DO NOT GO TO THIS PlACE ! Total rip off. I missed my appointment and they sent me a bill for 88 $ this place is no good. I’ve never dealt with such money hungry people. I only gave 1 star cause I had to.

I went to have my bridge recemented that they put on a few years prior… Dr. Ananian first off charged 300 hundred for the visit while it should of been taken care of since he put it in… he left cement under the bridge which caused an abscess 3 weeks later. I was in Texas at my in laws. had to see their dentist who put me on antibiotics.. which also costed me money for that visit… a month later I went to the oral surgeon to have the bridge removed, abscess removed… now I have no bridge and 3 missing teeth on that side that need implants… long story short had he cleaned it better and not left the cement under the bridge it would of saved me teeth and about 10 grand for all the dental, oral surgeon and implants I am now in the middle of. The office took off 2 hundred dollars. woopie…the worst dentists I’ve ever been to. I wish you could do minus stars but I had to choose one.

I’ve been a patient at this practice since 2003. I go every six months, right on schedule, and have never received anything but exceptional treatment from Dr. Ananian and staff. They are efficient, friendly and never treat me like I’m just another profit for them. A couple of years I went ahead and got the express Invisalign treatment. Dr. Ananian was great about explaining all the steps involved, how the trays worked, any pain/​discomfort I might have felt due to the treatment, etc. Billing my insurance has always quick and uncomplicated. Thankfully I’m blessed with really good teeth so I’ve never had a cavity filled or any other complicated treatments, but I’m sure if I ever do that Dr. Ananian will fix me up! I can’t recommend this office enough. I have recommended the office to a couple of people and they seem really happy, too. I wish all of my medical professionals were as awesome as Dr. Ananian!

Dr. Arbi Ananian is a fantastic dentist. He’s friendly and compassionate. I would recommend him to the world. He’s office is organized and clean. Everybody is friendly and he tries to save you money. He’s absolutely the best and if you have any type of a phobia he’s the dentist for you. And it’s a plus that he does Invisalign !

I did not enjoy my experience with this office nor Dr Ananian. I went there to have pain in my tooth checked out. Turns out my wisdom tooth was pushing into my molar. When Dr Ananian was looking at my X-​rays he stood behind me saying things like «oh wow» without telling me what was going on, furthering my complete fear of dentists. When he finally told me what was wrong he said I needed to have my wisdom tooth and molar removed and said I needed an implant for the molar, immediately leaves, and sends his assistant in with a price quote for an implant. Thousands of dollars I cannot afford, as my insurance doesn’t cover implants. Then the assistant hesitantly recommended a single tooth denture for a lot less money. Still very expensive so I and I basically left there in tears. Of course I decided to get a second opinion. I went to a different dentist that was clearly more experienced, as he told me I did not need to get the tooth removed and should get a root canal instead to save the molar, which is something Dr Ananian never even recommended as a possibility. My root canal was also cover by my insurance and only cost me a few hundred out of pocket instead of thousands. I felt that this dentist only saw me as a profit and didn’t care about my well being.

This guy is the bomb! I am very hard on dentists and doctors and it has taken me a very long time to find a dentist that I like going to. Dr. Ananian and all of this assistants are AMAZING. They are gentle and instead of criticizing problem areas on your teeth, they show you where they are and how to improve them. They are always friendly and never judgmental. They are also incredible accommodating schedule-​wise. I have been a loyal patient for almost 2 years and have recommended him to a number of friends who also love him!

I am very please with this dentist. I made an appointment here to get a second opnion on my teeth. Earlier that week I had seen Askari with Media District Dentistry and Braces and was told by him that I needed a deep cleaning and had 8 cavities. Since it turned out he wasn’t in my dental network and would have maxed out my $ 1,500 dental coverage with 6 fillings costing me $ 1,200 for the rest of the work he said I needed I decided to get a second opnion in my dental network.
I am so glad I got a second opinion (and so is my wallet). Not only did they check right away if I needed a deep cleaning when I asked (I didn’t) but they also very friendly. While the cleaning hurt a bit more then it probably should have I was just happy to get one as the other place insisted I needed a deep cleaning.
Then Dr. Ananian came in and told me that the film x-​rays from the other dentist weren’t very good and asked if he could have digitial x-​rays. I asked how much that would cost since I had just got xrays done and knew my insurance wouldn’t cover another set. He went and got the price and made me a deal, he said that if they do the digital xrays and it turned out I had 8 cavities then he would not charge me for the xrays, otherwise it would cost me about $ 110.
I said fine, I figured even if it turned out I only had 6 they’d already saved me a lot more money by insisting I didn’t need a deep cleaning. Dr. Ananian could have said I had 5 cavities or 7 and got me to pay for the xrays and got the money for doing the fillings. But no. He told me I had NO cavities, just one tooth he wants to keep an eye on.
It is so nice finding an honest dentist. Dr. Ananian gains nothing by telling me I had no cavities other than gaining a patient (and if I can refer people to him I will).
Plus he’s a Star Trek fan, which my inner geek loves.

I highly recommend this office. Clean and modern. The staff is friendly. There are televisions in every room. You dont have to listen to any noise you can just have headphones on and listen to music. Dr. Ananian is my favorite. His friendly and very conservative in diagnosing treatments. He does invisalign which is great for me. I totally recommend this place. Also, they’re open from 7 am! He also does invisalign which is a plus!!!
He has come in on a Sunday for me for a toothache I had. He is truly a great guy.

I never thought I’d write a review of a dentist, but this guy is a gem.
I usually go to Dr Rosen in Canoga Park, but I always felt like I was in the presence of a used car salesman. Apparently I’m not alone from the reviews.
So I chipped my tooth, and needed a dentist, FAST. A friend recommended Dr. Ananian, and after a pleasant phone call with the staff («You have a chipped tooth? Let me talk to the doc for a second and see how fast i can get you in here.»), I was sert with my appointment.
Staff was polite, professional, and had great personality. The doc was calm, in no rush, and explained everything to me. Front tooth chipped, so he explained what he could do now (basic fill), and what could be done in the future (veneer). Explained cost, pros and cons, how long I could expect it to last.
No pressure, no upsell, no rush to get me in and out. Just a genuine concern for the patient. Sat with me after and asked how I felt, if I had any questions, etc.
This is my new dentist. End of Story. =)

Very happy here. I finally went the Invisalign treatment and was very pleased with result. They are usually very prompt and the premises are very clean and modern.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Carslon, Dr. Hecht, and Dr. Ananian for about 20 years. I started coming to this office when I was 8 years old! Super clean and stylish office. Friendly hygienists and the Dentists are all great. I needed major bonding/​capping done on my two front teeth and Dr. Hecht (who is an artist too) did a marvelous job and they look perfectly normal now. I will not go anywhere else!
I had to go on my husband’s insurance when we got married 8 years ago and switched dentists. BIg mistake!!! Was thoroughly freaked out by the other dentist and said I needed a ton of work and deep cleaning… Paid out of pocket to come back to Dr. Hecht who reassured me that nothing was wrong. Thankfully, my husband got a new job with new benefits and we are back to Dr. Hecht!

I highly highly highly recommend this place! My dentist is Anne Hecht and she is so sweet. I’ve had several horrible experiences at other dentists who’ve told me I had to get all this work done that I ended up not needing. I went to Dr Hecht for a second opinion and I found her to be honest and trustworthy. I think she alone has saved me a few thousand dollars. It is such a relief to finally find a dentist I trust! As long as I live in this area I will never go anywhere else.

I love love this place. I am super scared of the dentist and everyone here is great. Its super clean, fast and just great leaving here happy. I recommend this dentist office to everyone.

only been there once but clean, friendly, quick, nice. Didn’t tell me I automatically need teeth scaling as so many dentists do. Have a friend who swears blind by him. Would definitely go back. Plus I’m a sucker for a free toothbrush.
