History

Established in 1997.

What began as a simple data networking VAR (value added reseller) in 1997, has blossomed into a full service IP Communications Integrator. Whether you are a 20 person company or a 20,000 person company, Xtelesis has answers for your IT and Communications needs.

We partnered with ShoreTel in 2002 and have always been in the top five percent of resellers worldwide. In 2013 ShoreTel once again recognized Xtelesis for exceptional achievement in areas including customer satisfaction, revenue growth and proficiency with advanced applications. We support over 525 ShoreTel customers, making us one of the largest and highest ranked ShoreTel dealers in the world.

Starting in late 2011, the video conferencing discussion turned from «how do I get my conference rooms connected?» to «how do I get everyone, everywhere connected?» Xtelesis partnered with Vidyo in early 2011 to address this new paradigm — personal telepresence. Today, we are one of Vidyo’s largest partners worldwide.

While at AT&T in the mid-​1990s, Scott noticed something missing from the busy telecom and networking marketplace… What was needed, he realized, was a company committed to delivering full-​service communications integration for the mid-​market enterprise. Ever since, he’s devoted his considerable energies to serving that overlooked audience.

In 1997, Scott left his position at AT&T to launch Xtel Networks — the precursor to Xtelesis Corporation, where Scott now serves as president and CEO.
