Specializes in diseases of the arterial and venous systems, such as varicose veins and PAD. San Fernando Valley Vascular Group is a group of board certified vascular surgeons specializing in the diagnosis and interventional treatment of vascular pathology. Using surgery or minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Fuad Rafidi, Dr. Zahi Nassoura, and Dr. Wesley Fung, treat obstructive and aneurysmal diseases of the carotid, peripheral, and visceral circulations, as well as venous pathology and varicose veins. We also provide creation, repair, and maintenance of hemodialysis access for patients, and port insertion and removal. San Fernando Valley Vascular Group, has a private on-site surgical suite and exam rooms, for consultations, diagnosis and treatment. Our highly trained staff ultrasound technicians provide our physicians, referring physicians and patients, with state-of-the-art imaging, for diagnosis, and follow up care, from our on-site vascular lab. We are able to provide test results in a timely manner, and are able to accommodate walk-ins, for diagnostic ultrasound imaging. We also have locations in, Tarzana, West Hills and Valencia.
History
Established in 2000.
Vascular surgeon, Dr. Joseph Bahuth, established the practice in the ’70’s. It was the only practice at the time that had a vascular lab in California.
Dr. Fuad Rafidi joined the practice in the early 80’s, and Dr. Zahi Nassoura joined the practice in the mid 90’s. San Fernando Valley Vascular Group was established in the year 2000. Dr. Joseph Bahuth retired in 2005.
In 2012, board certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Wesley Fung, joined the practice.
Our staff includes ultrasound technicians at all of our locations. The manager of our labs, Tim Oziemkowski, has been with the practice since 2001.

Business Owner
Dr. Fuad Rafidi, Dr. Zahi Nassoura, and Dr. Wesley Fung, are all board certified in vascular and general surgery. Dr. Rafidi, and Dr. Nassoura, both received their M.D. degree from the University of Beirut. Dr. Rafidi completed his training in general and vascular surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Nassoura’s post graduate internship and residency was completed at New York Medical College, his fellowship in vascular surgery was completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Fung graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and then attended New York Medical College. He competed his general surgery residency, and vascular surgery fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
