Donna took excellent care of me today. I came in for a much needed pedicure. She gave me the most amazing hot stone and calf massage. So happy I came here today!

I was excited to try a new place. The salon seemed to have a good vibe, it was a clean open space. What I didn’t realize is only two people work there. I waited more than 30 minutes for a full set. I was a walk in and I made sure she would be able to take me. And she said give her 20 mins. So I did. I walked to get a cup of coffee then walked back. Note I did not go to phill’s coffee that’s up the street. Then I still had to wait when I got back. Donna was to busy talking instead of paying attention to her actual work. She so worried about pleasing her customers through conversation that she forgot about the quality of work. My acrylic is already coming off and it’s less than a week that I got them done. And she’s not cheap and expects you to tip her in cash. Guess what not everyone pays in cash all the time. I feel like I was charged more bc I paid with my card. She promised me she would do a good job and it was going to the best. When I left a few of my nails were crooked and I had so much acrylic all over my cuticles. On top of that she cut me and did nothing about it. She glopped so much top coat I have air pocket bubbles. Ladies save your money and go some where else. The quality of work doesn’t match the price point.

Perfect nail spa place. Right in the center of Burlingame. Salon is really clean, unlike others. They use plastic bags for every client, the hygiene is on a top. I just moved to Bay Area and so happy I found Tip and Toe. Donna and Lina are amazing and professional. I was surprised they actually know how to cut cuticles, because I’ve been to many places, nobody does it like them. And one more important part… Hot Stone Massage, WOW!!!

Tip and toe is the best. It is good old fashioned service with the modern touches like spa chairs and a hot stone foot massage. Donna is a stickler for cleanliness which is super important to me. I’ve been coming for years and will continue to make it my one stop for nails!

I was the first time at a manicure at tip&toes and it was amazing! Donna and Lena were awesome. Everything was perfecr and relaxing begire a 12 hour flight. Of course i’ll see them again when i’m back from my trip. Thanks donna & lena!

I have been going to Donna for many years and the hot stone massage she does with her pedicure is simply wonderful. I have a difficult schedule and she always finds a way to accommodate me. Always a relaxing and wonderful experience! Furthermore, last year I lost a toenail to a skiboot injury and over several weeks Donna nursed my new toe nail back to normal!

Wow, what a great experience. My girlfriend convinced me to go for a Mani pedi, I know right! This was my first time and unbelievable, they made it such an enjoyable experience and the hot rock massage was amazing. I will be back very soon.

This salon is a little Burlingame gem! The two women who work here– Donna and Lee are clean, professional and very friendly. I have been coming for almost a year for shellac every 2 weeks and pedicures and every single time these ladies take their time and do an amazing job that really lasts. Up to date polish colors and hot stone massages included in every pedi. They are the best in town!

I just happened to stop in on a Friday afternoon and Donna was quick to fit me in. Luckily she had a cancellation! The Salon was very clean and organized. Both ladies working were friendly, talkative and made me feel very comfortable. Donna helped select a very pretty fall color for my shellac manicure and found a nice complimentary shade for my pedicure. My nails look great and my skin feels extra smooth and silky. Thank you Tip Toe! This is definitely worth a shot in the Burlingame downtown area with a lot of very close parking.

I lived in Burlingame and went to Donna, happily, for years. I moved to the coast and found a new manicurist closer to my home. I’m now back with Donna despite the drive. She and Lee do an excellent job. I like the environment – comfortable and clean, nice chairs; the service – very friendly, professional and accommodating with appointments (even at the last minute); and pricing. I’ve been a customer of Tip & Toe for many years. I wanted share my feedback on the salon and the wonderful team of Donna and Lee. The salon has been completely remodeled with all new stations including massage chairs, manicure stations, gleaming hardwood floors and fresh paint. This has created a nice bright open and cheerful space, with several windows bringing in the sun and fresh air. Whether you need a manicure and/​or pedicure, you will be pleased with the results. Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness. And yes, for you guys considering having your nails done, this is the place! Donna and Lee will make you feel at home and send you on your way with a great manicure and toes that are sandal and flip-​flop ready! Excellent prices too!

I was killing time before catching a flight home to LAX and wandered in. Donna was very sweet and welcoming. she knew I needed my nails to dry fast but I didn’t want gel, so she suggested brand new OPI Infinite Shine. it dries quick like gel but no UV and you don’t have to soak it off. I haven’t seen this polish in LA yet! she did a great job and the price was right. thanks Donna!

After trying several other businesses, my wife settled on Donna and Lee to look after her nails over 2 years ago. As I frequently dropped my wife off there, I ended up becoming a customer as well. Donna is great with appointments, we are never kept waiting and she is kind enough to text us the day before as a reminder. I get the hot stone massage every time which is very relaxing. The ladies do a great job and also keep their place very clean and tidy. Donna is over 20 years in the business which really shows in the depth of her knowledge and professional attitude. It also shows in her choice of having Lee as her «right hand woman» :-) There is on street parking right outside their door, and off street parking just 100 feet away so parking is never an issue.

I recently moved here and was looking for a guy friendly nail salon in the neighborhood when I came across Tip & Toe Salon. Donna and Lee were so welcoming and did a wonderful job. I have been going back ever since and the service is always great.

To get my nails done and this is it. Hot stone foot massage is excellent. All the products are quality, nailtiques for base coat and now my nails are strong. Getting my nails done used to be a chore and now I enjoy it!

I have been going to Dona for several years; and I can honestly say she is the best! The service at Tip and Toe is excellent. I am constantly getting compliments for my nails :) Her pedicures are the best; inc. the wonderful hot stone massage. What more can I ask for?

Rather disappointed. The color choice was limited, Donna (the owner? manager?) didn’t listen to what I wanted, and made derogatory remarks, and on top of it all, the services were overpriced. Having lived in NYC, I have been to lots of nail salons, where I’ve experienced varying levels of service at various price points. This place doesn’t live up and I’m surprised they remain in business.

It’s been 5 years since I left my first review of Tip & Toe Salon, and over 10 years since I’ve been going to see Donna, and I’m just as happy today as I was the first time I went! Donna and Lee do a flat out fantastic job. Every time I go my nails look perfect, they get me in and out in no time at all, and they’re two of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met. If you’re looking for a cheap job, go somewhere else. If you’re looking for top-​notch work, nails that will look great for weeks and people who care about doing a professional job, then this is the place for you:)

My girlfriend wanted to treat me for my first nail grooming experience so she brought me here. Lee and Donna were wonderful with my first time and took extra care of me. The place had friendly service, were reason with time and rates.
