Michael C.
Business Owner
Michael Chang, founded New England Movement Arts in early 2013. He is a black belt martial artist, and champion in both Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
Over the years, Michael has helped coach many national and international champions. His most recent students have won gold medals at the Hong Kong International Kung Fu Festival and the 2009 World Guoshu Competition.
Michael started ballet and gymnastics as an adult and enjoys its many challenges. As a result of these interests Michael has a unique perspective in how athletes and dancers train in each discipline. That and his qigong training allow him to take the best of all worlds and coach each art with a logical sequencing. Along with running New England Movement Arts, he currently teaches Tai Chi and Tumbling.
