I’ve had facials in five star resorts, fancy salons etc. Jennifer’s Sonopeel facial, I must say, is the best facial I have ever experienced. She actually took time to examine the condition of my skin prior to my treatment. It’s certainly not a «one size fits all» practice. After the facial, Jennifer hand picked a few samples of products to address my concerns and told me that I would probably see the results of the facial within a few days. Well, I woke up the next day with «new» skin. I was glowing and my skin was soft, smooth and full of moisture. My husband, who didn’t know I had a facial, looked at me (without makeup) and said, «Wow! Your skin looks amazing!» It was Jennifer’s facial. She even emailed me the next day to see if I had any sensitivity to the samples she gave me. I am going to send all my friends her way. Friendly, kind, and full of knowledge, she is a gem!

Jennifer of Unique Esthetics is THE expert on skin care. She not only reads about what is best for her clients, she tests the products on herself before recommending them. She is the skin doctor when it comes to analyzing, diagnosing and treating any issues with your skin from dealing with a pimple today to coaching you through a long term anti-​aging régime. The skin care line she carries is wonderful, a cut above other high-​end product lines like Shisedo. My skin is hydrated and glowing after only a month on her skin care régime. Apart from the advice, the actual facial treatment is heavenly and she customizes it for you so you don’t need to pick from a menu if you just want to let her treat and pamper you. She even waxed and tweezed my brows during the facial. The amount of consultation time is amazing. She spent over 2 hours with me for my initial consult and sent me home with a whole new skin care régime to try out. And as icing on the cake, she is a wonderful, sweet, and gentle person, making the whole experience 5 stars. I have added Jennifer to my dream team of consultants.

Jennifer sat down and listened to all my skin concerns. I developed some spots on my cheeks these past 3yrs & dermotologist said it’s not unusal for Asians and basically told me not to worry. The first thing Jennifer asked me was if my office had florescent lighting. Low and behold, I sat for nearly 3yrs right under a fluorescent panel and vent! Wish the dermotologists had asked me that. She was also the only person able to get out all the problematic blackheads from my nose! Every other place I’ve been to said they just couldn’t get all of them up to the surface. She also gave me samples to try & they’ve since helped to even out my spots. Jen is just amazing! Her place is very relaxing and cozy giving you the try feeling of a spa. She’s very organized and pays attention to all your concerns. I think she is the best one out there!

Based on the great Unilocal reviews, I decided to try Unique Esthetics for a facial. The reviews are spot on and I wasn’t disappointed. Jennifer rearranged things to fit me in at short notice but left me lots of time to discuss my skin, my issues, needs and concerns. She included special treatments as part of the service including the red light therapy and a brow and lip wax. I have never fallen asleep during a facial before but I did and was so relaxed afterwards. Plus my skin, which is hugely sensitive and often reacts to facials, looked fabulous and still does a week later. I will be back!

Jennifer tells you what she’s going to do, how it’s going to help your skin, what ingredients are in the products she’s using and how it makes your skin react and the benefits you will get from it. Plus the products aren’t cheap, Walgreen’s bought products. They are high quality products that make your skin feel fresh and clean. Not heavy and greasy. She also explains the benefits of all the tools and lights and steam so you know she knows what she’s talking about and cares about the service she’s giving you.

I got a facial from Jen and was so impressed from the beginning to the end. Prior to the treatment, she explained everything she was going to do, all the different types of products, types of ingredients they contain and various tools she would use. One can quickly tell she loves what she does. She keeps up with the latest technical instruments and facial remedies. She is extremely through and patiently went over my facial régime… working on how to improve overall appearance & tone. When I walked in, she greeted me with a nice hot cup of tea and then we progressed to the back room where I enjoyed my facial on the most comfortable heated bed! She also worked on my eyebrows and was very impressed on how well she defined my arch. The facial was so relaxing that I feel asleep and. may have even snored. She used a tool that did not even require painful extractions (which is what I am used to). I left feeling so clean and with a healthier glow. I also had my engagement makeup trial with Jen. The makeup stayed on all day and the look was natural and even better than I had imagined. I did not feel the need to have a trial with anyone else and ended up hiring her to do my wedding makeup. Can’t wait for her magic touch again!

How do I start by telling you how wonderful Jen is?! She is excellent with her facials, waxing, etc. I had a zit by my eyebrow that had a heart beat of it’s own! I’d called her up and she fit me right in. She worked on it and removed the heartbeat of my zit and because it was so GiNormous that I had to go back again for her to extract more of it — for FREE the second time. This has shown me how much she cared and put her heart into her job.
She even went above and beyond by throwing some other work on my face without charging and I know that blue light is another $ 50 somewhere else but, she gave it to me because I needed it! How wonderful.
Oh, and I had her do my eyebrow and lip wax and it’s been almost two weeks, no sign of any growth coming back! Whatever wax she uses, it’s amazing — just like her!

I got my eyebrows shaped today and it was an experience. Jennifer was great. This was such a different experience from my past brow waxings at another place. It WASN’T the pain I’ve experienced at the other place, no tear running down my face, I DIDN’T feel like my brows were on fire & my brows WEREN’T all red when she was done. I left there feeling relaxed. It was like a mini spa hour. I was so surprised by the lack of pain, I got on the phone when I was done to let my friends know that getting waxed doesn’t have to hurt.

Jennifer did my make-​up for my wedding day and she did a fabulous job. My make-​up stayed on all day, even after crying during our ceremony. She’s very easy going and offered great suggestions during our trial and on the day of, was prompt and professional. Timing wise, she was right on time for my wedding, but for a friend of mine who had four bridesmaid, plus the bride, she was a little slow on getting everyone done. Based on my friend’s experience, I kept my hotel room quiet w/​minimal distractions and she was perfect.

I had my bridal makeup done with Jen. My pictures turned out great and the makeup stayed on all night long. She was also very accomadating and promptly arrived at my mom’s house to apply the makeup. I onl y wish that she was in my bathroom everyday to fix my makeup. :(

I had a great facial with Jennifer. She took her time and didn’t rush me through the process as some other places do. I have sensitive skin and she made sure to use products that wouldn’t leave me with a rash on my face. She did several different procedures on me. I especially liked the Chocolate Decadence facial. I’ve also been using the Skinceuticals line of facial products she recommended and am very happy with them. Jennifer also does awesome make-​up! She did my make-​up for a wedding I was in and never felt more beautiful. I’ve had other make-​up artists make me look like a drag queen. She makes you still look like you, only better!

I couldn’t have asked for more from my visit to UE. Let’s just say I found myself in a very stressful day, frazzled from errands & appts among other things. Instantly, the ambiance of UE allowed me to leave my obligations & stresses @ the front door. The scents, décor, & soothing sounds of the room are so gravitating. Whether it’s a visit for wedding makeup, waxing, a facial, brow design, or simply a consultation, she offers her professional expertise, nurturing care, & personal rapport. I came in that one stressful day a mess… 2 hrs later, after a Brow Design, Calming & Soothing Facial w/​a touch of Chocolate Decadence, I felt renewed & my stresses were lifted. Jennifer is an infectious advocate for a healthy lifestyle & beauty regimen… she’s recommended some of my favorite products & I have very sensitive skin… Lastly, to sum up her expertise in Wedding Make-​Up… FLAWLESS & RELIABLE… you will not be dissapointed.

I have had several Sonopeel Facials with Jennifer and can’t wait to go back for more! She is extremely thorough and I noticed that she takes great care in remembering important individual details about her clients’ skin needs. Wow! This place is unbelievable! Not to mention the manager Jennifer too! First off, her place is located off of Burlingame Avenue in a small nail salon, where the ladies are also very welcoming as you enter the shop. The atmosphere is very cozy, relaxing, and especially well organized. As you walk further to the back of the salon, that’s where Jen will work her magical touch and turn your skin into pure elegant softness! I go here to get my eyebrows waxed and shaped every 2 months or so. What I like most about Jen is that she extremely thorough with every single process, she puts forth time and effort when satisifing her customer’s daily beauty needs. While being in the skincare and makeup industry for over ten years, Jennifer is very knowledgable when it comes to dermatology and skin care. no hesitation at all! She will highly recommend the best products when you are in need of a suggested maintenance. I highly recommend anyone who is desiring to experience the best facial and waxing of your life to definitely book an appointment with Jen, because she is the BEST in the area. I’ve gone to other estheticians around the area, but no one has her passion and urgency to do what she loves the most. I’ve gone to Unique Esthetics twice now to get my brows shaped, and I can’t tell you how much I love them! Jennifer is amazing… She is extremely meticulous and takes her time to get the shape just right. If you want your brows done right the first time around, you need to visit Unique Esthetics!
