I went here after a TERRIBLE hair dye experience at Backstage Salon in Burleson. Shandi was able to fix my hair and it turned out amazing! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Usually I don’t like to be stalked by creepy salespeople, but when I do, I go to JCPenny. I’m a fan of helpful salespeople, but I felt like a gazelle being stalked by a gang of salivating lions. Maybe it had to do with there being more salespeople in the building than customers. The apocalyptic abandoned building feel was actually kind of nice; I like shopping alone and in peace. I just could’ve done without the predatory sales-zombies. I always thought there was some unwritten rule about only needing to say, «No thanks, just looking,» one time, as opposed to two and three times, to the same person.

I haven’t been to JCPenney’s in a few years yet I needed to pick up something for an event. This location was fairly convenient to where I was traveling. Upon entering, I was greeted almost immediately by two to three cashiers in the front. It was surprising to see several cashiers and zero customers at the time. Mind you, this was about 3:30PM on a Tuesday. As I walked through several departments in route to the men’s department, I realized that I was the only customer(possibly in the store) at the time. After browsing the men’s department for a few minutes, I was approached by a female employee that gave me a brief needs assessment on what I required for my event. She assisted me in taking my measurements as well as making suggestions on certain colors and patterns of the clothing. A second female employee came in to assist the first, and gave me plenty of suggestions as well. After trying on a few clothing assortments, I realized that I may need to go to a specialty store. From here, the first female employee recommended a competitor in Fort Worth and noted that they may be more than likely the one that would have the clothing size, color and pattern that I required. Needless to say, I was greatly impressed with the customer service given by these two employees. As I noticed a few other customers arriving in the men’s department, the two employees acknowledged them yet continued to provide me with customer service sufficient enough to make me feel like the most important individual in the store. To this, I greatly appreciate.

I like this JCPenney. It’s not crazy busy and more importantly, not in a mall. It has all of the normal things Penney’s has but on a scaled-down size. It even has a salon that my wife likes and a portrait studio. The employees have always been great to us. The prices are what you expect for Penney’s I suppose.
