We offer a full range of services, which include working with your architect and/​or contractor on new construction or remodeling projects, design consultation and development, space planning, and working drawings for contractors. We also offer project administration, carpet and floor design, custom cabinetry, millwork, custom painting, artwork and accessories and purchasing services for furnishings both residential and contract and we specialize in the custom design and layout of professional home offices.

We will discuss your needs and work within your budget. Whether your project involves rearranging several rooms of existing furniture, renovating your current space or collaborating with your architect to design, build and furnish your dream home, we can make the job of decorating hassle free. We will help you coordinate and arrange existing furniture, or purchase new pieces, and provide a unified color scheme.

Business Owner

Barbara Pallat is the owner of Barbara Pallat Interiors located in Burr Ridge, Illinois, which has provided both residential and commercial interior design services for more than fifteen years. She received her undergraduate education at Denver University and later graduated from Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago and is a Past President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and was a trainer of NCIDQ jurors for design qualification. She is also a registered designer with the State of Illinois. Barbara is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

Although she principally serves clients in the Chicagoland area, her projects are widely scattered throughout the country. She has been published in the Chicago Tribune, Sun-​Times and various local newspapers and periodicals.
