Had an mri on my throat today with this location. I did not get the techs name but she was amazing. White lady in her mid sixties. Made me feel very comfortable and explained everything as we went. I needed with/​without contrast and didn’t even feel the iv go in! The results were sent to my doctor same day which I didn’t expect and everything was clear. In this situation where you are nervous to begin with a good understanding tech makes all the difference!

I must update my previous review about these wonderful people. I needed another MRI when my doctor asked open or regular of course open this is the best place to go the staff very friendly and quite intelligent. Do not forget the music Pink Floyd very important. Thank you again

3 months after I get an MRI I get a lovely phone call from a billing department saying I owe health diagnostic $ 1600, and that this first warning would be my last before handing the account to a collection service. I paid these crooks $ 595 out of pocket for my MRI day of!

I visited Health Diagnostics to get an MRI of my neck after my cycling accident. They were nice and professional, and the wait time wasn’t too bad. It was my first time getting an MRI and it wasn’t as annoying as I thought it’d be.

Once again, I visited Health Diagnostics in Burlingame. The last time I visited was for a foot injury and this time for a MRI on my neck. Since there is no way I can do a regular MRI, the open MRI is great. Even though it is open, it still builds a bit of anxiety. Debbie was, once again, my technician and she is just the best. She is so comforting and checked on me in between and told me when we were halfway through each segment. I was able to get an appointment quickly and they were very accommodating. Definitely a 5 stars!

I don’t know how many technicians they have working at this facility. We had a wonderful one a few years ago when I brought my mom in for her first MRI here and this sounds like the lady who is getting the good reviews from the other reviewers. She could not have been nicer, more sympathetic or helpful — not even taking extra time to get my mom comfortable but even checking in to reassure her halfway through the procedure. My mother, now 88, needed a follow up MRI and which was scheduled for the afternoon on Wednesday, July 31^st in Burlingame. I did not get the name of this technician, so can only describe her as having dark hair and some kind of foreign accent. She was rude, unsympathetic and somewhat sarcastic. The exact OPPOSITE of the technician from a few years ago. My mother suffers from severe spinal stenosis. She is also very claustrophobic and has extremely sensitive hearing. She dreads MRIs. Everyone else at the facility was pleasant and nice until we met the technician. First she did not fully explain what my mom and I could leave on in terms of clothing and jewelry for the procedure. She then told my mom to take off her bra but didn’t tell her she could put her top back on after and treated us like we were idiots when she came in and found my mom naked from the waist up. She had no patience helping my mom get comfortable on the table and even chided her for not taking enough pain medication when my mom complained of how much pain she was in and I asked for an extra back pillow. My mom recently had a near life-​threatening reaction to the pain meds and can’t take anything now except Tylenol. When I went to set down some magazines she barked at me to «put the magazines down and help lift my mother’s legs». Mind you we are talking about moving the legs of a woman who is about 5 feet tall and weighs maybe 110 lbs. and would have been perfectly capable of moving her own legs had she been instructed to do so. She also didn’t bother to check halfway through the procedure as had the technician we had a few years ago nor do anything else to reassure my mother. Perhaps this lady was having a bad day or just is one of those people who has no patience with the elderly. Either way she made the experience much more stressful than it already was for both my mother and myself just by being so rude.

I highly recommend HD’s Burlingame and Daly City locations. The staff is super polite and very efficient. I work at a doctor’s office and deal with a lot of facilities. No matter who answers the phone at HD, they are professional, friendly, and quick!

No three letters spell anxiety like MRI for someone who is claustrophobic! The facility was nice, but the wait was longer than it should be for this type of medical service. This was my first MRI, so I had no idea what to expect. I was handed a music list and made a selection, however when the MRI began my ears were literally vibrating and I could not hear the music. The open MRI was comfortable and the technician made frequent check-​ins during the 45 minute looooooong process. The reason I give this four out of 5 stars is from feedback from friends: industry standard is patients are handed earplugs. Earplugs certainly would have made the process much less stressful.

I had a great experience overall at this facility.
Front desk — very efficient. I was in and out of there within an hour. My MRI films were waiting for me as I was walking out.
Tech– Lady was very friendly and made me feel at ease. You are able to listen to music from their playlilst. I wished she would have told me how much time was left but maybe she thought i was sleeping
Equipment — Newer MRI machine where you don’t go into a tunnel. Helps for those who are claustrophobic.
Location– Walking distance to the caltrain station.
Cost– I’lve had MRIs before from Stanford and USCF. My copay was significantly cheaper.

Great location and easy to get to. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had to get two scans today and they made my visit very pleasant.
