It looks like some things have improved with this place. When I went with my 2 daughters, the service was pleasant., I made the reservation ahead of time and when we got there, there were 6 people working on us with everything ready. The nail technicians were talking nicely with us and did a fairly good job.
The ambiance is classy and the place is big! There’s even a grand piano in the middle of the room.
I would come back again.

I’ve been here several times now and can say that I believe it’s one of the best nail salons in the area. I think perhaps that some of the not great reviews may be due to the fact that some of the employees here are a little less experienced than in some places. They’re learning and do seem to pay attention to detail.
There are more than enough pedicure stations, a separate manicure room if you’re not getting a pedicure and the décor is very sophisticated and clean.
Tum is awesome for every service and Ken is very gentle with gel manicures. I will be coming back often.

The worst mani/​pedi I’ve ever received. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and this place was dreadful. They had opened about a month earlier and sent me a mailer with specials but no expiration date. I called them and was assured the discounts would be honored for a gel mani/​pedi combo which included a free brow wax. The salon is beautiful and the location close to my home so I was hoping to have a good experience.
I was greeted pleasantly, given a massage chair and offered a beverage immediately. Although not the whole 12oz can of soda just a small cup filled with ice and wasn’t allowed more. The person who greeted me spoke perfect English, however she apparently left for the day shortly after my arrival. My tech did not speak English and communication was difficult. The pedicure was sloppy. The cuticle trimming painful and the shape was odd. I chose a dark color as I was flying to a funeral the next morning so mistakes were very noticeable.
After the pedicure, the tech walked me to another room in the back for the gel manicure. That seemed silly since others were not busy and both could have been done simultaneously, especially if there were time constraints since everything seemed rushed. The tech used a Dremel tool to remove my existing gel polish. My nails are natural and I asked her to put the tool away and wrap them in cotton soaked acetone instead. She put my whole hand in a huge bowl of acetone. No and no one should have to be knocked out by toxic fumes either. Yet another communication breakdown so I showed her myself. After 2 minutes she began scraping, getting progressively harder til I pulled away. Natural nails are more delicate than that. Then she took out the Dremel tool again. That’s when I almost walked out. A male employee walked by and I told him the situation. He explained it to her, walked away and then she started scraping again. No more acetone. The previous color was left on some nails. Her cell phone rang incessantly, with ringer on full volume not vibrate. Apparently friends calling to make plans after work, and she answered every call, speaking at length. It’s loud enough I can hear the other parties who spoke English by the way. Hmm. She’s now rushing even more to finish. Closing time was an hour away per the hours posted. She did not shape them properly or even file all of them. The phone calls made her lose track I guess. One hand was given more attention than the other. The residue from the filing was never wiped off. And the previous gel was still visible. Not a clean canvas to paint on expecially gel based polish. I complained but she didnt understand. I would have left but had a plane to catch before sunrise and a wake that afternoon. She applied no base or top coats just two coats of gel polish allowing only one curing session under the lamp per hand. Air bubbles and streaks were visible before even leaving the table. The improper filing caused sharp and jagged edges with gel hanging over the sides. I practically ran out of there screaming. They could keep their free brow wax.
Someone I hadn’t seen earlier was at checkout. When she gave me the total I was not pleased. It was $ 30 higher than the mailer I was told would be honored. She & the tech spoke in Vietnamese. She did speak English and said no discounts would be given. When I reached for my wallet the polish had smudged on several nails, the original red polish was showing through the new dark polish and was already lifting on the sides. The gel was tacky and malleable to the touch, not set like gel should be once cured. When I showed this to the woman she just shrugged. Seriously? Who does that in a professional capacity to a client? I hadn’t even left her salon yet! Just a sloppy and unprofessional job in every aspect. For a new business, they had no concern over quality of service or the satisfaction of their clients. I will never go back. I had hoped they’d improved since opening, but recent reviews show they haven’t changed a thing.

So first look, the place looks fancy and great! But don’t judge this place by its cover cause the employees talk crap about their clients while they do their nails. Me and wife visit different nail shops and review for service and it helps that my wife speaks Vietnamese because we know when they are being rude since most nail shops are owned by Vietnamese people. After my wife staying quiet pretending she didn’t understand anything they were saying we go and pay and tell the manager of what happened and the manager accuses my wife of not understanding Vietnamese and proceeds to test her Vietnamese to make sure she wasn’t lying. The whole situation proves that their business is bad from the core of
Management and need improvements before they spend all that money on the presentation of the place.

Had a great time here. They offer a free glass of wine. They had a lot of pedicure chairs and it doesn’t smell like your typical nail salon with all the chemicals. Free WiFi too. It can get pretty busy on the weekends but thats pretty standard.

I’ve visited this nail salon twice now. The first experience was decent, the second makes me never want to return. Everything appears nice and clean and the manicurist were very professional and gentle (the 1^st time!).
On my first experience, they gave me my pedicure tools in a bag to take home, not a fan of that — gross!
I went back this past weekend hoping to get in a quick Mani with Gel & Pedicure. I called ahead to make sure they had availability, and I was told there was «plenty of room», even gave them my name. When I arrived, everything went smoothly. The Lady began my pedicure after soaking my gel polish to remove. About 10 min later, I asked the Lady to remove the acetone enclosed wraps off my fingers as they were starting to hurt/​burn. She hastily removed them and began scraping off the old gel as she «argued» at another tech (the manicurist) who was working on another client. After she finished this, she rushed off to help another client, who had just walked in, and passed me onto another tech would be finishing my pedicure. (Rude!) I sat there for about 5 minutes before the new tech began my other foot. The 2^nd tech was much more harsh and my 2^nd foot pedi was much rougher than the 1^st foot. :/​
Eventually, the manicure tech came over, and had to re-​do the acetone removal again on the poorly stripped gel from the 1^st Lady, and scrapped at them again. :(
After about 45 minutes, my pedicure was finished, but my manicure was just starting. I asked the tech why it was taking so long, as I was told it was not busy — she told me they had 2 techs not show up that day. Needless to say, I did not have another hour to wait for gel polish, so I decided to leave.
When they checked me out, I was charged for the gel removal (even though it was hastily done and had to be done 2x), plus the pedi & mani with no polish. I ask why I was being charged for the gel polish removal when it was done so poorly, and was told it was being charged for service rendered. It cost me $ 52 for all this hassle.
No personal attention to customers and very small ‘aim to please’ or ‘make things right’ attitude. And after all that, I’m surprised my cuticles are not bleeding more. The only reason I gave 2 Stars is because of the clean and nice facility.

Two stars because it’s a beautiful place. But an empty salon on a Saturday morning speaks volumes about the skill of the employees. Almost $ 30 for a basic pedicure is too much, considering their lack of experience. No cuticle softener, fumbling and unsure of what to do next. It’s like he studied a you tube video, not knowing why they do what they do. The tips of my toenails aren’t painted, so they’ll chip in less than a week. No offer for a design. Color on my skin. I could go on, but…

Very nice looking nail salon but never going here again. Had the rudest person to do my nails. He was saying in Vietnamese about how bad my nails looked and if he couldn’t fix them that he’d quit doing nails forever also made me bleed and had the audacity to say «you’re hurt?» with an attitude. I’ve also noticed that their basic pedicure prices were higher than the last time I came there. I can go somewhere else that’ll do as good of a job for cheaper than $ 38. Just a gel mani and two pedis cost $ 92 this visit. My advice… look for a different nail place.

This is my second visit here, and I can’t say I’m overly impressed. On my first visit, I came with a friend. We were seated in pedicure chairs immediately & initially I was pleased that it appeared that, rather than doing our manicures during our pedicures (I don’t find it very relaxing) they completed our pedicures first. However, while I was moved to the separate room to complete my manicure, my friend was made to stay in the pedicure chair during hers, oddly enough. We came together, should have been able to sit together. Our services were okay, manicures better than pedicures. I will say that Benny, the owner, gifted us both a hand lotion and gave me 2 $ 5 gift cards to give to my neighbors (very smart). I came back today because of his hospitality and professionalism only.
Today, I came by myself, and explained that I was in a little bit of a hurry, and would go ahead and have both services at once. The girls at the front discussed at length who would be completing my services (I got the feeling they were short staffed and were a bit uncomfortable with my simple pedicure and gel manicure). After they began, I understood why. My pedicure was pretty much the worst. And I’ve had a lot of pedicures. I could barely feel anything as she was working, and sure enough, she did not clean my nail beds well at all (upon checking afterward). She applied a liquid callous remover to my feet, and possibly left it on too long? I let her know it was burning a bit, but when she removed it and started scrubbing, I began to bleed immediately. I was told it was because I had a scrape on my foot. I certainly didn’t when I arrived. No apology.
Then there’s the manicure. This young lady began to try to remove my gel polish with a dremel tool, a bit aggressively and clumsily. Dug into my already thin nails a few times. I was already getting the feeling she was inexperienced by this time, and then the polish came out. My nails beds are FULL of polish. Every single one. She tried to correct this with a brush dipped in remover in between coats, but it happened with every single coat. Then she tried to file some of the excess away, and trapped the dust under the top coat, even after I mentioned this may happen and the nails needed to be cleaned first.
Please know, I am a cosmetologist and have done nails before. If gel polish touches the edge of the skin or the cuticle, it will almost certainly lift within a few days. I have a feeling I will be having to remove these within a few days unfortunately. When I politely asked how long she had been doing nails, I got a very long pause and then «2 year.» I have a feeling that was a pretty big fib. This took almost 2 hours, even though I mentioned that I was in a hurry. I have a feeling that all these nail techs are BRAND NEW or even still in training, and they barely speak English. I have no problem with them speaking the language they are most comfortable in with each other, but if you are going to service American men and women, you should be able to communicate the basics («short or long, does that hurt, I’m sorry, etc). I didn’t have time to mention any of this to the owner, I had to leave to catch a plane, but I most certainly will. Being in the industry, I know there’s nothing worse than someone having a bad experience, not letting you know, and just never coming back. You can’t fix anything if you aren’t aware of what’s going on!
Moral of the very long story– I want to love this place. They are close to my house and have a beautiful, clean facility. I want them to be successful. However, I will be waiting quite some time before I revisit. Maybe their staff will have a bit more experience. Hopefully they will still be in business by then!
