History

Established in 1994.

Established by Steve Bedaux, CAS (a production mixer /​supervisor) in 1994, CineLUX Sound Services Inc. (CSS) rented audio packages to network news stations. As their specialized inventory grew from just one mixer with four wireless systems, CineLUX has evolved to one of the largest independent owners of Lectrosonics Wireless and Sound Devices Mixers /​Recorders. While supplementing many larger rental houses inventories through the US, CSS just recently open their doors to independent mixers, production companies and students after just recently moving to their new Burbank Location. CineLUX Sound Services Inc. rents pro-​audio equipment packages, including ENG Kits, digital mixing consoles, multi-​track recording packages, wireless systems, IFB, walkies and communications for live broadcast, commercials, features and reality projects. CSS even has an insert stage with a personal prep area for clients. CineLUX offers the latest equipment at exceptional prices with amazing service!

After graduation from AFI, Steve Found his niche in sound mixing. Having moved from live stage to broadcast TV was an interesting jump. While mixing for all of the major news networks morning shows and and evening news broadcasts, Steve mixed, on several high profile news specials. As reality and hidden camera shows came onto the scene, Steve was lucky enough to be on the forefront. Having designed several audio system formats, Steve has amassed an amazing inventory Being able to share his knowledge and experience with other mixers and productions while streamlining packages keeps rental costs to a minimum. Maintaining an extensive equipment inventory while keeping overhead to a minimum allows for amazing prices for great gear.
