters, just a nightly chance to pre-​game and get folks prepped for the night’s festivities to come.
Our room also bore signs of past festivity gone wrong, including large red stains all over the carpet.
I guess it’s comforting to know that Buffalo isn’t actually the dead zone it appeared to be on a prime weekend night, but it’s also downright depressing and annoying that *this* is where the party’s to be found.

So far first room was filthy and hot tub had stuff floating in it. Also figured at $ 300 a night we wouldn’t see 16yo kids running around screaming.

This Embassy Suites delivered everything that I expected, but didn’t wow me by any means. The lobby is very nice, the rooms are ok, the workout room is great, and the service is decent. I would say it is a pretty average Embassy Suites property. I usually like attending the managers reception in the evening, but the booze at this place is unheard of, in a bad way. I went to Olé Miss. I partied and I drank some cheap stuff. If I haven’t heard of literally any bottle on the bar, there is a problem. The room service food is quite good though. Go for the spinach stuffed chicken breast. The hot wings were also pretty darn good. All in all, this was an average visit for two weeks. Not great, not bad.
Oh, one last thing, the valet can be a little aggressive for tips. I literally never carry cash and it is really difficult to tip when you are paying $ 18 a day to park somewhere.

Overall this was a nice hote l but I can’t give it 5stars due to some issues. The first being house keeping sucked. We stayed in the executive suite for 3 nights and I had to complain to the front desk for our cleaning service and it was almost 6pm. That Sunday once again no service till after 6 again. She didn’t replace any soap or lotion When there was 3people in our room. So she missed out on a tip we would have left had She not skipped us completely on Saturday and Sunday only did a half of a job. Now let’s get into breakfast every morning. 3days of nooooo bacon! Really?? Sausage for 2 morning’s and on Monday some dry ham. Wow I guess no one there is a bacon lover lol. My husband said he couldn’t wait to have some bacon for dinner because of this. Other than that We enjoyed our visit. The valet parking was on top of things and the bartenders were very attentive. Oh and thanku to the front desk for paging the housekeeping to service our room.

Pretty impressive property, honestly. Rooms are *enormous* — the room I had (although I think I was upgraded due to some Hilton status) included a massive living room with bed and sitting area, as well as a large bedroom with two beds. They have the same comfy Hilton property beds I like, a nice modern bathroom with good shower water pressure, and… fitted sheets. Wonderful. The staff were also very friendly and competent.
Along with the room, you get a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, including an omelette bar, as well as an evening lounge for a few hours, including a good variety of snacks and a reasonable selection of drinks. Factoring that in to the price, which might be a bit on the high side during the week, it’s a pretty reasonable rate. There’s also a good bar and restaurant attached to the property if you don’t feel like leaving.
The only thing I didn’t like was the valet parking. Just seemed odd to be charging $ 17/​day for parking when the Hampton Inn across the street has self park for free. So far this Embassy Suites was inexplicably cheaper than the Hampton by enough that the room + parking at the Embassy was still better than the Hampton, but that might not always be the case, so something to keep in mind if you’re just looking for Hilton points in the Buffalo area.
If you’re looking for a hotel in the downtown Buffalo area, this is a very good option.

This hotel has a very diverse clientele. During the week they have many business guests. Weekends seems to be more tourists or locals «getting away for the weekend». It was quite noticeable when we spent a lot of time here a few weeks ago with our own out of town guests.
While I did not actually sleep in one of the rooms, I learned a lot about the hotel. The gym is a more or less typical hotel gym, so not huge, but the equipment is well maintained and the room is clean. They have towels there for your convenience. The pool is small and not great for laps but it’s a nice room and pool to play in.
The rooms themselves are large and well maintained as well. They are the «suite» model which is always nice for longer stays. The beds are large. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms could use an update but they are functional.
The breakfast here is great. Plentiful. Well served. The employees are very nice.
Parking here is not fun. Valet parking is an option and it’s costly. Street parking is not readily available. We had to make arrangements a number of times to leave the car out front for 20 min or whatever. While the staff worked with us it was never an easy process.
If you are looking for a place downtown this is a good option. Especially if you don’t have a car to manage.

3 overall, it’s a chain afterall.

Every time I stay here I get a jacuzzi suite. The suites are luxurious and very comfortable. It’s located right in the heart of downtown convenient to everything. Prices are reasonable and the service is top notch

Overall, my husband and I were still very satisfied with the Embassy Suites. Great staff, very very very comfortable beds, tons of room in the Executive Suites, Crabtree & Evelyn bath products, etc.
I did find that the soaking tub did not seem to be as clean as it was the last time we stayed, though. Maybe it was just my mistake by turning the jets on, but there was a fair amount of gunk in the tub afterward.

Road trip to Buffalo and me and done friends ended up staying here for the night.

Rooms are big and clean, stayed in a two bedroom suite, also had a fold out couch. Two lcds, huge bathroom jacuzzi, shower is big but needs more ledges or holders though in there
Valet staff is great, they are friendly and fast, and dropped us off at a restaurant a few miles away
Gym on the second has a very nice: full of treadmills, bikes, elliptical, free weights up to 50lbs, leg press, an multigym. Clean good gym matting, and plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised using this. There is a smallish pool next door to the gym that you can see through the window, but may be fill of young loud kids!
Bar was so lacking, they didnt have a major liquor that my friends and I
wanted, and when I asked if he she knew how to make a specific drink, she starting spitting off the wrong ingredients, so I settled for shots. Another time my friend ordered a drink he seriously had to wait 15 minutes to get it after ordering it. Surrounding bars around the strip are much cheaper, faster, and friendlier, would definitely recommend going out for a drink.
Overall, very pleased with our stay there, it’s very comfortable, friendly staff, clean, but avoid the bar, and go to a real one on the strip, it’s walking distance away.

After just staying at the W in San Francisco, I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect at the Embassy Suites in Buffalo, NY.

This hotel is off-​the-​chain awesome. The exterior is just as modern as the inside. Everything is new, clean, sleek but without being cold. Me likey!
The rooms? For lack of a better word, they’re huge. You get a living space with a dining table, at least two closets, a pimpin’ bathroom and a huge bedroom with additional television. Umm, I thought I was in a mini apartment! And let me reiterate the warm feeling of this place, while still being über chic. It’s a hard balance, but someone has to do it.
My room was actually ready for me when I arrived early and the great service I received didn’t end after that. The valet was great, front desk service was spot-​on and in general, all the staff looked happy to be there.
The location is also fabulous, meaning you’re right in the center of pretty much everything you might need. Coffee? Bars? Cute, local businesses? All there within just a short walking distance. Well, at least if it wasn’t as cold as it was when I was visiting.
Being as exhausted as I was from previous travel, I did not get to partake in what I heard was their killer, made-​to-​order, complimentary breakfast. I was also equally bummed that my schedule didn’t allow for me to join the wine happy hour, which is also free. I’m telling you, this place is amazing. Plus free wifi… it’s like they’re in my head.
I’m not one to play favorites, but I have to say that even the fancy-​smancy places in big cities might have some competition with this hotel location. Especially with the bang you get for your buck! Woot!

Staying here while in Buffalo.
It used to be a federal state building, but it was all gutted and became Embassy Suites from floors 1 through 8 and a mélange of offices/​condos from floor 9 and up. Entrances are separate.
Pros:
— rooms are verrrrry spacious, as are the hallways
— many nearby coffee shops (including Starbucks) and restos around within walking distance
— fairly close to the freeway and the Peace Bridge (if you’re jonesing to go to Canada)
— super friendly staff
— free warm breakfast, including an omelet bar
— Manager’s Reception (free drinks and apps) nightly
Cons:
— Manager’s Reception (compared to other Embassy Suites, it’s lacking with the apps)
— no parking on site (you’re only left w valet parking … if your car is banged up, it’s your problem)
— elevator access (you have to swipe your key before using, which is really annoying when your hands are full)
As you can see from the list, the pros outweigh the cons. I would def recommend Embassy Suites on Delaware.
A solid 4 star here.
