Just checked out The Missing Piece theater!!! What a great creative space! For plays and film screenings, acting workshops, casting sessions, wrap parties, art showings, band performances… the list goes on and on! Complete with green room, dressing /​make up room, patio with bar and kitchen, bathrooms, control room and front reception area! And very reasonable pricing! This really is the missing piece in my production address book!!!

The Missing Piece Theatre is one of the most lovely 50 seat theatre’s that I’ve ever had the pleasure of performing in. The outside is extremely miss-​able if you in fact don’t know what you’re looking for. However the space is a God-​send and truly a great place for any theatre project: play, worshop, class or audition space!

Saw Fred Thomas Jr. Perform his hit play «12×9»…it is a powerful masterful work of art, (Mr. Thomas directed, wrote, and produced the work)… It was strongly suggested by another fine writer and performer, Jennifer Ross… she was correct. I woke up the next morning with many of the catch lines from the play in my head– ex: «you, re in MAXIMUM SECURITY… everything ends in VIOLENCE».BRAVO

I just had my play FINDING THE BURNETT HEART produced by the Missing Piece theatre and the results and reviews were sensational. Beautiful space, full houses and satisfied audiences… plus the benefit of a cute patio and conversation bar all set up for pre, after and intermission gatherings… I would highly recommend this theatre and its new owner Colleen who is one hell of an actress in her own right.

Sweet 50 seat theatre, very well maintained. Hidden amongst the stores and businesses on Magnolia in Burbank, it has a small lobby with artwork, an intimate performance area, stylish restrooms.
There’s a lovely wine/​drink bar outside and patio area with a heat lamp and blue net curtains with firefly lights that separate it from the parking in the back. If you’re a smoker, you can go to the telephone pole in the parking lot that has an ashtray conveniently affixed to it.
The owner is warmhearted and a fine actor in her own right. I saw «Finding the Burnett Heart» here, which the owner starred it. It was an excellent production.

Short Version: Tiny theatre, big heart.
Long Version: What a great space. Located in the middle of all the studios of Burbank, The Missing Piece is a little theatre space with a lot of potential, and by that, I mean you could do anything here. The facilities are very well kept and up to date, there’s plenty of street parking. The folks that run this theatre are very friendly, and the prices for the shows are quite reasonable. Plus, they run workshops for everyone, from children to adults. If you’re in the neighborhood and are in the mood for some theatre, check’em out!
