Good food, reasonable prices. The service is adequate. The duck is ok. Other dishes are typical. Not bad…

I have been ordering from this place for the last 5 years but this past Saturday I ordered food using my credit card and was double charged. Actually my card was used to order someone else’s food also. And this was done at the restaurant by an employee. They say it was accident but this was done later on in the evening and no one ever called me to say it was a mistake I had to go up there to complain and now I’m waiting for a refund from them. $ 56 worth of food. Watch your credit card order This restaurant is playing games it refunded me $ 50 instead of $ 56. I will never order from this place again and I suggest that you not order from this place especially not by credit card.

Food was not good and service is ok but the cooks are not tentative to customer’s requests. I specifically asked for no onions on my veggie noodles but got tons of it!

Ordered sweet and sour pork and mushu chicken. With delivery and a tip, it came to $ 30. Not worth $ 30. Don’t get me wrong, the food arrived quickly and by a nice delivery person, but the food was just average. Not different than most Chinese food places. Not bad, but not great either. It’s ok.

Disappointing… When you have a craving and your mouth is watering for«spicy kung Pao»! This is not the place to order from. My kung pao was brown and tasted sweet and very dull! Not spicy!

A friend brought us take out food from this place and it was the lightest Chinese food I’ve ever had. I wish they were closer to us.

For one, either the restaurant or the delivery guy did not pay attention to the instructions to call instead of ring the bell. But that can be excused if the food is fulfilling. But it’s not. I wish I had more packets of soy in order to give these cardboard noodles some flavor! I wish it was just the noodles I had a problem with. But the hot and sour soup is bland and definitely not at all hot. Overall, the food was crap, delivery was crap. Would not suggest this unless you’re super high as hell and this is the only restaurant that’s open.

We returned for another go around and I have zero complaints this time. The food was excellent, the service prompt, and the check swift(I hate waiting on a check). Yum! Will be back for sure.

I got some food delivered to my apt. It was pretty good. The delivery time was about a half hour. The walnut chicken is excellent so are the steamed dumplings. The egg rolls are not the best they are just ok. I will definitely get food here again.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! Very rude people & not to mention their food is not that great. It’s very average tasting Chinese(American) food. Not much flavor. I will not be back here. Also, the wontons were empty — deep friend nothingness :( Save your money & go elsewhere, folks!

This is the only local restaurant that I’ve found that has crispy walnut chicken the dish here is great. Lotus is my go-to for delivery. All of their dishes taste good and are from fresh ingredients. Their egg foo young is delicious and I highly recommend it.

It’s so disappointing, because their food is typically good. But tonight everything changed. The delivery time is so slow! The past couple times we’ve order they are at least 20 minutes past the 60 min mark. If you call to check on your order, the people on the phone are so rude. Then, tonight, when they finally showed up they said we owed more money than what their online ordering site had said. I had entered in a $ 4 tip online and had the right amount of cash ready to go and then the delivery person was all hung up because it wasn’t the right amount! WHAT? I had to give him $ 5 more to cover the cost of «extra sauce» and I think the tip! There shouldn’t have even been a tip, but I couldn’t find the extra two bucks I owed. I feel like I even got screwed out of that tip money. Really extra sauce costs $ 5 extra bucks … I bet he got tipped $ 9. I would NEVER do that, even for good service. He should of left the receipt, but of course took it with him. After all that, the food was just ok. It has probably been quite some time since ordering from here, but I remember it being a lot tastier. The orange chicken was ok … not real crispy. I ordered the string beans for the first time to add in a veggie … terrible! I was viewing that as a side, but it is its own dish. What a waste of $ 9. They egg rolls this time were kinda like the chicken … not bad, but not very crispy. Overall, it was SO disappointing. We don’t order Chinese often and were looking forward to this. It was a huge let down. This will be the very last time we order from them … there are plenty of good Chinese food places out there. I’d definitely pass on this experience in the future!

I’ve been coming here a lot for lunch. Recently they remodeled the place and it looks and feel great. But of course more important is the food, the food is great! Very fresh and tasty, and the price is very good. Will definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Be careful what you wish for. I wanted greasy Chinese delivery, but what I got were swimming pools of oil that made some of the dishes downright impossible to eat. Of course, there were certain things that were good. Hence the three star rating. Wontons were crisp, small, but large in flavor. Anything with meat(orange chicken, beef) was passable but nothing worth getting excited about. Fried tofu was very rubbery. Even for tofu. Basically, it’s average Chinese food. As long as you know that, and keep your expectations reasonable, you can’t really go wrong here. Plus it came to my my door in a reasonable amount of time, so who am I really to complain?

Sometimes when you’re sick, all you want is soup. In my case, hot and sour soup. Lotus Chinese was the closest Chinese restaurant I could manage to drive to and pick up take-out food. The restaurant smelled a little funny. There were very few customers there that evening, which worried me. The hot and soup soup, however, was just what I wanted. I ordered a few more dishes so I could just stay in bed/home until I felt well enough to venture out/cook. The mu shu pork was delicious but the hoisin sauce was runny for some reason. So few places make mu shu anymore that I was overjoyed to see it on the menu and knew I had to try it. The signage is bad, but they have a string of lights up. The chicken chow fun was good too, they didn’t skimp on the chicken. Is it the best Chinese food ever, no. Is it good for what it is – yes. I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. More than A-OK.

++ Available to order for pick up or delivery on the EAT24 app ++ Located on the main street(Glenoaks) by 7⁄11(street parking) ++ Variety of items on the menu to choose from I took a chance and ordered on the EAT24 app for delivery. Unfortunately, I live 10 miles away and they did not deliver but pick up was also available through the app. Even though the reviews are«so so» I ordered the spicy jalapeño chicken, chicken fried rice, shrimp fried rice, orange peel shrimp, chicken chow mien, and egg rolls. All of the food was pretty good. The Jalapeño chicken was the right amount of spice if you love spicy food. The fried rice wasn’t greasy and had a good amount of flavor. The noodles were just«OK» probably won’t order that again. However, the service and deliverance of food was what it was decent. Delivery charge is only $ 1 if you live within the delivery service area.

Found Lotus through a co-worker, I do enjoy good fried rice, The chow mien wasn’t that great, mediocre to say the least. BBQ Pork Fried Rice 3 stars Egg Rolls 2 stars Veggie Chow Mien 1 star Kung Po Chicken 2 stars Nothing to really brag about, Service was okay Parking out front, careful parking on the side street by the Y as some signs are 10 minutes. Burbank does like a good parking ticket! Will I be back? Maybe?

They have great lunch and dinner specials. The people who deliver are always super friendly and they are super quick. I always try to get their fried rice or wonton soup. My kid loves their chow mein. You can’t go wrong with a lunch special and a Thai iced tea. Yummy.
