I’ve had a number of suits, shirts, pants, and one jacket altered here. Edmond has always done a great job and I will keep going back. The only drawback is that they don’t accept credit cards, hence the 4 stars. I’ve always paid with cash but last time I went to pick up a jacket I forgot to stop at the ATM and didn’t have enough cash on me. I was happy that he was ok with me taking the jacket home and sending him a check for the difference but it would have been nice to not have to worry about this.

This humble shop offers reasonably-priced tailoring by gentlemen that understand how a suit is supposed to fit. My new suit was ready in timely fashion, and there’s no reason for me to search for any other tailor services. The Saturday hours(10a — 6p) are extremely convenient as well! When I went in(Aug, 2011), they were not yet set up, but were in the process of adding credit cards to their acceptable methods of payment.

Also known as «Le Couturier» and«House of Alterations». I work close by and needed to get a new suit altered. Did not have the time to run downtown to my old tailor, so I went in and met Dick Robasson who was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Took care of what needed to done and was able to get my suit back to me in less than a week(I needed it sooner than the typical week). Fit me nicely. While this is a new location for the business, they have been in Cambridge for a while in Central Square where they won a «Best of Boston» from Boston Magazine. One note: the hours are not what you would expect — closed on Thursdays and also closes early(at 3pm) on a few other days — stop by in the morning and you won’t have any problems.
