Completely dissatisfied! I booked a regular maintenance appointment for my two fully working AC units, both upstairs and downstairs for last Friday. Since the temperature was going up to 108 the following Monday, I wanted to have peace of mind we were in good shape.
My technician called at the end of my two hour window and told me he would be an hour late. Fine…
My technician suggested additional work, clearing a drain line and upgrading a filter. Fine. By the end, my $ 245 regular maintenance came out to $ 375. But peace of mind is worth it, right?
The technician left saying both units were all good. Great! I went upstairs afterwards, and all of the lights were flashing on my unit, and no cold air was coming out. It had flipped the circuit breakers — we flipped them back, reset the unit — anything we could think of to do on our own. We even got out the manual! It was Friday night now, and we were in for a long hot weekend of not being able to use our own bedroom.
We made it through the hot weekend, though uprooted, and I contacted Airtech about our problems. I got no response. For two days. I told them to refund me the $ 95 I paid for the now broken unit and fix it for no additional fee, and we’d be good. Today, three days since I contacted them and 5 of the hottest days on record after the technician broke my upstairs AC, they tell me they will refund me just the $ 95 but won’t fix it or ever do my service again. NO PROBLEM, I wouldn’t have you do it again! But seriously, you broke it and won’t even try to fix it? That was a $ 4500 unit I had installed just last summer, and you broke it and won’t fix it?! Great work, Airtech. I hope people will learn from this and not use Airtech in the future. People, for your own good. They do NOT guarantee their work, obviously.
I forgot to mention — some reviewers have commented on how good it was to get service since they have pets at home. I’m being REFUSED repairs for problems they caused, and I’m pregnant with my husband and three hot dogs in the house. Pregnant lady just can’t catch a break in this heat!

This is my second five star review for AirTech!
They installed our AC system a few years ago and did a great job. Saturday, it stopped blowing cold air (no fault of theirs). I was able to contact them that afternoon and get an appointment for today, Monday, at 1 p.m. But, Leo, the owner called around 10 a.m. and said he’d be able to come by early. He fixed the problem in about 30 minutes.
We are very grateful as it is extremely hot right now (99 degrees yesterday and over 100 degrees today). It has been uncomfortable for us but we were worried about our two dogs and our cat since high heat can be deadly for small animals.
Thank you Leo and AirTech for responding so quickly and for fixing our AC! I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Oscar was an angel! Other HVAC companies said my rooftop AC needed to be completely replaced but Oscar fixed it! If those other companies were looking to score a quick (expensive) buck, its their loss because Air Tech has my business forever. Honest and reliable. And kind.

We moved into this house in August 2015 from the East Coast. It had an old-​fashioned forced air heating system and no central air and asbestos in the attic. We received 4 estimates. AirTech was the next to the lowest bid, and the most professional and least high-​pressure. My 30-​year HVAC man from MD looked at all the estimates and said he thought AirTech was best, partly because they use excellent Bryant equipment and came out with a bid that he considered reasonable and fair: especially for this climate: high-​grade AC and medium grade heater, since it never gets all that cold here anyway.
Air Tech arranged for another company to clear the asbestos out of the attic, and this was done by ceiling off the rest of the house, so that we didn’t have to leave. This took most of a work day to complete. The next day the Air Tech people came by. they set up the heater in the attic, added new registers and ducts and placed a state-​of the art compressor in the back yard. The new thermostat is connected to our WIFI.
The workers were 4 in number – all very polite and professional. They also were very neat – removing all rubbish from our premises. The job took 2 ½ days to complete. They were systematic and consistent. I couldn’t be happier with their service.
All in all it was a very positive experience at every stage, and I would recommend them to anyone needing new HVAC work. Our house is now up-​to-​date and comfortable, thanks to AirTech.

Airtech has been servicing my HVAC unit for the past 1.5 years with exceptional work and customer service.
I recently hired a 3rd Party Air Duct cleaning company and they mistakenly informed me that my HVAC unit is missing a filter and has not been maintained. I immediately called Airtech to resolve this matter and they answered my phone call during non-​working hours and scheduled an appointment ASAP at no charge to come and verify that they have indeed been working on the correct unit.
Thanks again Oscar for going above and beyond to resolve this matter. I truly appreciate it!!!

Been using Air-​Tech for 3 years now. I buy the contract that gives you a break on the price that is good even without the contract. They are prompt, honest, and check everything. Change and remove old filters. Always wear a uniform that let you know who they are, when you answer the door. Want great, prompt service? Give Air-​Tech a call!

We returned from vacation to find our heater wasn’t working. I called four places and they were the only ones who would come out ASAP and their service call charge was less than our regular vendor. Oscar was nice, explained everything to us, and came back with the needed parts and handled the installation on the same day knowing they were coming up on being closed for four days due to the holidays. Love this Burbank business and will absolutely use them again.

I called Air Tech a year ago when my ageing wall furnace stopped working. Oscar came out and decided the burner (?) unit needed to be rebuilt. He returned a couple of days later to install the refurbished unit. Since then he has returned twice (including today) at no charge to make adjustments even though the original work was out of warranty. He really took ownership of the repair. I thought the original repair was pricey but the subsequent service was so over-​the-​top that I am quite satisfied.
Oscar is polite, quiet-​spoken and just a stand-​up guy. If I finally decide to install a new furnace, I’ll call Air Tech again.

My a/​c stopped working on a Sunday morning during a 100+ degree heatwave. My call was returned quickly and my a/​c was fixed on Monday. It turned out to be the dual capacitor which they replaced. They only charged a service fee as the unit was still under warranty — they originally installed a new a/​c and heating system in 2010. I highly recommend them!

We called AirTech after hearing (and seeing) dripping coming from an exterior drain from the attic. I knew we’d never seen the water come from there before, so after some googling, we figured that the main A/​C line must be clogged, and it was now dripping from the secondary/​emergency drain. We called AirTech, and they scheduled us for a next-​day appointment.
They came right at the beginning of the promised time window (awesome!), and were courteous, and professional. They didn’t pressure us to do anything we didn’t need to do, and he unclogged the drain as well as vacuumed out the accumulated water in the drip pan. The unit has stopped dripping outside, and is working just like it was before!
Fees were completely reasonable, and we will definitely be calling them again if we need anything HVAC related.

It’s HOT in Burbank, must be August! Our AC went out and we called AirTech to see if they could fit us into their busy schedule. Oscar came out the next afternoon. Such a nice, efficient and friendly guy. He checked out the system and replaced the burnt motor in our condenser unit and replaced the capacitor. In no time he had our AC working again. Hooray! AirTech is a local (Burbank) business, but they work all over L.A. If you need some HVAC work done, give them a call.

Thank you Air Tech for promptly responding to my service call. My AC went off last night at the start of week-​long heatwave. Called Air Tech today and was given a same day appointment. Oscar arrived at the appointment time and immediately diagnosed a defective thermostat. He also recommended replacing the compactor but did not exert sales pressure. Oscar provided a top notch, professional job.
Con: The service call has been recently increased to $ 125 which is quite steep for residential owners. However, I did receive a discount for replacing the thermostat and compactor. My suggestion to Air Tech is to provide lower service call fee to residential owners than commercial due to the less-​complex work. Overall, I am pleased with Air Tech service and will recommend it!

I am updating my review, as I called Air tech last week to come out again this year because my AC was overworking not not working well. Once again Oscar came out and did a great job, it just needed a new filter and cleaning, and is working fine again. Just a service call charge. Leo and his guys replaced our old heating and air conditioning unit from the 70s with new Bryant unit in December 2013. It has been working great ever since. They also installed brand new duct work for the whole house. There was recently an issue with the drain pump, but Leo sent one of his technicians over on short notice and they fixed it under warranty. I would refer you to AirTech if you are looking for professional service.
