Best Buy

I have never had better service. I came and asked questions last week and the guy wasn’t very helpful. Today Brandon in electronics went above and beyond helping us find the right system for our sons truck.

So this location has a mix of people knowing what they are talking about to completely uninformed. I came to look at the four (4) cameras I am interested in; 2 DSLRs, 1 mirrorless, 1 point and shoot. You can see I was over the entire spectrum of cameras available. One (1) associate was so knowledgeable and I would have preferred for he to help me the entire time, even though I left without a purchase. I wouldn’t have spent ~$ 700 on a camera day of anyways, as I started my research a few hours before coming in to see them and play with them a bit. The other associate I mentioned above, was practically clueless. He asked me if I needed help and when he told me a 12 GB camera could hold 8,000 pictures I knew he had less of a clue than I did when it came to all things camera. I had no need to correct him, as the other associate did before I had a chance. I would’ve ordered the camera due to him alone, if I were so inclined to make a purchase the same day.

Installation guy made an appointment for me but didn’t put it on the calendar. When I arrived for the appointment he said I wasn’t on the calendar! He tried to say he wasn’t able to schedule it because of something on Thursday ran over… but I made my appointment on Tuesday!!! I’m very disappointed and now have to rearrange my entire schedule. How hard is it to write down an appointment!!!

Big mega shopping, chain mecca. However when you need something from Best Buy, that’s what you want! Didn’t need too much help, knew what we needed, found it easily and painlessly checked out.

Inadequate or under trained staff. unable to manage incoming calls from customers effectively. The phone rang and rang, until finally being transferred to a floor associate who finally told me that the item I was calling in about was sold out anyway.
